Description of Work: Rob and crew came and replaced the broken garage door spring. Lubricated everything. They even attached our button opener by the back door that had been loose since we bought the house. We would use him again. The only challenge we had was the initial phone tag.

Description of Work: They were delayed due to weather but called to tell me when they would arrive. Rob was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was founded I needed a new opener motor and the old rollers replaced. We had one miscommunication about what I wanted but Rob came back and took care of it at no charge. Rob even found me a new but older model opener that would work with my onboard remote in my 2006 vehicle.

Description of Work: After purchasing the "deal" with you guys, I have to chase down the provider. Finally scheduled to be on 11/11/2014 between 3-5PM. On the day, after waiting for them to show up, I called the provider at 4:45PM to find out why no show. Non apologetic and no even the courtesy to explain why, they agreed to "do" me a favor to honor the appointment. Finally at 6:30 PM they showed up. The $99 was a total rip-off since he ended up charging me $209 more to replace the springs and grease the door. He then have the nerve to ask me to provide Angie's list with a 5 start rating?!! Don't know how you guys screen your providers but you really missed this character. A total rip-off!!

Description of Work: I purchased the 99.00 deal of the day for a garage door tune up. I have not heard from or seen the contractor. I have called and left messages with no response. I need to figure out how to get my money back if he is not going to do the work.

Description of Work: I signed up for the garage tune up 9/23/14, the never got hold of me, I didn't have the phone number, followed up with Angie's list, after the 30 day cancellation. someone contacted the person who then called, said he would help schedule a workman prior to our tune up. No call No show. did not recommend working with this company.

Description of Work: I felt that Global Discount Door did a thorough job of checking, lubing, adjusting my garage door and leaving me with advice should a problem arise with the tension springs. The only reason I checked "No" about using this provider again is because there is another provider I want to try next time. It may well be that I will use GDD again after that.
