They were very good, they got the best windows out there. I had some issue with Thermo Twin, and so I got Window World to replace my windows, and it was great since then. I got the best service from Window World.

Make sure the salesman writes up the contract for exactly what is wanted and the "measure man" knows also. Had a misunderstanding about my windows and it is not what I wanted. The manager came to my house and he was the most professional of the bunch.

Still waiting for installation. They advised at time of order that it would take at least seven weeks for the windows to be made, so I'm still in that time frame

The young man who did the work was very experienced despite his age - he said he was "from the Amish" & had been doing the work since he was 14. He did the whole job by himself - no helper. He replaced 8 windows in one day & finished after dark, when it had started to snow. he was very polite & careful to clean up as he went along & after the work was done.

Went well overall. Had to have a return trip due to scratches on 2 new window panes & 1 defective window frame from manufacturer. Also had to have 1 window reinstalled so could lock properly. Installers cleaned up fairly well after work completed. Original salesman did not do a hard sell.

There were issues with the initial installation. Some of the finish wasn't quite professional looking, Debris in the yard. We contacted Window World about the issues and they were extremely helpful. The manager came out and took a look at all the issues personally and sent a second crew out to fix the issues. The second crew was amazing they really took the time to make the windows right. I was extremely happy with the finish. I would use them again.

Installed windows July 15. Installers informed me that someone forgot to order inside trim for around all the windows. He told me the office would call me when the trim was in and they would come install. Its now November. Still no trim and no office call. On the cold nights i feel a cold draft from the edges of my windows. Two windows i can see daylight around. One window my wife can not physically open due to the tightness. Last week I left two messages for my salesman Wayne Stock (no call back) Then I called office and talked to install manager. He apologized and said he would call me later that day to setup a install date asap to resolve. Ironically made no mention of having to order the mystery trim. That was last Friday Oct 30, no return call. Today I call and asked to talk to store manager, receptionist said he was on the road and had bad service and asked if he could call me at lunch time today (nov 5) to discuss my issues etc. Guess what, no call back from him either. Im in sales for a global company and If i treated my customers this way, not only would i be unemployed, I would be a waste to any company that hired me. I have no time for people that will not return messages when I am a unhappy customer that bought a premium priced product. A salesman/company should be as involved after the sale as before it. So now I have had leaking windows through the summer cooling season and into the heating season, and no one at Window World seems to be concerned. Ironically Ive only paid half my bill, because the contract states I dont pay balance until job is done. you would think that would motivate someone to come resolve this, and save a customer from having to leave an honest bad review. My next step if I hear nothing is notifying the BBB, and then my attorney to go over options of having the windows removed at their expense and get a reputable company come do the job right the FIRST time.

I guess we thought the product was better during the presentation. It seemed like it was the best one. We were satisfied with the product and the installation. We had a little problem which took a long time for them to resolve. But they did resolve it and we were satisfied. Pricewise they were about the same as everybody else. That was not the factor. The response was fair, but we did get it resolved.

The quality of the product they use is pretty good at a reasonable price. The installation was also pretty good with a few exceptions. However, the workers always showed up late and a number of times didn't show up at all. When we called to find out why, the company didn't even know they hadn't shown up. This happened a few times. The workers also damaged a number of things during the installation that the company has not paid for. I've been calling and e-mailing for months with little to no response. This lack of response makes me believe that their lifetime warranty will also have little value. My next step is to open a complaint with the BBB. We'll see if that helps at all. If you do decided to use Window World you should absolutely not give them final payment until the job is done to your satisfaction. If they get your money they won't care about your concerns. Jan - 2016 update: after about 10 months of e-mails and a BBB complaint Window World did finally fix the remaining issues and reimburse me for the damages during the installation. It took far too long, but in the end they did make it right.

Don Dugan sales rep took order wrong initially. Was discussed over the phone with sales rep Don Dugan two days later. He said that changes could be made, no problem. He had amnesia regarding the conversation, so the wrong order was placed. No one called me to tell me that the order was in, I had to call them to find out that the order was sitting at the store. When I found out that the wrong type of windows were ordered, no one at the company would take responsibility for the mistaken order, they said that they don't make mistakes and that Don Dugan the sales rep doesn't make mistakes. No one called to set an installation date. I had to call them. They said that they would call to confirm the day before. No one called, I had to call them. They said that someone would be there at the appointed time because I had to leave for work in the morning. No one was there at that time, therefore I had to leave my house with the door unlocked or not have the install done. They said that the order would be installed around 8 weeks. I paid $1200 on June 6 and the windows were not installed until September 16. Window World didn't communicate with me about my order being ready to install or to schedule an installation or even confirming the installation time. The order was not what I wanted. It took months longer than the time stated at the time of the order. Unprofessional, patronizing "customer service". Unlike any customer service I have ever experienced. No one offered anything in terms of making the situation right; they insisted that they don't make mistakes, even when I produced the proof of the phone call that was made with the sales rep. They asked if I had recorded the phone call, that was the only way they could know what we had discussed (?). I don't think any women work there except to answer the phones. It's an old boy network where no one is accountable for what they do. Do not sign a contract with them. There is nothing in the contract that protects the consumer, from mistakes in the order, to quality of work, to time of installation. I wish I had read the contract more carefully and not signed with this outdated, unfriendly company. Never never never again.

