Josh was punctual and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and efficiently treated it, then assessed the sewer line’s integrity with a camera.

It went very well The technician who came to our house was very professional and efficient. He determined the issue and explained everything to us before clearing the blockage from our drain. The reason for a low rating on responsiveness is that i never received a call after entering my information on Angie's List, instead i had to call. Once i called they were very responsive.

Very professional, but there estimate was extremely high, so I chose another company.

I had such a great experience with Zoom Drain. They were very accommodating when scheduling an appointment. I needed someone out the next day and could only do in the evening. I also had a small issue the week following my appointment and they came back out and fixed it without charging me.

(UPDATED REVIEW)Another company referred me to Zoom Drain when I had a sudden backup into the basement. It was an emergency and the Zoom team arrived quickly. It was clear that there was a blockage (wipes — don't flush them!!!) and that the house drain and curb trap were dislocated and would have to be dug up and replaced. For the immediate problem -- unblocking the drain temporarily so the house could be inhabited -- they offered a choice of the cheaper snaking and the more expensive hydrojet treatment, which they said would leave the pipe clean. Of course I took that. It didn't clear the drain and they didn't try the snake, saying that it wouldn't fit through from inside. I paid $563 for this failed job, figuring that the clog was impossible to clear. They said the $563 could be applied to the cost of digging up and rebuilding the drain and trap, and gave me an estimate for $13,000 emergency service (or $10,000 if I could wait until the next week). Thinking it could be worth another try, I called a local plumber, Goodman. They snaked it from the inside and unblocked the clog. They said it didn't make sense to jet first in my situation and explained why you would snake first and then escalate. They charged me $165, and also gave me an estimate for the repair job that was less than half of Zoom's. Though I didn't end up using them, it was at least in line with what I now know is the normal price. The application of the $563 to a $10,000 bill would still have been around $6000 too high! Now, I want to mention that the Zoom workers seemed very nice. Maybe they're just following instructions from the company. I just don't appreciate the practices of a business that seems to take advantage of the customer's desperation in an unfamiliar situation to upcharge them and overcharge them, at least judging by my experience. UPDATE: Zoom Drain has apologized for my experience and refunded me the full charge. I have adjusted the letter grades accordingly.

The Zoom team consisted of two individuals. Looked for the blockage close to where the problem was reported. At that point, they could not find the source of the trouble. They extended the search using a camera attached to a cable and found the problem near to the municipal sewer line intake. The problem is now fixed. Did a great job.

Great. Called and they came out the same day. Cleared the problem right up. The technician was Mark Sell -- he did a great job.

I worked for 2 days trying to clear my kitchen drain. I finally decided to call a professional, and I decided, based on reviews, to go with Zoom. The tech came, setup, cleanly, and took about 30 mins to clear out the drain. He flushed some organic grease dissolve down the drain and it seems to be all good. I thought it was priced about right. They also offer 30 day guarantee as well, so that was nice as well. Would use them again if needed (hopefully not)

Thanks to Zoom (Matt, Eric, and the team), they got my job done!! It did not go as planned as the ground was apparently hard and the cast iron line was thick and they had to dig two more holes than planned, but Zoom did an exceptional job and the clean up was tremendous. They were here for 2 1/2 days v the planned 1. They got the job done for the price they quoted. Thanks to Zoom for their professionalism and proficiency!

Zoom was out quickly to address the situation, however felt the septic system should be drained first rather than spending money to investigate the issue if it turned out to be the tank. I readily agreed. After the tank was cleaned, I called again and they were out the same day, early in fact. I had them do the jet procedure rather than the snake since it hadn't been done in the twenty years I lived here. That came with a scoping. The drain was cleared and he found a break at the wye that needed to be addressed. He used a different device to plant a flag for the pipeline repair people to fix the problem. I negotiated the cost with the fellow that came out to estimate the job after doing the excavation to the pipe myself. The flagged point was exactly where the break was. The prices was reasonable and I had them do the job. We arranged for the team to come out in late afternoon and I got a call that they could be there even earlier. Back in business and very thankful.

They used high pressure hose to clear debris. They scoped the drain and showed it to me. I felt confident that the price was reasonable and the job was done.

The service level for Zoom is by far the best. They are accomodating, polite and very fair. We have used them three times and all three have been an excellent experience service wise and the work was done properly as we have had no issues since.

They charged us $255.00 to do the work. While I thought that was pretty steep for what they did, they were very punctual and professional and did a good job.

they came in at the cheapest price and they took care of everything without issues. charged a flat rate that was cheaper than everyone else's starting rate, which only included first 3 hours.

I was very satisfied with the service. It's been about 2 months and everything is still fine. I'll be waiting to see how it is in a year.

They made me an appointment on Saturday January 21 at 10:00 AM to assess the problem and give me an estimate. The tenant waited for hour and a half before calling me because they were not there. I called them to see why was the delay and they told me they were late, but my turn was next. The never showed up. My tenant had to ask a friend to be there the next day (he had to travel) and after a day of delay, Zoom gave me an outrageous estimate of $420. I paid $200 in the past for the same service, but I was so embarrassed about the trouble they caused my tenant that I decided to pay it and eat the over price. When I told them that I had an Angie's List 10% coupon, they said that that is an Angie's List ripp off, never heard of and won't honor it. Never again!

We called in the morning and Juan arrived at noon. He was here almost 3 hours. Initially, he thought he could get through with his regular motorized snake and he also said he'd have to replace the trap and the arm as it was welded to the pipe. The cost for both was to be $347. He worked for 2 and a half hours, replaced the trap and arm, though he had to cut through the old tiles to reach the T on the stack. He cleaned the connection from the second sink and was able to break through everything in the main pipe up till about the last 6 inches. There it was rock solid. So he had to go to a larger snake which upped the cost, but did the job without breaking the pipe. He substituted the cost of the large snake for the cost of the smaller one instead of charging for both and gave us a 10% d/c so we were pleased about that. It was a tough job and he persevered so we shouldn't have any further problems.

Fortunately, I was able to hire Fabrizio's Super Rooter who was able to clear my line at a reduced priced.

I can't say enough good things about Zoom. Other plumbers wanted to put in a new sewer line, but using 2 different technologies, Juan Carlos, was able to open it up at a fraction of the cost. He did it same day and patiently took 5 hours to get it clear. He was extremely professional and explained things along the way. This was a terrific experience and they have become my go to plumbers.

Great! Started with the most basic service to see if that would work with the assurance that all of the cost would be credited to more advanced service if it didn't work. Drain was cleared with the basic service and has been good for months.
