Moyer Pest Control

Spoke to woman who answered phone late in afternoon on 6-17-2010. Left all contact information which included two phone numbers. Was told that technician was busy, but would return call before 5:00 PM. No call EVER received. Waited two days before selecting another pest control company. Would not waist my time calling for any of this companies services.

We use them every three months. We have a contract with them where they come out and spray pesticides. All the representatives are friendly, very polite, very efficient, and courteous. It’s a pleasure to deal with them. They are very thorough. I haven’t had any problems with them. They are not super cheap, though.

They’ve been pretty reliable and their punctuality and pricing are also good. They did something to mess up our lawn at the end of last year but that was only one time. They are good about calling us before they come out.

It works well. We have an ongoing program with them. They come on a quarterly basis and they charge $100 a trip. They can solve problems. We've had bees in our house and they fixed that. They got rid of the mice. What they do works. The creatures keep coming back and trying, but the only time we ever see one is when it's dead. They have been very good. I have had no complaints with them. It's just that it's expensive. The price is high. Their responsiveness is very good.

They are huge in this area. I chose them because I knew I needed to have some serious lawn work done. I got a few estimates and spoke with other people. The service is fine and the lawn is definitely looking better than when we started. We are in the first year of our contract. The workers are all fine. They come, do their thing and leave within an hour. They are reliable and dependable. They always call ahead to let us know they are coming.

They did a wonderful job providing some very subdued lighting around my in ground swimming pool. I told them that I wanted some light for safety reasons, but I wanted it to look pretty and I am not out to light up the place. They listened to exactly what I said and lit up a couple of trees. They were reasonably priced as well.

The experience with them has been fine. They come back out if you find out that there are other problems. Their services aren't a one-time deal. They'll service you again if you need it; they guarantee their product, basically.

we have had moyer for many yrs during which we had a very nice lawn. when problems started to develop the past year or two, when we started to lose grass, the lawn became very thin in many areas, they did not want to deal with it. they would come and say, "we will reseed in the fall." well, now i have lots of mud instead of grass, they did not want to handle it and refused to speak to us further about it. someone came out to the house to look at it and they never got back in touch with us to talk about the visit and a plan. we have fired them and will pay someone else to fix their mess.

Called company for quote and asked for Angie's List member coupon. Sales person knew nothing about S29.99 coupon.

Service technician did not have much experience. I had to call another contractor.

I have used this company for a about two and a half years. They are an excellent company. They come when they say they will. They are very clean, thorough and really do a great job.

While the representative from Moyer was timely in his visit to my home. He completed a thorough inspection of the basement to determine our needs for a pump (a pit was already there, but a hole would have to be drilled for the outflow) and said he would get back to me with an estimate by mail the following day. While I suggested he email me, he preferred a printed estimate. This would have been fine, however, after more than a week and two phone calls, no estimate came. When I finally got in touch with their representative for price, it was nearly twice as high as the lowest estimate I received.

I started using Moyer for my lawn treatments in 2003 when I moved into this area. After a couple years I decided to try some other company but found that my lawn suffered, so I switched back and now my lawn looks great again. They come out about 6 times a year and fertilize and treat for weeds and disease. They also spot treat for weeds as necessary. I am very happy with the way my lawn looks. I also like the fact that they send me an email a few days ahead of time in case I want to be home to ask questions.

It was okay. I have a contract with them so it doesn't cost as much as normal. He is very professional and courteous. He cleans up after himself adequately.

I have them come out and do this occasionally. They do very good with these organic programs they have. We have had them for years. I have a pretty nice looking lawn compared to some others around here I think. They do pest control as well. We had a problem with groundhogs one time and they came and trapped them. That was also fine. It is a huge company around here and they are very nice. Their services are comparable. We are charged for about six months at a time.

They were able to give me an appointment that fit my schedule. Eric, the plumber, was early for the appointment. He offered numerous options so I could get my problems solved and still stay within my budget. He was quiet and courteous and cleaned up perfectly when he was done. I recommend their Plumbing Service Agreement to save 10% on repairs, no initial service charge, priority scheduling and 24 hour emergency service.

THEY GUARANTEE THEIR WORK, BUT I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HAPPY WITH THE LOOKS OF MY YARD. I HAVE USED THEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS, AND THEIR SERVICE HAS BEEN CONVENIENT FOR ME. THEIR PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN EFFECTIVE.

Service provider always rings doorbell to let me know he will be working on my property, and that gives me a chance to ask him any questions or voice any concerns. With the drought last year, I had some extra problems with weeds, and they came back a couple times for no extra charge. I am very happy with their service.

They were extremely polite and pleasant to deal with. They explained everything that they were doing. It was obvious they knew what they were doing. It was difficult because the pipe was huge. They cleaned up. I did call them back because the toilet wasn't quite right. They came right back and fixed it. I wish I could use them for everything.
