Wonderful!!! The movers were professional and careful about packing and moving all objects. They stored my daughter items from March until June and delivery was just has professional as the pack up. Everything arrived intact and the workers were helpful,quick and on time. This was a great move and I would highly recommend this company.

These guys were great! Three guys moved us for 11 hours stopping only for 15 minutes to eat lunch on a day that was 93 degrees. They showed up on time, were fun and very professional. All day they had a positive outlook even with any challenges we presented them. I have never used movers before but I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat in fact we have already recommended to two friends. At the end of a very tiring day for them they even offered to load our trash up and take to the bottom of our driveway for us! Outstanding service, great personable guys and an accommodating owner made this move as easy on us as possible. Thanks New Horizon!

It was a great experience, the owner was very generous, and the customer service was great. I enjoyed working with them. In my next move, I will use them. The way they handled everything. They packed all of my stuff, everything was packed really nice, and the guys were really nice to me and my wife. They made sure that everything was working fine. They were good at keeping posted to what was going on and when they were going to come and finish the job and everything. The price was good.

They were the first movers I have used that didn't get lost on the way to my location. They were on time, professional, and took great care to wrap/protect my property. The price was very good, in my opinion, and I would use them again.

I wasn't impressed. I had read reviews on them and saw that they were on the Better Business Bureau, which other movers were not. I got quotes from other moving companies and they had the best price. The move took longer than expected though which made the final cost more than we were quoted. They said that we would have three movers and only two showed up. The owner came a couple ours later with two more guys that weren't as experienced and never really told us what was going on. By that time the two guys that had been working were exhausted so it took longer to get everything moved. They didn't follow the routes that my husband wanted them to take so it took them longer to get from house to house. They made it very inconvenient to pay by credit card so we had to have almost $1,000.00 in cash on us the day of the move. The worker who put the bed together took a long time to take it apart and put it back together because he didn't really have the right tools or training. When you are paying by the hour every minute counts. We really liked the two guys that did the majority of the moving and everybody really worked hard and we appreciate that, but the company overall could have been more professional. NOTE Oct 4, 2012: Sam, the owner of the company contacted me (Oct 2, 2012) after having learned that the ratings of his company had been affected by our review. He wanted me to recount the events that led me to post my review of his company and wanted to know why I had not contacted the company before posting a review. He said he was surprised to hear that we weren't happy with the service we had received since he had checked in with the movers and learned that we had tipped them adequately. I made it clear that tipping the movers does not automatically imply satisfaction with the company. The men who moved us, worked very hard that day and deserved recognition. That does not imply that I was happy with the company's handling of their business. So I made it clear to Sam that, he should maybe put in a mechanism in place where he calls his customers after work is completed and have them answer a few brief questions. It is NOT the customer's responsibility to contact the company, especially if like me the customer does not care for compensation. Another big problem was their inability to process a credit card over the weekend. (we were urged to go to an ATM and withdraw money, or someone would have to go to their closed offices on a weekday and do this on the phone with us, which they didn't desire to do- note I had checked with them prior about payment method and was told credit card would not be a problem). I urge future customers to check with the company about form of payment especially over the weekend.

I was in constant contact with administration about potential move dates and different options for the move (# of movers, # of trucks, etc). They always responded to my emails or phone calls promptly. On the day of the move the movers were a bit late, but it was raining so it was completely understandable. All of our belongings were carefully packed into the truck in a timely manner. All the major pieces of furniture that was not wrapped was wrapped carefully before getting loaded into the truck. Once everything was unloaded at our destination, each piece was briefly looked over by the same mover as it was coming off the truck. He was up-front about any damage that was incurred. The damage was minimal and mostly involved loose legs on a series of bookcases that we purchased from Ikea...cheap stuff to begin with. A few days later we noticed that our console table was scratched (this was not wrapped before loading) and our baby's crib had a chunk of wood chipped off of it as if something sharp hit it through the wrapping. To be fair, New Horizon did NOT wrap this piece - I wrapped it myself foam-like sheeting. I would definitely use their services again and would be comfortable recommending their services.

A Realtor friend recommend New Horizon to me. After calling many other companies I went with New Horizon. I felt comfortable with them from the first conversation with the woman in the office. She was very helpful in giving me ideas on downsizing for my father. The estimate they gave me was similar to other companies but I liked the idea that their movers have been with them for years . They are also listed with the Better Business Bureau with an A plus. They called the day before the move to go over details and discuss timing. Everything was in writing such as what stops got what furniture. I felt they were very organized. The day of the move the movers had everything listed.
