This was fine and I have used them for years. They are reliable, showed up on time and got the job done.

Everything went very well. I put them against three companies and they were right there with the rest of them. So they seem to be comparable to all the other ones I had. They're all high, but it is what it is. I would loved to have had it a little bit lower. I like Rob, the owner is nice. They were here on time. The work was wonderful. Pleasure to work with, left the site ready for the sod. I would refer them. It was just the two gentlemen, he worked on a Saturday, he worked all day, the two of them. So he was really good, really nice. The installation was fine, we'll see how the ongoing maintenance and service goes. Their price was low on maintenance than two of the others.

Great!! We ended up having some problems with the pipes that winter due to the extreme temps. They came out and fixed everything at no charge. These guys are VERY professional and knowledgable.

Rob came over provided estimate and which was very reasonable compared to other offers. Rob team came over on agreed schedule and completed the job. They were extremely professional and able to explain me all the functionalities after installation. The only concern I had though was delayed email responses that took us several months to finalize the installation. Other than this minor inconvenience, I am satisfied with their work.

They did a good job, but they were a little too expensive.

This company requires an initial 15min phone consultation. Apparently they don't need any new business! A mutually agreed upon time was scheduled. After waiting 30 minutes, I called the office and they responded " let me track Ron down"... I never heard back until the following day, when there were some messages on my answering machine. Needless to say, there are many irrigation companies out there, and a bad first impression is a red flag as far as I'm concerned. I am sympathetic that " things happen", however in this day and age of cell phones etc , there is no excuse for not having the common courtesy to be respectful of the customer's time.

Let me start by saying I gave Hydroscapes an overall grade of D for Disappointed. After reading the favorable reviews I emailed Hydroscapes early April to schedule time for a quote. The Office Manager responded immediately and said she would forward my request to an individual that would call me within one business day. A week later, no call so I sent a follow-up email and the Office Manager appologized and said she would speak with Rob Kratz and he would call me within one business day. A week later....no call. Again, I called the Office Manager and she appologized and said she would speak with him and he would call me back. After several days still no return call. I decided to give it one more shot and called the Office Manager. She appologized and said she didn't know why he was not returning the calls. She said she would go and speak with him immediately and that he would call me back right away. Wait for it...Five days later...no return call. If they treat perspective customers this way, I can't imagine how they treat existing customers. I called two competitors and both called back within 15 minutes and scheduled appointments to visit my home and provide quotes.

Upon contacting Hydroscapes for a quote, the owner quickly returned my inquiry and visited my home the next day. Rob did a thorough site survey after asking for my objectives for irrigating our front lawn and flower beds. I was provided with a written quote the following day. Installation was scheduled and took two days, one for the plowing of pipe and the second for installation of valves and heads. Upon completion, a system walk through was completed and the timer schedule reviewed. The system has worked flawlessly and Hydroscapes has twice winterized the system for a reasonable fee. I can highly recommend this company and its team.

Rob promptly provided the estimate after our first meeting. On the date of install they were on time. They installed the entire system in a day. Rob and his crew were very professional. So far I am happy with the work he has done. I'd recommend him to my friends.

We decided we wanted to have a lawn irrigation system installed at our home. After reading some reviews on Angie's List, I decided to reach out to Hydroscapes for an estimate. I left a voicemail and received a call back about 30 minutes later. I was told that the owner, Rob, would be in contact with me in the next 24-48 hours to schedule an estimate. After two weeks passed and I hadn't heard anything, I called back to follow-up on my request. The gentleman I spoke to again promised me that he would follow-up directly with Rob and get back to me within 24 hours. That was 10 months ago. To this day, I still haven't heard from Rob or anybody else at Hydroscapes. Apparantly, he is the only one capable of providing estimates and if he doesn't feel like calling you back, you're out of luck. I was trying to hand several thousand dollars to this company and they couldn't even return a call. That's just bad business, in my opinion. It's just a phone call. As busy as anybody may be, there's always time for a simple phone call. I ultimately ended up contacting another local company, Evergreen Irrigation, and they called me back instantly, scheduled an estimate, and had our system installed 3 weeks later. The owner there was fantastic to work with, showed up on time, performed the work he promised, and followed-up with us 2 weeks afterwards to see how our system was working and ask if we had any questions. He even sent a crew out a few days later to check our lawn and spread some grass seed along the areas of the yard where the lines were installed. Within a few weeks, our yard was the envy of the neighborhood. I'm ultimately glad things didn't work out with Hydroscapes... but nonetheless, their lack of communication was frustrating and unprofessional.

