John and his team completed two major projects for my husband and I. We redid our back patio (about 6 years ago) which included substantially expanding its size, building a new stone wall, and all new hardscape and landscaping. Several years later the patio still looks beautiful and the landscaping has filled in. Family and friends often ask who completed the work and we are happy to share Plymouth Nursery! We have been so pleased with how it turned out. This past summer we rehired Plymouth Nursery and Landscape to complete our front walkway. John came right out to give us a price. The job was priced very competitively. Work was done in a timely matter and once again done beautifully and to our satisfaction. John of Plymouth Nursery and Landscaping and his staff were wonderful. They did a terrific job cleaning up my property and planting all new beautiful shrubs and plants. Also installed a system to help with my water problem. My property was in desperate need of a face lift and John and his crew came through. I would recommend Plymouth Nursery and Landscaping!

Great experience with Plymouth Nursery & Landscaping Co and John D. He designed the landscaping and hardscaping of the front and sides of my home. His workers worked for an entire week in 90+ degree weather until job was done. I am now getting so many compliments from my neighbors. We went from no urb appeal to the best house on out block. Plymouth did a nice job replacing the wiring of our existing outdoor lights around the pool area, and relocated the electrical mains for that same area to a new area that is much more accessible.

John was very responsive, polite and professional. Unfortunately, we did not contract with Plymouth Nursery & Landscape. The scope and cost of John's proposal was above what we intended to spend. However, I would consider a quote from him on future projects.

Hired the landscape arm to do a small patio expansion in May ‘23. Gave 50% deposit and was told the project would be done in 3-4 weeks. Immediately after that, communication became spotty to misleading, then unresponsive after doing minimal work as an important deadline was approaching. After it became clear they had no intention to complete the work, I asked for a refund, and was able to get the project completed by another contractor within one week. I have since taken them to small claims court, won a judgement and currently in the process of collecting the judgement and associated legal fees.

I’m happy with the end project. The reason it’s 4 stars and not 5, is due to some service delays and unexpected installation errors (which were addressed quickly and fairly). The overall quality of the work completed is quite good, and I’m happy to be able to actually use my backyard now. They were able to regrade my backyard and install artificial turf within a fair price and warranty.

The process and results were top notch! The Plymouth Nursery team helped turn a huge problem with our front steps and front landscaping into a huge value add to our home. Thank you!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!! I purchased a dogwood tree from them Spring 2022 that died within a year. I had explained to Lana that the area I was planting in gets full hot sun, and is located next to where a previous tree was felled.. was told "oh not an issue at all". Later found out dogwoods are not meant for full sun.. shouldn't be surprised as any questions I had she quickly referenced Wikipedia for answers. Charged me $250 for the tree and another $250 for professional install. Instead I got two guys that came out with shovels to dig the hole (I could have done that!). We immediately noticed one of the branches had a discolored bark and no leaves on it (compared to the other branches). We were told we shouldn't have any issues. We had an arborist come out twice, and both times said the tree was not diseased. However on his final visit, he confirmed the tree was dead, and that I was likely sold "a bad tree". I contacted Plymouth Nursery for a refund. Spoke with Anthony Piazza who denied planting the tree (even though Joe at Plymouth Nursery said they did), but was more than willing to sell me another tree from his company! The nursery said they offer a 6 month warranty on their trees (what could possibly happen in 6 months when the tree is still trying to lay it's roots?!?). Both companies said it wasn't their workers that planted the tree... Lana took my info down but never called to make things right.. $500 down the drain. Do yourself a favor and either buy directly from an arborist that knows what they're talking about, or try Holod's for flowers/shrubs.

