From start to finish, Plymouth Nursery handled this project with professionalism and hard work. The owner, Joe DiJiosia, was readily available for an on site evaluation and we received a reasonable quote within a short time. Once the work was started, I was impressed with the hard work of the crew. Jose, Arturo, and Mario did an excellent job every day on the job and didn't leave without making sure the area was cleaned up. My patio looks great and I highly recommend using Plymouth Nursery.

After having another landscaper cancel our appointment at the last minute, I called Plymouth Nursery & within a few hours John was at my front door. What started out as a front walk landscaping project turned into a total landscaping transformation including a slate patio with a stone seat wall and lighting. We are so happy with the design and workmanship. It fits in so nicely with the details of our home and the lighting is such a nice touch.

I have struggled with landscapers in the past as once the sale is made, there is minimal attention . PN was a pleasant surprise. John (owner) was involved from start to finish including several visits during the job. He has also been attentive to several small follow-ups. The landscaping work is very professional and attractive . My property required a fairly complex irrigation system solution. PN did an excellent job of addressing all challenges. Would hire again!

Joe, Jose, Arturo and Mauricio were all extremely professional, prompt and did an excellent job. Not only did they build an extension to our flagstone patio including a retaining wall, but they reset our existing patio as the previous contractor did not set it right. Would hire again.

Hired Plymouth Nursery and Landscape Company (0wner - John DiJosia) to do a large ($15k+) tree planting along a busy road next to our home. Prices were reasonable but as the saying goes ' you get what you pay for'. The customer service and delivery significantly declined after the deposits were made. Projected completed months after promised. We have a one year guarantee on the planting and it has been a nightmare getting them to replace trees that have died. Owner had the gall to ask for the business to maintain the property. Thanks but no thanks. Would not recommend.

It went GREAT! me and my husband are so very happy with the completion of the fish pond and beautiful landscaping. What a joy to hear the waterfall, see the beautiful, colorful plants and enjoy the fish. An awesome crew was there everyday to work on the pond. It was so much fun to watch them and learn about the pond. I have alot to learn now:). I would highly review John and his wonderful workers to anyone considering to put in a fish and or garden pond. Please say HI to everyone that worked on the pond.

I hired Plymouth Nursery after speaking with several neighbors who recommended this company. I met with John the owner and found him to be very knowledgeable and very professional. I moved into my home in November of 2020 and discovered that when it rained there was a tremendous amount of water that would build up in front of my front t door. John offered several solutions and I elected to address the drainage issue with a French drain solution around the front and side of the house . In addition Plymouth Nursery installed a flag stone porch and walk way with Belgium blocks as a border. Lighting was included in the package as well as new shrubs and plants. The team that worked on my property were very courteous and professional. John checked on the status of his team every day and kept me well informed. The end product exceeded my expectations and my family is very pleased with the final product. I found John to be honest and true to his word. I am very satisfied with Plymouth Nursery and would hire them again in a second . It is difficult to find a reliable contractor who provides detailed scope of work with itemized costs. John was great to work with and his team members cleaned the site every day. I had 3 quotes and Plymouth Nursery was the only contractor who provided an itemized scope of work and a company who I felt comfortable dealing with.

What the a crew of Jose, arturo, eber accomplished with truly a miracle. They spent two weeks working harder than any three-man I've ever seen. The end product was magnificent. it is truly a work of art. One of the three musketeers was truly a genius. He had always a ruler in one hand and a label on the other. Always had a bright idea / concept in mind. When I saw the end product, I truly gasped.

Joe and his crew were great to deal with. We wanted a complete overhaul of our landscaping and Joe made a plan and proposal that did exactly what we were looking for. We also needed a new retaining wall and some masonry around our window wells. All the work was done extremely well, and his crew was wonderful. Would highly recommend!

