Be Ware! This company is very unprofessional. I paid a deposit to have my garage door repaired and never heard back from the sales manager, Rob. I called more than 3 times to get an update on the repair and each time I was told he needed to check to see if the part had come in and would call me back. Well, I had never received a call back from him and after waiting a month, I ultimately had to call another company to repair my door. I would never recommend this company as they are very unprofessional and will take your money!

The installer who came and installed the garage doors, was a pleasure to talk to! He was very knowledgeable and I will definitely be referring him to everyone! These days it’s hard to find someone to complete the work no less show up on time. Thank you again!

Rob contacted almost immediately and seemed to be trustworthy and polite. He made an appointment for that same afternoon so I decided not to pursue any other offers and by 4pm he hadn't shown up, so I texted him and again he returned my text promptly and apologized and said he would be there on Sunday at 10 am...Never showed, never called and didn't return my text and I lost a day and a half waiting for a so called Angi pro...Very disappointed and hopefully this review will save someone else from a tonne of aggravation...

I called them on Thursday 23rd around 7:30 and Rob called me about 5 minutes. He said he'd be out between 8-9am in the morning and he was there about 8:30. He looked at it, he showed me what it needed, he showed me exactly what it needed. So he wrote an estimate. Cory called and when he got here he did it in 45 minutes. I tried it myself and it looked fine.

My wife called me when I was on the road Thursday November 7th and sent me a picture that our cable to one of our garage springs broke and we need to repair it. I told my wife I will check into on Friday when I got back home. I went into “Angie's List” and accurately submitted that my cable to the spring had broken and it was not an emergency but I would like to get it repaired. Rob called me within seconds of me placing the submission form and scheduled the call for 9-10 the following day 11-9-19. His service man "Corey" called before he was to be here and was running late and said would be here by 11 -12 at noon he called he was 45 minutes out. He came I showed him want I needed fixed he gave a price to do and said he would do it. Then I looked outside and he was walking around talking on his cell not doing the work. Five minutes later he said he did not have a part needed he said it was a $9 part and they have in stock back at the office and Rob Bennett the owner would call me shortly to reschedule. The call never the rest of the day Saturday, no call on Sunday so on Monday at 10 AM I called Rob on a different line, because I suspected they were "blowing me off" and he said he would call me right back. At 11:30 AM I called back and it went straight to voice mail. Rob apparently does not want do the job so he just won't schedule the repair. He did not actually tell me. I believe that since it was not " a home run job but an actual repair" , he simply is not calling me back to schedule the return visit. It is my belief that unless you want to actually replace a door don’t call these guys, they don’t want to repair anything; they just want to sell you a new door. I have been in sales and service for thirty years and would never do this to my customers, my reputation mean way too much to me. Extremely disappointed , Bob, Bob Waterston

Responded within 5 minutes and came out that afternoon. Garage door opener was replaced although a part was missing which only delayed the completion an hour. Would use again if needed

They were fine. I would recommend them. They have 350 reviews on Home Advisor website. Price could have been cheaper.

Everything went very well! My husband called in the morning and they were here and everything completed in the afternoon. We were very grateful for their promptness and work completion time especially since my husband sustained a very severe injury to his thumb in the process of evaluating the door himself. The garage door is working very well and we'd recommend this company to anyone in need of garage door repairs. They were the only company that offered a lifetime warranty on the spring that they installed which is an added bonus!

Erin and Andrew were great to work with. They installed my new garage door in about 5 hours. Erin was very informative about how to care for my new door; what preventive maintenances should be done to keep it working like new for a long time. I would recommend these 2 for any door install. They were friendly, courteous, and cleaned up before they left. Top marks from me

Aaron and Andrew worked very hard. They really went above and beyond and produced great results. They were timely and very professional. We were very happy with their work.