Terrible... Poor communication, no showed repeatedly, no reply to emails, texts, always had excuses but they were phony. Did maybe 2 hours of work left the yard and front area a mess, didn't meet any deadline and there is no end in site. Fired them and went in another direction. Working to get my deposit back or will take to small claims court

Fantastic work by John and his crew! We hired Plymouth Nursery and Landscape Co. after seeking out multiple companies for our property needs. John's extensive knowledge, expertise and overall passion for plants made me feel like we were in very good hands. The entire process was thorough and yet allowed for additional improvising depending on our needs. Lots of credit to the crew, who worked in challenging weather conditions and handled the stone work, landscaping, lighting and irrigation systems with patience and skill. I appreciated having a detailed layout of our plans so we had a clear understanding of the project and all the materials/plants being used. I was able to give John a vision and he brought everything to life in a way I could have never imagined. I will admit that this project was quite expensive and we also added on to our initial bill. It was an expense that will further add to making our house our home--one that I am very proud of when I pull up my driveway. Thank you very much to John and his crew for the exceptional work! I'm confident we'll continue to use your services for years to come.

I am so happy with the work done by Joe and his crew Carlos, Arturo and Jose. Joe was very helpful from the start of my project to the end. He kept me up to date on the start date and once the work was started, the crew was prompt and respectful and professional. The work they did was beyond what I had hoped for and I would hire them again for my next project.

The work went very well and the product was fabulous.

We had an excellent experience with Plymouth Landscaping! We hired them to complete a deck removal and patio install, with some plantings around the perimeter. Joe and his team were always available to answer questions, and we had a LOT. Our yard is small and sloped and they came up with brilliant solutions in order to utilize the space we were working with. Jose, Arturo and Carlos were super knowledgeable, professional, cleaned up every evening before departing. I would highly recommend Plymouth Landscaping for your backyard projects!

Joe and his crew Jose and Carlos were great. Always on time and worked hard to get the job done on some pretty hot days! Joe visited our property to discuss our needs/wants and had great suggestions when we weren't sure of what we wanted. Lana at the nursery was a big help in showing us options for the garden. Joe picked what would work in the location. and the garden looks great. Joe suggested that we wait until the weather breaks to plant the trees we picked. A suggestion we appreciate because the cooler weather will give them a healthier start. Five stars for Plymouth Nursery.

Everything went well with this job, from when we initiated contact with the company's rep to the final day of work with the crew that came out. They were professional, clean, efficient and catered to my needs. It was a crew of three workmen and they were not loud or disturbing in any way. There wasn't a day that went by that they did not clean up after themselves. I requested that they dig up some of my perennials that I wanted to save to transplant and they were happy to help. I had used them for work in my front yard and because they did such a nice job, I called them again to complete the work in my back yard. I would highly recommend Plymouth Nursery for any hardscaping needs.

This was the fourth project with Joe Dijosia at Plymouth Nursery. He is always responsive and wants to do the project that fits my needs, giving sound advice along the way. His team, headed by Jose and Arturo, are professional, hard working and do quality work that lasts.

Plymouth Nursery did an amazing job transforming our outdoor pool area. We recently bought a house with a pool that was completely surrounded by gardened areas and a very old fence. We got three estimates and Plymouth Nursery was the most responsive and gave the most competitive quote. Joe developed a proposal, made recommendations, and communicated with us throughout the project. Our crew - Arturo, Jose and and Mauricio - was punctual, tidy and professional and their work is beautiful down to the smallest detail. At one point during the project there was a pause in work as we waited for materials. Joe made sure that the crew finished the main area around the pool so we could enjoy it while we waited for the materials to come in. We had a small issue with fencing towards the end of the work, but Joe was responsive and addressed the issue almost immediately. We now have a fully finished outdoor pool deck with a fire pit area and a black aluminum fence. While the crew was here, we added on another small job and again they did great work. From start to finish, Plymouth Nursery handled this project with professionalism and hard work. The owner, Joe DiJiosia, was readily available for an on site evaluation and we received a reasonable quote within a short time. Once the work was started, I was impressed with the hard work of the crew. Jose, Arturo, and Mario did an excellent job every day on the job and didn't leave without making sure the area was cleaned up. My patio looks great and I highly recommend using Plymouth Nursery.