The consultation and estimate process were great. John's estimate was not the lowest one we received but since we were looking to replace a front yard filled with lilies, we knew it would not be an easy job and he persuaded us that he would get it done. John noted that a few lily bulbs might come up here and there and noted that the bulk of the cost would go into removal of everything that was currently planted in the yard. All of that sounded reasonable and John's team came out in early March before the growing season really started. Even though my husband and I were working from home, they finished up the job on the second day and left with that saying goodbye. Less than half of the time they spent at our home was dedicated to removal of plantings so I was a bit concerned. Most of the plantings were still in a dormant phase and they sent an email asking for information on what was planted where and received nothing other than requests for a review. Over the next couple of weeks, lilies started coming up by the dozens and soon hundreds. I reached out to John to let him know and ask if he could help remedy the situation but he only offered Roundup which we are not okay with using in our yard, plus many of the lilies coming up were immediately next to new plantings. We suggested that his team had not done an adequate job and asked if he could come and take a look. He refused and told me that his team did a good job and seemed unwilling to provide any additional service. After spending several hours digging out bulbs just below the surface, I contacted John again asking if his team could come and fix up the yard which had been completely dug up ruining the mulching and making it look messy. He agreed but never followed up or came by to add additional mulch. I would never recommend Plymouth nursery to anyone, and my only advice to anyone who does decide to work with them is to be very clear about expectations and demand a final walk through before the job is considered done. My husband and I invested much more money than we had planned to spend on a very disappointing job.

I was totally satisfied with the workmanship and quality of the finished job. However, job was done about one month later than originally estimated. Also, I was pleased that they met a lower estimate from another contractor. Would definitely use again.

The crew did a wonderful job. Joe was on-site frequently and took are of any concerns I had. The crew was pleasant and efficient. I would definitely hire them again.

This project went great! We worked with Joe for the initial estimate and design. He worked with our budget. Communicated well and with his team, Jose and Mario who also did a great job. They are hard workers and were detailed and got the job done. We are thrilled with the result!

I called Plymouth Nursery initially as they had done other work in our neighborhood. From start to finish John was great to deal with, both responsive and in providing suggestions for the project. The upfront design drawings were very helpful in deciding how to lay things out and as we went along we made several other changes, all of which we easily worked through with John. The team doing the work were very professional and did an excellent job. We’re delighted with the end result, particularly the quality of workmanship, and more than happy to recommend Plymouth Nursery.

Horrible experience! Buyer beware! My project was started two years ago (2018). I paid a deposit and work started. Then I paid the balance due as requested. Two weeks later, I learned that John Sheahan never applied for township permits although he had advised otherwise. Also, the incorrect fire pit was installed and I am unable to use. It took one year to get all that sorted out and now another tear later my project remains unfinished. I cannot get anyone to call me back to finish my project including the owner. The attached picture is the weed pit where the water feature was to be installed. I was promised landscaping, railing, grading, water feature etc. I do not understand how a business can be so deceitful to people buy taking money, not deliver, not communicate and yet remain in business AND be on ANGIE'S list? I set aside all my money for the project and will now have to spend money I do not have to get some type of resolution.

I’d like to recognize and thank Plymouth Nursery for the exceptional work they performed at our home. Joe met with me and proposed a design for our front yard. He worked with me to make adjustments to the plan to allow me to work within my budget. He and his team were extremely hard workers who responded to my questions and preferences. I couldn’t be happier with the final product!

AWFUL! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND NEVER SHOWED UP FOR THE WORK. I paid a big deposit on a big job. I was told it would be scheduled for the end of May. I received one phone call mid May saying they hoped to start the job at the end of the following week. Now, it is mid-June and I have left multiple phone messages at multiple extensions. No returned calls, No work done. I even went on Facebook to see if they were still open. They are and they are getting similar reviews to mine. I guess my next step will be small claims court to try to get my money back.

Do not hire ,worst customer service ever, at first very attentive but once John got paid and 5 of the trees failed to grow none of my calls were answered.I also spoke to the owner who said he'll look into it but never responded.Spend your money elsewhere.
