Dave is great -- very friendly, professional and responsive. Called him and he promptly returned my call. Scheduled the work within a week -- he was willing to come earlier, but I could not make it work. Showed up on time and immediately got to work. Quickly and competently replaced my old ceiling fan with a new one. Made no mess whatsoever. When he was finished, I asked him to take a look at one of the lights in a hanging fixture as it was not working. He did and got it working in short order. He did not charge me, which I really appreciate. I am planning to replace my outdoor lights and will call Dave for this work. Would highly recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Very good experience. We recently purchased our first home and we had a bit of updating to do that needed immediate care. Dave and his son came out and replaced four two prong electrical outlets in the bedrooms as well as a broken/wiring problem outlet in the bathroom. Everything was done very well and quickly at that. Priced seemed very fair and quality was great. Would highly recommend to anyone.

He arrived on time. He helped me decide which wall would be the best location. He hung the tv on the wall, cleaned up after the job was completed. Worked around my schedule Was very professional. Would definitely use this service again. I was very pleased with him and the job.

It went fine. There was nothing particularly complicated about it. He did give me some excellent advice about a few changes I was considering. The list was long and as we went along I added a couple of items so he will be coming back to do more work in the near future.

The first time I called Dave, I needed to fix a problem that I created after doing some DIY projects (changing light fixtures, outlets and switches). Dave spent a considerable amount of time trouble shooting the mess I had made. Once he found the problem, it was fixed withinminutes. I can tell you now that I was not charged for the full amount of time that it took Dave to pinpoint the problem that I had created. I was so pleased with him, I called him several weeks later for a second project which was to wire the electrical and connect the thermostat for a heated flooring system that was being installed in a master bathroom. Once again, everything was done top-notch. Without question, I will continue to use Dave Marks from Holly Electric for my electrical needs.

Dave and Brian were great. They arrived on time and were prompt and thorough and took the time to answer all questions that I had; not only questions I had about the items they were working on, but other things throughout the house.

We thought Dave was just coming over to give us an estimate but he did the work immediately and completed the work in less than an hour. And his bill was much less than we expected.

We contacted Holly Electric because they received great reviews on Angie's List. When I contacted them I explained that my wife and I both work, and that if they could not come out on the weekend that we would have to take time off, so punctuality was very important. We also explained that we wanted to get work some other work done (plumbing, furnace, etc.) and wanted to coordinate to get as much done as possible in one day. They were understanding and respectful, and didn't make us feel like we were being difficult, even though we were to an extent. They were good at communicating with us about the schedule, and if they weren't available to take my call, they called back in a reasonable amount of time. They ended up coming out on a Saturday, but I don't think they keep weekend hours regularly, perhaps only if they are really busy because they didn't mention it initially. So, two of them showed up on time, did their work, explained the work, answered all of my questions, and left us very happy with the result. Since my wife and I were very busy, we did not have them come out for an estimate. Since we were not having any complicated work done, an approximation sufficed. We budgeted $500 for the work, and it came out to be significantlylower than that. Dave also promised us that if any of the work they did gave us problems, we should give him a call and he will come out and fix it without additional charge. I hope we never have to test his promise, but judging by the reviews this company has received, I feel I can trust his word.

I felt Holly Electric was fabulous. He showed up on time and took the time to explain everything. He came back with what he needed, repaired everything in an efficient manner and I felt he was very confident. The price was more than fair. I would give him ‘A’s across the board and use him again in the future.

He was easy to work with and did the least amount of work possible to save me money. He did not try to upsell me anything.

Overall Dave is a professional, honest businessman.

There were no issues with Holly Electric's work, on-time performance, promises, and quality of work. it is great to have a local electrician who does the job right the first time and knows what he is talking about.

Mr. Marks came promptly the day after we called regarding an odd power outage in certain parts of the house, and he determined that one of the breakers needed to be replaced, which he did. He was concerned however that the box had some other corrosion. Unfortunately, the replacement did not solve the problem and the entire box needed to be replaced due to corrosion. We arranged for his return 2 days later. He did the work professionally and, while no one wants to spend so much money on a major unexpected repair, we felt that in the end the price was reasonable. We would definitely use him in the future and recommend him highly.

We use Dave Marks regularly for our electrical problems. He is a pro, is very nice and professional, and he knows what he's doing. Hes' even willing to explain things to my husband, who is trying to learn what he can to deal with smaller electrical issues around the house. On this occasion, Dave and his assistant came over to look at some very bad wiring in our kitchen. They opened up the electrical outlet that had been drywalled over in the ceiling so we could install a ceiling light. They fixed the wiring so all of the light switches worked together. The installed a new light switch.

Dave Marks is professionable, knowledgable and an all-around good guy. We got his name from Angie's list and were impressed with his high reviews. There is a reason for that - you will be pleased if you hire him. Dave quickly returned my initial phone call, came before his estimated time frame of arrival (he did call first to see if it was okay), and worked well with his assistant Dan to make sure everything was done correctly and completely. I thought his pricing was very reasonable. We are already planning on having him come back and install recessed lighting in our house.

The whole process was a pleasure. They got along with my very large enthusiastic Newfoundland and they did a fabulous job. I would definitely call them again.

we have used dave marks at holly electric before at our home. they are trust worthy and always on time amd very knowledgeable in the electric field and believe it or not he and his helper a.j. fixed our computer and another time our t.v.for the job above , we gave him the key and he went to hatfield did the job and returned the key. we would use this company again. patricia and william pugliese. may work name is pat lee and am registered as so at angies list.

Dave was excellent. He came when expected, completed the work in a professional way. Cleaned up after themselves. You can tell they have been in business for quite awhile. They are attuned to what customer's generally request. I am very happy with the work. Everytime I open the light in that closet, it makes me smile.

The first project was $1,400. The interaction was really good. The guy was straightforward and very professional. He didn't make fun of some of the electrical things I had done myself and screwed up. His price was middle of the road. I believe the price has to go with the quality of the job. He was very quick. For the last job I called him on a Tuesday and he was out on Thursday. He came right on time. I?m going to call him within the next two weeks to do more work.

Dave came to the house the next day from the initial phone call and looked at the situation,e-mailed a proposal and a selection of available dates the very next day. He came at exactly the time he said he would and made the switch with minimal inconvenience,as it was a cold day. Dave was very professional, very personable and I would definatly use him for any further electrical needs!
