Squeaky Clean Clear Service

I submitted a request for the big deal which was accepted by Angie's List, but the company was overextended and could not provide the service anywhere soon.

The crew of two arrived promptly at the appointed date and time. I was a little surprised to see that their equipment consisted basically of a Bissell pet vac / steam vac of the kind you could get at any big box store. We have pets, so we get our carpets cleaned fairly frequently, and other providers we have used have always had some specialized commercial grade equipment that is capable of providing a much deeper cleaning than anything we could do ourselves. To be fair though, they have generally been a little more expensive as well. I purchased this service as a big deal, so at the price I'm happy as I consider it as basically saving myself the three hours of labor I would have had to expend on doing it myself with my own vacuum. If that is what you are looking for, then Squeaky Clean provides that service. If you are looking for a true "deep cleaning" of your carpets, a provider with a commercial grade extractor would be better.

They never showed up or called

They did a very nice job. The carpeting is a light beige in a high traffic area and they cleaned it very well. The product they used did not have a smell to it. Moving furniture was easy. They also did a good job with scheduling. They called and asked to adjust the time by an hour and a half and gave me enough notice on this.

They were diligent and hardworking. Spent adequate time on each room to deep clean and remove stains as needed. Was happy enough with their work that we had them clean 3 more rooms while they were here. I would contract them again and recommend them.

They came in and thoroughly cleaned my entire house prior to a move in and after some renovation was done to the house. They were professional and asked questions before using certain cleaning substances on my wall.

After waiting all day for the team to arrive I was able to reach him with a phone call. He said that he had taken ill and that he emailed me earlier in the day but that he emailed the wrong person. He was rude and disrespectful on the phone when I was explaining that I spent a lot of time removing everything from the garage and a lot of money paying someone to stay at the house all day.

I spoke with them very last minute and they were able to fit me in. They did a wonderful job dealing with a really big mess, and were friendly and professional. I would happily use their service again if the need arises.

Philip did everything right. He arrived on time, was very professional, and knew exactly what needed to be done. Cleaning products left a nice clean smell. Went above and beyond what was expected. Will definitely use again for big and small jobs.

We scheduled an appointment and they didn't show up (right after I purchased the deal.) I tried to call and their phone was disconnected. The phone was back on a few days later and I finally reach someone and was able to reschedule. And then they contacted me again saying they would have to change the day, so I schedule for 05/23 for a third time, and the night before they emailed me and said they wouldn't be servicing me, because they said they were leaving Angie's List.

Provider no showed today (5/27/2014) as agreed. When we called, they told us they would not honor our prepaid coupon and were no longer going to work via Angie's List. Google instead. Too bad for us and we had to request a refund today or would get nothing. No warning. No process to get a refund suggested. They just said: "We were not their customer."

There were several re-schedules and on the third try I decided to cancel. It seems the company was not large enough to handle the business they received.

The provider asked to reschedule and for my phone number. I never received a call and they never gave me a day that would work for them. After two more messages to them that were never responded to, I gave up and asked for a refund.

Although I requested the special three rooms or substitute one room for step, the provider stated the measurements did not fit the special. I was okay with not getting the steps cleaned. He did vacuum the step they looked shampooed . I was satisfied with the service.

I purchased this to get my house cleaned sometime within the next 2 weeks. I had to contact the provider twice to try and get scheduled. He finally tried to call me back at 1am and then sent an email that said that he might have a few availabilities next month (June). That is too far away, so I need to go with a different house cleaner. The provider suggested that I just get a refund for the $69. Thanks, Josh

Completely satisfied with their work.

Using the Angie's List email provided to set up a time, there was no response. Once I did get in contact with the company I decided I was not comfortable having them complete the work.

They contacted me quickly to schedule the appointment, then they rescheduled, but I haven't heard anything since then, so I canceled the order.

Arrived early: Went over target areas, They stared up stairs and worked thier way down. It didnt take long for the house to start smelling air-clean! Dusting was a big factor and they didn't miss anything. Bathrooms are very shinny! Friendly , fast.& professional! I will use this company for repeated Service.THANKS.

They came out this morning and had no extraction system; all they had was a carpet shampooer. I informed them that I had a carpet shampooer and I could do that myself. They explained that they didn't have it listed on the Big Deal that they don't have an extraction system. I informed them that this was not what I was expecting when I purchased the Big Deal and asked for a refund. They advised me to contact Angie's List to get a refund of that purchase.

I got an email from Squeaky Clean the same day I purchased it letting me know they don't service my area.

Definitely a one-man operation; the carpets were cleaner afterward, but the lack of professionalism was disturbing; I would never recommend these guys ( a thirtyish man and his very old uncle who did almost nothing) ro anyone else. This was my first disappointment with anyone on Angie's List.

Punctual and friendly. Phillip was very professional and timely. I would hire him again. If you are looking for a big truck with steam service, then look elsewhere. However, I am very happy with the service provided and have no complaints whatsoever.

. The crew came at 9:30 a.m. on April 30 and came in to work . I had to be out of the house, but my wife was able to be here to give directions or answer any questions. The deal was for three rooms and moving any light furniture which they did. This included our living room, dining room area and a spare bed room used as a computer room! We had another bed room, but that was not part of the special and they did not mention which I do not have any complaint! I do have a problem with the fact that when my wife asked about moving a couch or about the extra bed room, the answer she got was "Well what do you expect for $69.00"? First of all we are paying that amount for a $114.00 job and second they could have just said that is not part of the contract. I feel the comment showed a lack of professionalism! The cleaning was done well and I have no other complaint, but for that statement to my wife. Crew left at 11:00 a.m.

Pros: Very punctual, polite, went right to work. Nicely removed several spots on carpets by hand...hand cleaned along edges of baseboards. Did not try to upsell additional products. Cons: I think it is important for readers here to understand something so you can make an informed decision: I expected a professional carpet cleaning machine, the kind the firms like Stanley or Sears or Roth have based in their vans that have hoses to extend into your house. That is what the picture here looked like to me. They are the powerful deep cleaners, with the powerful suction that really gets out the dirt and leftover dirty water. This is not what these folks have. They arrived carrying a Bissell upright carpet cleaner, just like the one we already own and use on occasion. We use our Bissell off and on, but like to get the pros in once in a while for a real deep clean. This was not the case. Two of the rooms came out rather clean, one was quite streaked and I actually had to get out my own Bissell to finish it out. But I know that this clean does not last so long because the Bissells are just not as powerful as the pros have. The owner and his assistant were fine. They were limited by the machine they had. I will wait a few months and call in Stanley Steamer to do that really deep clean with the powerful extraction that leaves the carpets barely damp. Another con: He moved around some chairs, but failed to put any protection under the legs like other services do. Luckily I caught it later that night. Some of my chairs have wood legs with a little metal bead in the middle. That metal was rusting by sitting on the wet carpet. I had already started to get some rust stains on the carpet in one room. I was able to clean them by hand, and place small pieces of wax paper under the legs to protect from further rusting until the carpets dried. Note to Phillip on that...be careful....just little pieces of wax paper are needed if the furniture has any metal touching the wet carpet. Pro: We had had a new roof installed a while back, and realized that the attic was filled with shingles and dust that had come through during the replacement. The assistant went up and cleaned and vacuumed it all up with a wet vac. I went up after they left, they did a very nice job there. (Paid $45 extra, that was fine) Summary - I would use them again for certain, specific types of cleaning jobs. I myself would not use them for carpet cleaning with just the Bissell upright, although that may be fine for other customers.
