Description of Work: They came in a really timely manner and made sure we knew when that was going to be. They unclogged a kitchen drain, and they explained all that they did and showed us where the clog was. They were helpful and professional.

Description of Work: I called the provider for a quote and they refused to provide a quote over the phone, saying only that a plumber would come to my house and provide a quote on arrival. Since my requested service was a relatively standard sewer line cleaning, I was only requesting a quote for the sewer line cleaning, which they should have provided. I elected to instead hire a company that would provide a quote over the phone for a sewer line cleaning.

Description of Work: We had a piece of cast iron pipe blocking our waste line. They snaked the drain and used a camera to identify the problem. The blockage was located under the floor of our basement. Zoom broke up the concrete over the blockage, removed the section of pipe with the blockage, replaced the section of pipe, and poured new concrete to repair the floor. We were very satisfied with their service.

Description of Work: The guys from Zoom were fantastic! We discovered a flooded basement on Friday night just before dinner guests were arriving. Early Sat. morning, I called another drain clearing company who came out and were unable to clear the clogged sewer line. To be fair to them, at that time, we did not know where the outdoor sewer drain opening was. The Zoom guys, spent three hours here, cleared the drain, persisted until they were able to run their camera through from our drain opening outside the house to the street (which is probably over 100') to make certain that the drain was completely clear. They give a guarantee on their work of one year, too. They were extremely professional, determined and pleasant. I would definitely recommend them again, especially since I had the comparison of having experienced two drain clearing services in the span of a few hours and seeing the difference in attitude as well as equipment.

Description of Work: This job was a small job, clearing a slow drain--the washer drain was backing up into the bathtub in the next room. (On a slab, nothing's easy.) I was impressed with the attitude, courtesy, professionalism of all Zoom Drain personnel from prior contact, so I used them again. With this and prior jobs,they explained what they were planning in clear detail beforehand, and pretty much kept me informed throughout the job. I found them very thorough and well trained. I would have used them for a major under-slab pipe replacement, but found a contractor who whose plumber outlined the job the same way as Zoom had, and he could supervise the whole job from trenching to installing a new kitchen following the trenching. I did not want to coordinate contractors' jobs. | |Pricing can be on the high side, BUT as Zoom points out, they specialize, and have the equipment,training and experience. I trust them completely, especially after some of the other estimates I have received. | |As their name says, Zoom handles drains only and they do it well. They are not general plumbing contractors. I would use them again and highly recommend them with no reservations.

Description of Work: On previous occasion I called a big advertising company who promoted themselves well but did not live up to my expectations. I called Zoom. They were punctual and pleasant. The tech seemed to enjoy his job and he knew it well. I am glad that I have Zoom to call when and if something arises.

Description of Work: The repaired the outdoor connection between the street and my house. This was a very difficult project but they had a lot of special tools that made the project work out well. They did this work last March.