The ordering process went smoothly. The sales person was nice and professional. The windows arrived in roughly the amount of time they had told us and they even accommodated a switch from a regular to a garden window. The poor service all started on the installation. Window World obviously contracts out the installation process. I would imagine your experience in this phase totally depends on what crew that you get. For us the crew seemed most interested in getting in and getting out as quickly as possible. The windows themselves looked good, however there were significant gaps at the seam of the window trim that needed caulked (it looked really shabby with a giant gap where they had popped out the old windows) When I approached one of the crew about it, he literally said that they would do it for me because I had asked nicely. When I inquired about this further, he replied that when homeowners are not nice or do not ask politely, they don't do it and simply say that they are not required to do the caulking around the trim. Thankfully I was in good graces with him and he took the extra 5 minutes to do the caulking. On the garden window installation the trim was totally done wrong. A 3" trim was placed where a 5" trim was needed, and there is a terrible odd looking border of unfinished drywall that is a different level from the surrounding drywall. I was away from the house when this occurred and the installers had left when I returned. After talking with WW customer service 1 day later, the rep said they would get the right person contacted to correct it. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything back, I called the local office. They didn't seem aware of the first call and said they would send someone out. Several days later an employee came to our house and reviewed he work. He was very surprised with what he saw and agreed they would fix it. He came up with a solution and said it would be fixed soon. Again 2-3 weeks went by, and we heard nothing back from Window World. I made a call and spoke with the worker who came to our house. He apologized and admitted that he should have called sooner to let me know they had to order the trim and that it would be in soon. Another 2 weeks or so passed, and I still hadn't heard from him again. I made another call to their local office and the customer service rep said she would talk to the correct person right away and get back to me. I had the impression that she would call back either later that day or the next day. It has been another 3 weeks since then and still no response. I am very disappointed that after over 2 months the issue hasn't been fixed and there has been extremely poor communication and service. I am hoping to still to get this resolved.

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company. We signed our contract on June 6, 2015. The installation was pushed back until October 1, 2014 due to "overwhelming contracts they couldn't keep up with reproduction at the warehouse." On October 1, 2014, everything seemed to go as planned. The installers were fine and went about their business, overall look about 8 hours. As they were leaving, the contractor took my husband and I into the kitchen to show us how the windows worked. This should have been my first clue; however, as new home owners, we are learning the hard way. After they left, we discovered three of our marble window sill were broken. Two of them were shattered and semi-glued together. One looks as if a bowling ball was dropped through it. We immediately contacted Window World and left a message. I also contacted our salesman, Wayne, who assured us we could contact him at anytime with any questions and he would be available. No one returned my calls. I continued to call and leave messages and two weeks later, Mike, the site manager came out and took pictures and apologized for the situation. He said he would be in touch within a week. No response. In November, I finally got ahold of Tony, another manage who said that he would check with Mike and get back to me. No response. Fast forward to February, we file a dispute through Wells Fargo. On February 19th Anthony Territo contacted me to observe the damage. It is June 11th and we still have not had our window sills replaced. Overall the Windows aren't bad....not great..but you get what you pay for. However, if you want to keep any sanity in your life go with someone else. I've heard great things about Richard Felser, Superior, and Champion. Go with them.

I am so disappointed in the customer service I received from Window World!! We purchased windows for our entire home in August 2014 and was told installation would take place in 10 weeks. At week 10 I had not heard anything so called to follow-up and they said windows would be installed on December 2, which was Week 18!! I tried working with the GM of the Robinson store, Tony Black, to push up the install date to the week of Thanksgiving when my husband was off work. He could not confirm the work could be done that week and then eventually just stopped returning my calls. Finally, I emailed Fred Moran, one of the owners of the company to get a return call. Fast forward to installation. One of the windows was mismeasured so they had to come out in January and install that window. Finally, the weather gets warmer and we walk around the house and notice Window World left a large storm window against the house. I called Window World three times and was told it would be picked up, emailed the GM with no response and then emailed Fred Moran, with no response. I should also mention this is the THIRD time we have replaced windows in our ENTIRE house - so this is how they treat repeat customers. We think the quality of the windows is fine, but the customer service is inexcusable. Window World...you will never get our business again!

The quoting process was very easy. They utilize a price sheet, so there is no guessing or haggling. If you want plane Jane windows with no bells and whistles, maybe you can get the $189 advertised price. I ended up paying about $400 per window installed, which I thought was reasonable. I ordered the double pane, argon filled, double hung windows in white. The windows were manufactured on time but the installation happened about a month after the original estimated date. They communicated with me the whole time, and I can't really hold this against them, as it's the nature of any home improvement business. The installation went pretty well. The guys could have cleaned up a little better, but it wasn't a huge deal. All in all I was satisfied. The only real complaint I have is that they reused the stops that were installed for the old windows, but they kind of beat them up when they removed them, so I had to sand them and repaint them. I would have rather they just used new material, but that's what you get when your trying to be thrifty. All things said, for what I paid, I am satisfied with the work, and will probably use them again later this year for some other rooms.