I didn't have the time nor confidence of tinkering with this replace/repair (but there are several videos and instructions online for the DIYer at your own risk). Technician arrived early, was professional, engaged, informational, and approachable. The spring/not the labor has a lifetime warranty. Quality rating is N/A because springs have specified operating specs and cycles so it cannot be evaluated at this point. I did not really check too far into other competitors for pricing, but did find one company that was quoted lower, but was not available same-day. The job took a little longer than expected due to an initial mis-judgement on weight of the garage door from the technician. The technician went over with me simple ways to keep the garage system working longer and more efficient.

A bit late in arriving, but did a good job when they arrived.

On time and very professional. Replaced the springs, pulleys and all of the rollers-which were original to the door. Adjusted the opener, which now does not make noise. The door now is now balanced and closes evenly.

Someone broke into my car and stole my garage door opener. Global Discount Door came out the next day. They programmed a new opener. The 2 installers were polite and professional. I would use this company again.

Rob arrived at the time he said he would, and I must say he is a really nice guy - he worked very hard and did a wonderful job. He ran into a couple of problems because we have a house that is over 50 years old, but he solved them quickly. He cleaned everything up before he left. I would recommend this gentleman to anyone who wants quality work at a very reasonable price. We are very very happy with our new garage door..

I had Global Discount Door install a door for me after reading the reviews. Global Discount Doors missed their appointment time causing me to lose a day of work. They also didn't hook up my garage door opener correctly causing me much work trying to figure out what the problem was.They told me that was not their responsibility and basically didn't care if the opener worked properly. I figured out the problem and made repairs myself. I wouldn't recommend Global Discount Door

They did a great job of communication and came right away. Their price was the best I found but not an A because as a rule, free is best and this was $288 away from free so take my B with a grain of salt. On quality, the B came because the garage door screeched after installed but it still goes up and down just fine and some oil that I applied eventually took most of the noise away.

Called yesterday and talked with Rob, who was very friendly. Aaron and Andrew showed up today and fixed my very old wooden garage door. They were very professional and worked quickly.

The serviceman found a broken wire to be the reason for my garage door not adjusting properly using just the screws on the outside. He spliced it together for me, as I was emphatic that I did NOT want a new opener. He made it work, although it cost me an additional $80 above what I'd paid for the simple tune-up on Angie's List. I'm sure he saved me money in the long run and I would definitely use them again.

Poor coordination between the owner, installer and customer. Owner said he give a discount and did not follow through with offers. Installers were unaware of owners discount statements.

Garage door springs broke jumped on line emailed him to give me a bump the next day for a quote. He emailed me back the same night telling me that he would be over in the morning to take care of the springs. Well he performed the work flawlessly and did take him long to fix! Also he is the only company the has life time warranty on springs

My garage door opener motors (25 years old) broke down on Saturday morning. I called Rob Bennett, who responded promptly to my message. He listened to my description of the problem, and gave me the time that he would be at my house. He was prompt, arriving less than two hours later with all the supplies we had discussed. He was very courteous & professional. He explained all aspects of the work, and provided me with an estimate. He completed the job within a few hours, and provided me with contact information. His pricing included the motors & photo-safety cells, installation, and clean-up of all related trash & debris. I was extremely pleased with Rob Bennett of Global Discount Door & Service Corp. of Quakertown.

We had called three service providers in the area. Two said they would come out to provide an estimate - both were NO SHOWS - no calls to let us know. Rob provided an accurate estimate over the phone. He installed two new torsion springs. We discussed how loud the door was and for a minor amount of money he fixed us up with new 100K nylon rollers, a tune up, lubricated tracks, roller, bearings and springs. Now I will be able to sleep through the family coming and going at all hours. Rob was polite and professional. We will use him again for a yearly tune up next summer.

They were very professional. They gave me very accurate times of when they would show up and showed up on time. The two installers were polite, professional, did a great job installing the door and instructing us on how to use it.

Rob came at the exact time he said he would. My garage door wouldn't go down, so Rob diagnosed the problem and also installed new 100K cycle rollers and gave me a new remote control. I would definately recommend him to everyone that I know.
