Description of Work: WE PURCHASED WINDOWS AND SLIDING DOOR IN JULY 2014. THE INSTALLATION STARTED IN DECEMBER 2014. THE WINDOW INSTALLATION WENT OK, BUT THE SLIDING DOOR INSTALLATION WAS ONE PROBLEM AFTER ANOTHER. WE TOLD EVERYONE AT WINDOW WORLD THAT THE DOOR OPENING WAS BOWED, AND THEY ALL SAID THAT WAS NOT A PROBLEM. AFTER THE FIRST INSTALLATION, THE DOOR WOULD NOT CLOSE BECAUSE THE STATIONARY PIECE WAS BOWING. THEY THEN DECIDED TO REPLACE THE FRAME AFTER CONSIDERABLE TIME. THE DOOR STILL WOULD NOT CLOSE. THEY THEN DECIDED TO REPLACE BOTH GLASS PANELS WHICH TOOK PLACE ON MAY 1, 2015. GRANTED, THE WORK WAS DELAYED BY BAD WEATHER AT TIMES, BUT THIS TOOK WAY TOO LONG. SOME OF THE INSTALLERS WERE NOT AT ALL PROFESSIONAL AND SEEMED TO "HANG OUT" AT MY HOUSE. I'M PLEASED WITH THE WINDOWS, BUT DEFINITELY NOT THE SLIDING DOOR AND THE INSTALLATION. WINDOW WORLD WAS ACTUALLY AT OUR HOUSE ON 12 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS - ASSESSING THE PROBLEM OR WORKING ON IT. THIS IS NUTS.

Description of Work: We had 10 double hung windows installed. The windows came in two weeks ahead of schedule and they worked with us to get them in as soon as possible. The install was done efficiently and professionally. They look great and Window World was great! I would definitely recommend them and use Window World in the future.

Description of Work: My wife and I met with the WW sales rep in mid September and signed a contract for 20 new windows. I gave the salesman, Matt Teddy, a check that day for $4000.00 for down payment. We were told that day that the installation would be prior to thanksgiving in November. A week later, a technician stopped to measure each window. When I mentioned the November installation date he laughed and said that's not going to happen due to a shortage of installers. He said it would likely be December. |Then in late November , I got a call from Randall at WW stating the windows were made and ready but they didn't have enough installers and it could not be done until the1st two weeks of January! Another appointment was made for February 17th and18th. The forecast was for subzero temps and I agreed to a March 10th installation if he would deduct $400.00 for having my money for six months. All along, I was told that I would get a call from Tony Black, Operations Manager. That never happened. | |The windows were installed on March 10th and 11th. The installer team leader was Gary Anderson who traveled from Ohio each day to complete the install. he did a very nice job of prepping, cleaning up and getting the job done. He gave me a copy of the bill with the balance due, which I told him I wanted my discount agreed to by WW. HE could not help. | |Within 24 hours I got three phone calls asking for payment. I finally got ahold of Mr Black who stated the most he could reduce the bill was $100.00 regardless of the size of the job. He also explained something about a $200.00 line item on the bill for St Jude's, which was never mentioned until now, six months after signing the agreement. | |In my opinion, WW could be more truthful about installation dates when closing the sales. We moved furniture twice to accommodate the installation only to have to move it back due to their constant delays. My ratings reflect the frustration of waiting six months. I'll withhold judgement on the product until I see how well it holds up and if any corrections have to be made to the initial installation. |

Description of Work: Installed 10 replacement windows. One screen was damaged and it took way too long to get the replacement installed. I had to contact them 2 or 3 times before it miraculously showed up in their warehouse. Once it was there, it was installed quickly though. Other than the screen issue, I would have rated them A+

Had to finish in the dark & snowy conditions - no complaints. | |I had to have one pane replaced in April as it cracked from the very cold weather. Again, well done. |

Description of Work: they installed 11 windows. They were very professional, and cleaned up after wards. I just wish they could replace the trim work around the interior windows. My windows were old and that paint build up which chipped off . Other than that they did a great job.

Description of Work: Installed replacement windows for me. The people that I dealt with were courteous and answered any questions I had. The work was completed efficiently and any mess was cleaned up.

Description of Work: The wait time for the windows to be manufactured was too long for me. But, that is me. I guess there are people who don't mind the wait. And there was an additional cost for installation that I was not aware of from their advertisement.

Description of Work: Everything went as planned. Great service, price and installation. Wayne Stock, our salesperson, was excellent with explaining everything available with no pressure. Had a problem with removing a screen a few months later and a service person arrived and solved the problem. Would recommend.
