We completed the hardscape and landscape work for the Ness family. The project turned out very nice, and we also did some additional work that they hired us for after we arrived to start the original work. That work may have added a day or two to the workload, and we did have a couple days of rain in that period, but we stuck with it and the job turned out nice. The Ness' were very nice people to work for. We are happy they gave us an "A" for quality, and if our company has an opportunity to work for them again, I would make sure they were happy with the communication. I was not made aware of that concern during the project, but as I said, we did additional work while there. Last year our company did three large commercial projects , which really filled our schedule along with the homeowner projects. This year , we have decided to perform only residential work, to service our existing homeowners , along with new, welcomed Angies list customers, so that we can provide all of our customers with enhanced scheduling efficiency.

We did not do any work for Mrs. [removed member name]. Last February they purchased a big deal and we went right out to meet and formulate a game plan and proposal. Although the big deal only was good for one area and one proposal, we gave the [removed member name] proposals for five different areas. The pool area, the front sidewalk, the driveway, the rear patio, and some additional landscape. There was no additional charges for this as we were happy to oblige. Fair and creative estimates were given for all of the above. Although we reached out for feedback from them on several, meaning more than five occasions, we never heard back. No feedback, and no questions. That is fine , and although we always like to hear, it is not mandatory. It is just deflating to get no response despite our efforts, and then a year later see a mediocre grade. It happens, and you have have to understand that despite trying you can't always please everyone. To all future prospective Angies list customers, please give us as much feedback and ask as many questions as possible, so that we can work tirelessly towards making you a happy customer . Description of Work: The company was trying hard to accomodate, however the list of items from the ad were not available if you did not purchase manufactured stone from the company; since my garden was 9/10th's complete with natural stone and paving, I was not interested in manufactured stonework. The receptionist was helpful with information, and I did receive one estimate which was not in line with my budget, even minimally.

Description of Work: After waiting about a week for the initial consultation they came back with a quote of over $1300. I thank them, but I told them that I had a tight budget and that I was only interested in $400 worth of landscaping on the two (2'x 10') areas on the front of my home. Karen Tyson sent me an email explaining that the $199 was only meant to be put towards a project and they could do some mulching and edging (No Plants) for about $600. I apologized for misunderstanding the advertisement and that I would seek a refund and do what I could within my own capabilities. I thought it was applicable to do $400 worth of landscaping on the two small areas (2'x10') even with the cheapest of mulch and flowers but I guest I was wrong.

Customer- While we understand your frustration that your job did not fall within the bounds of The Big Deal - We have to say, you requested a quote for 2 sections- a 3' x 12' and a 4' x 12' section. (You may check your estimate form for this number). This is 4 x what the Big Deal included. We did try very hard to give you a significant discount on your project, but it seems that your expectations were unreasonable. We never gave you a quote for (2) 2' x 10' areas, but if you would like us to, we can. Just let us know.

Description of Work: The provider did not call me back for a week and a half now. I left a message on June 19, 2013 that I will get a refund for the deal if I don't receive a call back and the provider did call just now after I already called Angie's list for a refund. After reading the reviews on this provider, I will not be using them.

This customer purchased The Big Deal coupon on June 5th. We at Pavescaper LLC, responded to her purchase on June 7th, via email, which I re-copied to customer and to Angies List. The email that was sent was requesting a few days and times that may work for her, and then we could set up sending an estimator out to meet with her. We also called her and left a message, but no response until the evening of June 19th. The estimator returned a call to her within 10 minutes, and at that time she requested a refund, and did not wish to move forward. On June 21st, we again reached out to her via email, letting her know that we contacted Angies List with her refund request, and to also let her know that we would be more than happy to set up an appointment to meet with her if she had changed her mind. These correspondences were also forwarded to our Angies List rep. We still never heard back from customer, until we saw her post this morning. We reached out to this customer on many occasions, and have only heard back from her when she requested a refund. Theres not much we can do if we have customers that do not respond back to us with their availability.

Description of Work: Description of Work: Landscape design and drawing. Member Comments: I called Pavescapper due to a special they had on AngiesList. They called and scheduled an appointment. Eric came out and we discussed, at length, some ideas to improve my curb appeal. An initial design was created and refined. We emailed many times to get the final design. In the end, I decided to take a shoot at implementing the plan myself. If money weren't an issue, I'd would have gladly let Eric perform the work.
