Very good. I am very happy with end product. John created a beautiful plan - he proposed the plan on paper with architectural renderings -very impressive proposal. Johns team from Plymouth Nursery then executed the design perfectly. My patio, gardens and walks are the envy of my neighborhood With lighting that creates a spectacle after dusk!

This was a big project and Plymouth did a terrific job! The landscaping and hardscaping looks better than we could have hoped for. We would definitely recommend John to anyone.

Joe DiJiosia and his team from Plymouth Nursery did a great job with our project. Joe came out to our house twice before the work started and gave us very detailed plans and answered all of our questions. The workers were very punctual, very neat and did a beautiful job! Joe kept us informed every step along the way. We are very pleased with the final product and have received many compliments from our neighbors! We are very pleased. They provided a detailed full-color rendition of the materials and plan prior to starting the job, and were very flexible to accommodate our vision. The crew was punctual, very polite, and diligent. When the job was completed, I must say it exceeded our expectation, as I never envisioned this house could look so special! I'm looking to engage Plymouth again shortly for some more work on our property.

We contacted Joe in May regarding a patio that we wanted installed as well as drainage problems we have in our yard (the low point of our property was right near the foundation in the corner of the house). He quickly responded and set up a meeting to discuss our problems and look at the yard. When he came for the estimate he answered all of our questions and described in detail what work would be done. We found the price to be comparable or cheaper than other estimates we received. Due to his workload and the very wet spring they were unable to complete the work until the end of July, but he was very upfront about that at our first meeting. When the work began his team was fast, complete, clean, and unobtrusive. They completed the job to satisfaction within 5 business days and Joe made sure he came after a week or two to ensure everything was ok. We would definitely hire them for future work.

Joe kept me informed as to the timing of the project, and communicated with me frequently as the work was being done. The crew were terrific - professional, helpful and they left the work site neat at the end of each day. I am now enjoying my new patio with built in firepit, sitting wall with lighting, new sidewalk to back deck with edging to tie everything together plus a separate landscaped area we co-created to attract birds. Beautiful!

Talked to the business. Supposedly was on their schedule. But nobody ever showed up or called to let me know why.

Joe DiJiosa and his crew did an excellent job building the patio, placing stepping stones and landscaping. It was a pleasure to work with them. The decision to hire Joe was based on the digital image of the patio, professionalism, reasonable estimate and reviews.

The job went extremely well. I was very pleased with the results. The crew were very professional and cleaned up perfectly when the job was complete. I would highly recommend them to anyone who may be considering any work at their homes.

We gave a deposit at the end of June with a promise of starting at the end of August. In Sept we called to check on the start date. Because of a wet summer, all work was delayed. Our project finally started Oct 23rd and finished Nov 17th. Workmen were neat and did a professional job. The work included removing old concrete patio, old landscaping around the patio (including a tree), preparing the ground, and installing a new patio with walls, and new landscaping around the patio and adjacent to the house. Once the project got going, work was done weekdays except for rainy weather. We are very happy with the result.

It was such a pleasure to work with professionals like Joe and the crew employed by Plymouth Nursery. We hired them primarily due to overwhelmingly positive reviews on Angie's List, and our own experience matches well with the other positive reviews. During our first meeting, Joe worked with our initial thoughts and helped refine our thinking about the project. He reassured us that they had experience with many similar projects. We also explored some more extensive landscaping options with Joe, and he thoughtfully convinced us that these ideas were going to be much more difficult. We appreciated his candor and forthright assessments; other contractors may have plunged ahead, and working with Joe I felt like we were able to make more informed decisions. The crew that performed the work was spectacularly good. They were prompt, skilled, and courteous. We were impressed with their work ethic, craftsmanship, and professionalism. During the project, there was only one day (early on) that the crew did not work on our project because they needed to do some final work on another project. We were clearly informed about that at the time, and otherwise they were on site every work day. The crew cleaned up the site at the end of every day, neatly storing their equipment and tidying up the area, even blowing the rock dust off the siding and rose bushes. The project took several weeks, but this was reasonable and expected because it was a big job. The result was a wonderful new outdoor living space for our family, much nicer than we had before. A word about the price: The "B" grade we gave Plymouth Nursery should be taken with advisement. We spent a lot of money on this project, hired Plymouth Nursery based on reviews and our discussion with Joe, and wound up with a fabulous back yard. We did not comparison shop. Could another contractor have done this job for less money? Maybe so. But in our opinion, it was worth the money to have the job done by professionals in whom our trust proved to be well placed. We recommend Plymouth Nursery without hesitation.

His guys came on the appointed day and worked quietly and efficiently. They were at our house for two days. They trimmed all of the shrubs very neatly, put down landscaping fabric and mulch, replaced a dying boxwood, and repaired the back steps. (I want to say here that Joe's firm did not install the back steps; they were done incorrectly by another company several years ago and they've never been good, but Joe's crew was able to make them better.) At the end of both working days the crew cleaned everything up thoroughly. I would definitely hire Plymouth Landscaping again.

Did not respond to request for estimate

We had Plymouth come out to quote us on a patio (deck removal, some yard grading). They showed up a half hour late and only notified me of being late when they were already 10 minutes past due. Then he asked us to share the plan from the other company vs coming up with his own plan from the start. When we said we also needed some grading and fixing a drainage pipe in the yard he looked at us like we were crazy. He was supposed to send us the quote and we never received it, therefore did not use them. I realize it may not have been the largest job ($11k - $18k) but if you don't want the business don't lie and say you'll quote us and then just flat out not respond. Poor business methods in my opinion

This is the second time we have hired Joe and his team. This time we needed some flower beds landscaped (remove and replace old overgrown trees and plants) and others cleaned up, along with mulching of our entire property. They did a great job as always. We will definitely hire again when needed.

The end result is beautiful. It is a combination of trees and evergreens and really help hide the wall. Joe and his staff have been very responsive to all of our concerns. I would highly recommend Plymouth Nursery.

Excellent. the person with whom I dealt was Joe DiJiosia. He was very responsive, and very knowledgeable. He personally came to the house and walked property line with me, and listened to my ideas, and then gave me his ideas. He also personally came back two times for various reasons to be sure the project was moving along well. I had other quotes for less, and I shared them with Joe. he explained some of the differences between the quotes, and gave me good explanations for what to plant and what not to plant, and why, and provided various options to consider. He also was very easy to communicate with - phone, email, text. Very responsive no matter what method of communication I used. Final result looks great, with many compliments from neighbors. Very professional. Glad I went with them for the job. will use them again for next project.

These were not services that the company could provide but Joe responded quickly and professionally.

Great. Joe and his team were very knowledgeable and detailed. So detailed that when they were mulching, they picked up the small "fairy village" our little girls had made and carefully reset it back up after they finished mulching. Many others would have just slung the mulch and said, oh well. Not Plymouth's team. My wife actually saw them doing it and they did not know she was home. It is great catching people doing good things. I even called joe, the owner to make sure he knew what a good job his team did without him even being there. Also they regraded, over seeded and put straw down on the path from the equipment to back off the yard where the trees were planted. Very thorough and know what they are doing.

I ended up not hiring them as their price is very much higher compared to the other two contractors I reached out to.

They got back to me in a timely manner even though they couldn't help us.
