The service was great. Everything turned out fine, and there were no surprises. He did a good job, and he honored the coupon. I would recommend him.

First Class service. They inspected the Air Condition unit and provided valuable information regarding the age and condition of the unit. Would defiantly use them again in the future.

While the outside A/C generator had a small leak and required a refrigeration refill, I felt their menu of cost approach was a bit "bait and switch." No one likes surprises; so, perhaps the provider should have stated prior to the visit a repair menu from low to high is typically provided to cover a full gamut of service.

The workman arrived on the day and time scheduled and did a good job of installing the outside lights.

Cost a lot more than I expected. Cost $110 separately for the lights, paid electrician $300+ for service, then got charged on my VISA $99 by you. That's pretty damned expensive for a retired nurse.

I looked up the model of humidifier the deal included and could get it online for around $200. So the $150 in labor for the 90 mins he was there seems a little high, but sort of normal with him not knowing what he could run into. My furnace and hot water tank are very open and accessible which probably helped the installation. Humidifier was installed and tested. There was some air leakage and rattling from where he cut into the duct work and he adjusted to seal and quiet everything up. He went over how everything worked and how to adjust humidity levels, turn in on and off depending on teh season and how to replace the filters. He was knowledgeable, friendly and handled everything well.

Find issues with the air conditioner but unable to get it fixed at this time. Will definitely consider this company when the money is available to do the work.

everything went very well. the gentleman who came to our house was very nice and professional. However, I was very disappointed to learn that they were not going to check the ac system filter. every other provider has checked and changed the filter. (the cost of the filter was additional to the cost of service.) so now I have to make another appointment with a different provider to get the filter changed which seemed like it should be part of a "tune up." They offered to come back and do it for a service charge but I really thought it should have been included.

The jobs went very well. Bob and Jay came out to work on an Angies List Deal and did a terrific job handling three projects in an hour! They were careful, competent and knowledgable about their work. The old Fire Alarm system was built in when the house went up in 1964. Though no longer in use, the detection devices were never removed from walls and ceilings. Getting ready to paint, I needed them disarmed and removed, which involved cutting the wires as well. The new Ceiling Light in the kitchen gives me much better brightness, and putting up a better quality doorbell push makes a nice appearance. Two small changes that make a big improvement. While they were here, I asked Jay to provide me with bids for three additional projects on exterior lighting I need. There was a bit of a problem with scheduling as the original Friday appointment had to put over until Tuesday. Then the Tuesday appointment moved to later in the day. It worked out OK for me South Hills Electric previously did my Air Conditioning clean and check this Spring and also did a great job on that one - quick, clean and professional. I do recommend this company and would use them again.

Installation was accomplished in a very professional manner, they placed down floor covering drop cloths through out the home where they had to enter and exit. I am very satisfied with their work and will definitely use them in the future.

I purchased the big deal from Angie's List. I did some comparison shopping and they were a lot higher so I didn't choose to use them. I had them come over to give me an estimate on an air conditioner. They showed up and he did tell me that the unit was old which I was aware of. When I went over there to get my second estimate, they put stickers for their company over every single thing. They put them on the water heater, furnace and even the electric box promoting their business to upgrade our electrical service, upgrade our water heater and upgrade our furnace which I didn't like. The kid emailed me and said the furnace needs to be upgraded and here's what they could do. I followed up with an email and asked what the cost would be if I did the furnace and the air conditioner as oppose to just the air conditioning unit and he never responded to me. I didn't use them nor would I recommend them either. They were a great deal higher than the competitors. He looked at it and told me how many pounds of pressure it pushed out as oppose to what it was supposed to do. The quote seemed really high to me and I had somebody else give me a second bid. This was the first time I used them. He did follow up to me originally but he never responded to my emails. I didn't like the fact that they shamelessly plugged everything they could do with stickers and that was so uncool to me.

Went much better than expected due to the fact that my AC unit is very old. The Technician, Justin Terhune was professional, knowledgable, personable and informative. I will call them again for service and will certainly consider South Hills Electric when it is time for replacement.

The service rep explained to me what aspects of my AC unit need to receive maintenance, and why. He also pointed out what services or purchases to extend the life of the unit might make sense at that time.

The service went well. I thought they were courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend them. He ended up adding a little bit more coolant that what was listed in the deal and he didn't charge us for that because he needed to add a certain amount and that certain amount wasn't covered by the deal but he didn't charge us. The coupon was a good deal. They were really good.

This company was great to work with. They saved us a lot of money. Justin was very professional and courteous. They showed- up when he said they would and did a great job. They even cleaned-up after themselves.

The technician arrived on time and went right to work. We went to the basement and he informed me what he was going to do and after completing the job he then had me come down to the basement and showed me the completed project. He then turned on my furnace and tested the humidifier. I did notice a couple things after he left. He informed me prior to leaving that he had set the humidity on 35% and that would be a good setting to maintain. When I went downstairs and checked the basement I noticed that it was actually set at 45% so I turned it down. I also noticed that the setting that was supposed to be set for summer was set for winter. I also noticed when I went downstairs that he had stuck large orange stickers on my hot water heater, my furnace, and my air conditioner. These items are located right next to one another. I think that 1 sticker would have been sufficient. All in all I was happy with the work performed.

I purchased a $99 worth Big Deal coupon and I had to pay an additional amount. It went well. It was very good.

Installation did not go well. Everything that could go wrong did. Installation took 11 hours from start to finish. The owner eventually showed up to get things completed faster. Seemed like they were ill-prepared to make the installation, and everything went downhill from that point. They have since, been very accommodating to make the situation better.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was excellent. They called me to schedule the service, came in two days to do it and were professional; it was great. I had the work done about a week after purchasing the Big Deal. I have recommended them to people I work with.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. The service, guys and communication were all good, but the surge protector without the house being grounded is not effective. This was conveyed to me after the guy came out and did it. I did have them come back and ground the house for another $400. I wish the Big Deal had informed me that the surge protection was not as effective unless the house was grounded.

Justin showed up on time and quickly evaluated our A/C. He found that it wasn't breathing properly and recommended an acid wash & recharge (we bought the BIG DEAL recharge and eval originally). The work was done efficiently and within 30 min the A/C unit was functioning properly. Would definitely use these guys again - nice working with you!

The service was exemplary. He was on-time on both occasions. In fact, on one occasion the technician phoned to provide service earlier than expected freeing up the rest of my day. He carefully explained the problem and only charged for the service call. Excellent job!

We just wanted our air conditioner serviced. He went right to the furnace. We told him the furnace was ok. He said we had 3 or 4 cracks in the heat exchanger and we needed a new furnace as this one was not safe. (We just had the heat exchanger replaced 2 or 3 years ago.) On the paperwork he left behind with no mention of the cracks but the new furnace cost of $9,000.00 installed. We just had the furnace replaced with another company for $2,600.00. When it was replaced there were no cracks. The Air conditioner he stated we needed it to be conditioned and cleaned for $900.00 and that was only to guarantee it working for 6 months to a year. He recommended replacement. Another company has now checked it and it is fine - no need to have any service completed at this time. Would never trust a word from this company again! .