First contacted Hydroscapes on Secptember 2, 2014 and spoke with James Giardina. I told him that I got found him on Angie's List and that I needed sprinkler winterization for a 16 zone sprinkler system. He said he would work up an estimate and email me back. He was very punctual. He did email me back with an estimate. After agreeing to the job, he states that he will get in touch with me in October to schedule me. October 9th, James had not called so I email him to remind him. He does not return my email. I then call him and he proceeds to tell me will call me to schedule me. Very, very disappointing. My sprinkler company from our previous address has already contacted me to winterize my sprinklers and Hydroscapes has lost my business . Terrible way to do business

They work okay. They are not cheap. They did the service fine and the sprinkler system is okay but it doesn't cover everything.

They did a good job. They put the system in and they have been very reliable in terms of coming back and taking care of things that needed to be taking care of. I had no problem with them.

We called and left a message to schedule a consultation. Rob promptly returned our call and set a time to come out. He showed up promptly and spent about 45 minutes listening to the problems we were having looking at yard and measuring. He gave us a written quote that specified the entire drainage plan, what materials would be used and how the drains would be installed. Because we wanted to put our house on the market, Rob was willing to work us into his schedule as soon as possible. The day before the job Rob's crew dropped off the drains and supplies. They showed up on time as agreed and worked hard. For the amount of work done we were surprised at how quickly they were able to finish. His trench machine kept things pretty tidy and his guys did a great job of seeding and getting the straw done. A few days after the installation we had a large rainstorm and the drain and new grading worked perfectly. Some of the filled in trenches settled quite a bit, so we called Rob and sent a picture. He sent one of his team over to refill and then reseed. That fixed the issue. Overall we were very impressed with how knowledgable Rob was and were very satisfied with work that was done. He returned our calls, did a great job, addressed our concerns and then called back a few weeks later to see if everything was working properly. If only we'd have had his number sooner, we could have solved our drainage issue for good years ago! We'd hire him again without hesitation.

They do a terrific job for me. They have done an excellent job, I have a contract . I highly recommend them. The price is reasonable. They come out in the spring and the fall to turn it on and off for me. They are very friendly.

They always work within budget and help to keep costs affordable. They installed the irrigation system in our yard several years ago. Staff is always punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

They did a very good job designing and installing. I kept them for the annual maintenance since they know the system well. I don't think their twice annula maintenance service is the cheapest in town, but they are reliable, knowledgeable and very friendly & courteous.

They originally installed the system, and they have always done a good job of maintaining it. Specifically, they arrive on time, always do good work, and are very professional. Most importantly, however, they are extremely responsive.

I have been very pleased with Hydroscapes. They did a good job with the system's installation, and they have been quite responsive to any issues that I have. Additionally, some of my neighbors have used the company for the same work.

They did a great job with the installation and finished the work quickly. However, they had to return a couple of times to make adjustments and they charged $150.00 for each adjustment. I thought this was bad business since I felt these adjustments should have been part of the original work.

I have know the owner since he put our irrigation unit in. They're great to work with and very knowledgable. He fully explained how the service works. He also did our baseball fields as well. He is always on time and always calls when they're late. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I plan on switching to this company for our regular sprinkler service and future projects. I guess I have already switched, since they winterized our system for us. Their customer service is excellent and they do a quick, yet very efficient job. They are reasonably priced and an estimate I received for future work was one of the better prices I had received. Most of all, I love you kind they are. Good customer service is hard to come by, but these guys have it!
