They had the best price in our area. Very nice and cleaned up well. Very helpful when getting all the paper work we needed in the ended.

I picked up 45 nails in the alley next to my house when job was finished. I will be looking for more in my yard when I mow the lawn this week.

We have already passed on their name and two of our friends have had new roofing jobs done. All are very pleased.

I would recommend them to anyone who needs a roof... Quality products. On time, in fact it was done early even with bad weather! I literally had no clean up and that was for an entire roof that had two layers of old shingles to remove.

Work crew arrived early the day of installation and worked through until it was too dark to continue. Two workers arrived the next day to install the missing piece of fascia. Overall we were extremely pleased with contract details (everything was spelled out), work quality and cost (compared to other bids received.)

Everyone from sales, scheduling, and project management kept me informed at all times. Can t say enough about the 5 man work crew. They worked from sunrise to sunset and completed my 3,000 square foot home with a hip roof, 2 lower roofs pertaining to the morning room and family room bump out as well as an attached two car garage in 2 days. The work crew cleaned up all their equipment, supplies, and waste material to put my yard back to the way it was before they started.

The worst decision of my life was hiring this company. An $11,000 roof, cost me an additional $30,000 to correct problems created by issues resulting from improper venting. The company was not responsive to my requests for correction of the issues.

I was extremely impressed by the customer service. A little less impressed with the subcontractor that Doing It Right hired for my project. After the job was complete, both the sub and Garrett, Doing It Right’s project manager, walked and inspected the completed work. The roof looks great.

Salesmen explained very well, the entire process and what would be included. Crew that did the work were very professional, friendly, courteous and worked 12 hour days almost non-stop to get the job done. They made sure they protected shrubs, flowers and anything else below the roof when taking old shingles off the roof. Clean-up was extraordinary and they did not even miss a nail after leaving. Project Manager did not ask for payment until we were satisfied with the job. Would recommend this company for a roof to everyone.

The sales person was courteous and applied no pressure sales. When we were done with the bid, I knew the full terms, materials, and that them would follow my requirements. When I accepted their bid, I had some timing issues. The sales person said they would work with me within the limits of the weather. Which is exactly what happened. An important detail, I don't pay big deposits. I understand paying a small deposit to show you are serious, but I need to know your company is successful and can carry the financial load and logistics. With Doing It Right Roofing, you don't pay until the job is done to your satisfaction. After checking the reviews and BBB, I had confidence. Once I knew the timing of the other project that had to happen closely with this one, I contacted them and they showed up on the day appointed. With two teams because there had been so much rain they wanted to get jobs done as fast as possible. They got the whole job done in one day to my satisfaction. My decking was replaced, the ledger board replaced, a front soffit installed, copper flashing on our bay window and front porch, a special membrane over the whole roof, my new shingles installed, my chimney PROPERLY flashed, all gutters replaced including downspouts, and existing venting properly reinstalled. The clean up crew came by the next day and all materials were removed. They were thorough. I did find one bad reinstall of the dryer vent. I didn't say anything when the company inspector came by. They have their own job inspector who drops by the next day, after the clean up crew. I pointed out the improper placement of the gutter heating wire. He fixed it. He then went through his inspection. He found the dryer vent issue, the crew hadn't put the rigid pipe I use back fully in place and had use a flexible segment to connect. The inspector reinstalled the rigid line correctly and we were done. I gladly paid the immediately. The process was fast and easy. As a company they were responsive to my needs. Their crew was courteous. All materials were as agreed, and showed up the day of the work! No materials sitting all over the place for days. Yes, I would use them again, in fact, I will be using them for another house soon. Yes, I would recommend them, in fact, my neighbor has just hired them after trying to get a big box option. Their prices were in line with the three other bids I got. The quality of the work was great. I am not affiliated with Doing It Right Roofing except as a happy demanding customer.

Robb was the salesman for Doing It Right Roofing and he was the best salesman I ever had the pleasure of doing business. He first educated me on the roofing business prior to introducing me to Doing It Right. He was definitely one of the main reasons I went with this company as Robb was honest and had an abundance of integrity. The next person I met was Garrett, the project manager, and again he was just as honest and full of integrity as Robb! He made sure the contractors working on my roof did exactly what the company expected...and boy did they! Dillan was the foreman and he was a fantastic leader! We are so happy with our new roof and would recommend Doing It Right Roofing to everyone! Their 50 year warranty and quality shingles are second to none. Highly recommend this company and that's coming from a customer that works in the construction business. Not only were they super fast at addressing all questions and concerns, our project manager Garrett went above and beyond, no words but thank you so much!! Our quote was lower than other companies and my husband received his military discount, very nice bonus. We were beyond impressed with the clean-up. Finally a contractor that lives up to expectations and "Doing It Right" is exactly what they did. Will differently recommend to everyone!

I got my roof, skylight, and gutters replaced by them. I also got quotes from 5 different highly rated companies on Home Advisor. I ended picking this company. The whole process with dealing with the sales guy, project manager and installers was painless. They explained everything and over delivered in everything that I was promised. The finished project looked amazing, the price was competitive, the work was done ahead of schedule, and everything was cleaned up properly. I would highly recommend this company and will do business with them in the future. KUDOs to the Doing It Right team.

Nice company to deal with. The salesman showed up at our house with several helpful suggestions and gave us a prelimnary estimate on the spot. After a few emails back and forth he came up with contract we liked at a good price. The job super was great at communicating via emai or text and was responsive to EVERY question or concern we had. Crew was polite, hard-working, and talented. Our job included gutter work, soffit & fascia, siding, and roofing. Couln't have asked for a better experience.

They were very responsive - provided extremely detailed proposal/scope of work. Only minor issue/inconvenience was that their (subcontracted) installers had to come back twice as they didn't seem to read their entire scope prior to starting original installation.

I selected this contractor because the contract included a grinder-cut installation of the chimney flashing. The initial installation, which was performed by a subcontractor crew, was poorly adhered to the brick with caulk in a way that was meant to give the illusion of a proper installation. They did promptly send their in-house service crew to re-do the installation correctly and with mortar. There was another minor issue with the felt lining not extending all the way to the drip edges of the eaves, but not critical in my estimation. This company has a very thorough and comforting sales process which inspires confidence, but their use of sub-contractors and tolerance for their cut-corners is disappointing. It's troubling that had I not done my research and looked closely at the installation, i would not have gotten what i paid for. I can only recommend them because they made it right in the end, and I'm not sure that an honest roofing company exists. Pay attention to whomever you contract with.
