You get what you pay for. Get another company if you want quality windows. Also, they have different grades of windows and I bought the most expensive (double hung glass, filled with gas & tint) which were about the same price of the better companies. Window World has great reviews because they (window world) call you a week after the work is complete and ask very specific question always with a "yes" answer. ( Were your windows installed? "Yes" Not, were they installed correctly? ) The windows are new and everything looks and works good. As you can see I'm writing this review almost 2 years after getting the windows. To start the windows arrived and a window crank and several screen fasteners were missing. Nearly 2 years later I have not received the parts to correct the problem. I have to take the crank from the bathroom to the bedroom to open the window. Now to the windows. To be straight the windows are OK although one of the windows was fogged between the glass during our first cold spell this fall. In the coldest weather the double hung gas filled windows are only somewhat cool to the touch keeping the cold outside. All of the windows seem to seal well when closed. It appears the installation seems to be the biggest problem. After 4 months the inside window trim began to separate from the window leaving a 1/8 gap around parts of the window. The trim is really cheap and the adhesion doesn't work. Now the outside air leaks around the windows and into the house. Again the windows are not leaking, the air comes in from between the walls or from the outside. Regardless I shouldn't have cold air blowing into my house after paying 3000.00 for a few windows after less than 2 years. I'd use another company next time.

The install took longer than expected (3 days instead of 2) but the crew was very professional. They cleaned up each day after completing work. And the work performed was excellent. They needed to remove and reattach the shutters too - they are installed better than before. So far (and it's only been a week) the windows look beautiful and no leaks or drafts. We had one screen that had a small cut in it. It was noted on the after install report filed. I received a call from the office within two days and they have scheduled a repair already for Monday 11/24 (so from my perspective - good response). I hope and expect not to need any other service for a long long time.

It has been 13 weeks, and I still have no windows for my home. They told me it would now be Dec. 9th.

They called and said they had to load a truck and would be late. Work went okay.

Windows installed in 120yr old house. We had Bud and Keith install 10 windows in our house replacing very old windows with ropes and weights in them. There were a few tricky windows with mullions in them but they did very well. They used a good bit of silicone around the windows to ensure a tight seal. Let's just say our old house is not square. All in all a great and clean job, friendly installers, nice salesperson (Don Doogan) and efficient work! Even squeezed us in a few weeks earlier to do a cancelation (Thanks Rose).

Bud installed new windows and removed the old ones (5). He did the job in a professional manner and arrived timely.

No problems to report. Did a great job. After a year or so, some of the caulking pulled away from the joints. I called and they came right out and fixed it.

I must admit I was a bit skeptical at first of Window World - being the 'inexpensive' window provider. We were referred by a neighbor who had an outstanding experience, and we gave them a try. To jump to the end, I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed. Matt Teddy was our sales rep - we explained what we were doing, he gave us our options, made some recommendations, but was not high pressure or tried to upsell. He was spot on time, and made the process easy. We then received several calls to schedule the measurement - the calls were always very courteous, and they worked around my busy schedule. The measuring went smoothly. Then the installation - Mike Brough was the install lead with another gentleman. They again worked around my busy schedule, offered that I could not be at the house if I had other things to do and they would lock up (but I did stay). They were courteous, personable, and very professional. They did an excellent job, were very efficient, and were very mindful of the mess that was made and made sure everything was perfectly cleaned up (even outside). The whole experience was simple, easy, and affordable, and the windows look great, and are of high quality. i was impressed and would use them again.

It turned out fine. I didn't have any problems other than the support they used under the windows. They should have used pressure-treated wood as the windows were in the basement.

They came and gave us an estimate right away. They got all the work done in one day. The work was really good. They took care of some windows that had water in them. Thy were all very polite. We are going to call them to do the rest of the windows this year.

Window quality is very good for the price paid. Installers were on time, but did not take off their shoes and tracked dirt into my house.

Price was reasonable, but wait time for windows was much longer than the sales person originally stated. They also did not contact me when my windows came in. You have to follow up with them to make sure things are being done.

Took too long for two windows (3 months from ordering to installation), left message and no one called me back. "I HAD TO CALL TO SEE IF THE WINDOWS WERE DONE, THEN THEY SCHEDULED ME."

Contacted WW because I had business with them before and the experience was good. The salesperson came immediately and showed me my options to meet my budget. Within a week an employee came to measure the windows. They estimated about 6 weeks before the windows could be made and delivered. Their representative called in less that time. two installers came in the morning as announced and replaced the windows in less than the time estimated. The job was complete to satisfaction. The windows seemed to be installed correctly. They look nice from inside and outside. They did drop one of the old windows to the ground and left glasses behind. Same with some debris from their materials and old windows on the street.

Good, very professional, no snags, installed efficiently

Overall, they did an average job. We had two issues. When the salesman came out, our order was either manufactured or ordered wrong. Therefore when the windows arrived to our home, they were not the correct size. The windows had to be re-orded. This pushed the completion time frame back from the promised 10 weeks, to a total of close to 4 months. The installers were incredibly pleasant and polite, but we felt they left a little more residual damage than expected. For example, this included chips in our ceiling from the windows they installed. A tile wall in our bathroom also had to be repaired due to the damage from window install. They did have the best price out of any of the estimates we received from other window companies. Again, we know accidents and mistakes happen but this caused our review of Window World to be average.

The company representative visited the sight to talk about my options. I signed the contract and there after Window World scheduled installation time with my tenant. Once the windows were ready, installation went smoothly and they did a good job.
