They responded quickly and fixed the problem. They showed up on time and were very polite and answered all my questions.

Very happy with service. They even gave advice on how to try to repair ice-maker before calling serviceman!

Great. I called Monday morning and they were there by 1:30 that afternoon. Professional, courteous and responsive.

The dryer was squeaking. A part on the drum was broken. He had the part in his van (because he inquired as to the make of my appliance and the nature of the problem when I called) and it was repaired in less than 30 minutes. I called on a Sunday, he answered himself (Mr. Durkin) and he was here in the timeframe promised. Excellent service. Family business.

They came on time within 24 hours of my call. They were fast, courteous and professional.

Mr. Durkin came to my house on time. He removed the rack from the machine and ran the machime. It worked and he told me that I have to play with the control sometimes because that happens to dish washers of that type. I was satisfied.

A part that drains the water into the pipe was worn down. I was lucky they had the part in the truck. As they repaired the dishwasher, they explained everything to me step by step so I understood what they were doing. I will definitely use Durkin Appliance again. They were so nice and friendly.

He did everything I expected him to do and I would recommend him.

I called for a service call on Feb 7 and Mr. Durkin was able to come the next day. The oven bake unit was burned out and luckily he had a replacement unit in his truck. I was very happy with his quick response and the fact that he had the needed part with him!

The owner and his son (or, possibly his grandson?) came exactly as promised. They were already prepared by my info.; the younger man obviously had done this many times and had my 7-year old Kenmore Elite washer apart in less than 5 minutes (not as easy as he made it look - disconnect, reconnect the wrong things and you got bigger problems ...). Before he had the pump apart, he explained what / why the problem could be; once the pump was apart it was visible he was correct (in comparison with the new, good pump); more importantly reinstalled the machine worked/works perfectly again - with no leak. They were in and done within a half an hour. All in all, a totally satisfactory repair experience. I certainly would recommend them.

I called Durkin Appliance Service on Monday, 11/26/2012 to repair our washing machine. The machine had failed over the weekend, losing the ability to spin and drain. Mr. Durkin answered the phone personally and set an appointment for today, 11/27 between 3:30 and 5:30, which was my requested service time. Mr Durkin and his grandson (a family business) arrived at 4 pm and were finished by 4:30 pm. Turns out a sock had escaped from the agitator and clogged the works. It was an easy fix for the Durkins that we could not have figured out for ourselves. Money well spent and a great service experience, too.

This service provider arrived within the window of time stated. They where friendly and professional. They quickly identified the problem and repaired same I would recommend to friends and family

Called at 9:15 the day after thanksgiving, expecting to have to schedule something at a later date. They arrived within an hour, got RIGHT down to business and were out in about an hour.

They were very good work and professional. They were timely and prompt.

My washing machine stopped running with a full load of clothes and soapy water; it would not turn or drain. I contacted Durkin Appliance on a Wednesday afternoon at 4pm and they were able to come out and repair the washer on Thursday afternoon. They were prompt in arriving and quick to diagnose the problem. It took less than 45 minutes for them to repair the switch and have my washer running again! I would call them again in an instant!

I called to request service on a Wednesday morning and I was asked if I would be home that day. Unfortunately I was at work. So I scheduled the work for Friday during the day. I was told that the repair person would call me in the morning to let me know when they would be over. I received a call around 10 AM and was told that the repair guy would be there between 11-12 PM. The repair guy showed up and within minutes of taking the dryer apart diagnosed the issue. He had the parts in his truck and fixed it right away. He was onsite for maybe 30 minutes. The repair guy was very courteous and friendly. I would definitely use them again if I need an appliance repaired.

They were skeptical and hesitant to install the board, which had been repaired by fixyourboard.com, but agreed to do it with the understanding that they were not responsible if it did not work (which was certainly the case). My wife indicates that they are pleasant to work with. The range works with the installed board. They seem to be responsive and came when they said they would.

Called Durkin on Christmas Eve day to request service for the following week. We knew it was likely to be the belt, and were able to give him the model # over the phone, so he said he would probably be able to fit us in that afternoon. He called mid-afternoon to confirm the location, showed up a few minute later, and promptly replaced the broken belt on the dryer. Note on the rating for price: While some may look at a "C" rating as bad, I am using the ratings as listed by Angie's List (C=Fair). I think we probably paid the general going rate, and don't consider the "C" rating to be a complaint! On the other hand, he was quite punctual and accommodating to come out on Christmas Eve day, so for all else I rated them an "A", and would definitely use this company again.

SEARS canceled our service appointment twice - and we're lucky they did. Durkin fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes for less than SEARS was charging for just a service call. They arrived right on time (no 4 hour window). Extremely pleased.

very professional. only challenge was the new motor that was put in had a small crack in it. After one load of laundry, it was leaking again, albeit less leaky. Called him and he was out the very next day. Replaced it with no additional charge to me.

Experience with this company was very pleasant. They answered phone on 1st ring, scheduled mutually agreeable appt., arrived on time, assessed and troubleshot the problem and fixed problem within 20 minutes. Professional and knowledgeable. Left basement in good condition.

Washer works better than it has in a long time. It is so quiet, I can't hear it running from upstairs.

The experience was fine. He came when he said he would. He got the part as quickly as he could and he put it in for me. I think it was a good value. It was sort of an emergency situation as we were having a family get-together.
