It went just fine. No problems.

South Hills arrived on time, on the day scheduled and technician was courteous and did and excellent job of explaining the diagnostics that he performed as part of the inspection. Very thorough.

I wasn't home at the time of service, but my wife reports that the servicemen were very friendly and professional. They even put up with a ton of questions from my 3 year old. I'm happy we made the purchase and I believe they did a good job from start to finish.

It went well. We had them out for a couple of things. They were not able to fix an outdoor light. Overall, the experience was good. I would use them again.

He did ok. I ended up spending around $2600, He said I had water in my electrical panel.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine and I would probably do it again. They did not charge any additional. They didn't actually do any work.

It turned out great but I ended up purchasing a new furnace. They were very polite and quick. They were thorough.

I saw the price of the Big Deal and thought I would give it a try. I had priced this humidifier at close to $600, so it was a great deal. I scheduled for the day that I wanted it. He even called me to tell me he was running ahead of schedule and offered to come early. They told me it would take about 3 hours and when he came, he said it would only take an hour. He was in and out and I was so glad!

They were here for about an hour. They were on-time and in and out.

My experience with them went very well. It was one man. He called up in the morning, verified the appointment, and asked if he could come in earlier if I was ready for him. I did and he did. He came in, did the job very nicely, and it worked very well.

The deal was useful. The fellow examined our furnace and found that a capacitor was not as strong as it should be and he offered to replace it $213. However, we called our regular plumber and he did it for $110.

It was done by South Hills Electric and was easy to schedule. The technician was punctual and courteous.

My experience with them was great. There were no dislikes in the price and value. They were speedy. They were quicker than they had indicated they would be. They were top-notch with the quality of their work.

All over, it was very well done. They were polite, professional and explained what they were going to do. He showed me what they were doing. He did not try to sell me other stuff that was not asked for. It was what I expect out of somebody. It was well done. I would use them again.

Very responsive, came the day I called, tried to save me money at first, then they credited me $ and replaced the whole furnace. Boiler and all accompanying tanks and valves, bleeding radiators, etc. I was happy with the job.

The service tech, Justin was very astute and competent. He was professional and very courteous. Adam, the opertaional manager is very knowledgeable and helpful.I would not hesitate to utilize their services in the future nor recommend them to my friends and associates.

Everything went smoothly. Our technician, JustinTerhune, was very professional and knowledgeable. He efficiently went through the furnace inspection, which included carbon monoxide test. We appreciated his recommendations. He came on time.

Very nice young man arrived promptly on the agreed upon time. Informed me that my 24 year old furnace needed replaced and showed me an air meter registering the air quality of the inside of the house (I have never seen this before), and the numbers he showed me were bad (alarming for me). I called my husband at work and he said to get a second opinion, which the young man encouraged as well. My second opinion company came about 4 hours later and was one that I have used before (not thru Angie's List). Apparently, when the young man left from South Hills Heating he had hooked up wiring wrong on my furnace and set it to just run the fan and no heat to be dispersed throughout the house. Fortunately, it was a warmer winter day and I had not really noticed that because I was in and out of the house. Luckily, I did have the second opinion, and he fixed the wiring and the furnace continued to dispense heat into our home. The second opinion man (which only deals in Heating and Cooling) said there is nothing wrong with my furnace and we do not need a new one. He did not know anything about an 'air meter' that the young man used. I will not use this company again.

The electrician called on his way to my home and arrived on time. He was professional and friendly. He completed the work very quickly, while also giving me tips when I asked him a couple of specific electrical questions. I appreciate South Hills Electric for their prompt response to my purchase of their service on Angie's List and the professional & efficient manner in which they completed the job. I now know who to call when I need a good electrician!

The service technician, Jay, arrived within a few minutes of the scheduled appointment time and immediately went to work. He completed the 21 point inspection and cleaning in about an hour. He found no issues requiring immediate maintenance or repair, but did identify a printed circuit board that controls gas flow was beginning to act erratically. Instead of steadily opening and closing the gas flow valve when indicated, the valve would open and close rapidly in succession at times, indicating the circuit board was not functioning properly. Although not a safety issue, continued running of the furnace for extended periods of time without addressing the issue could result in full failure of the furnace to provide heat. Jay provided a cost estimate to purchase and install a replacement circuit board and suggested we have the work performed soon, which we will do. He acted in a very professional and courteous manner and provided a written report of his findings. We were fully satisfied with the work and are likely to use South Hills Electric Heating and Cooling again.

The installers arrived almost right on time. We were replacing an existing unit rather than installing new. After a short inspection, they informed me that I probably didn't need to replace the existing humidifier, that it would be my choice whether they put the new one in. Since I'd had problems with the one that was there two previous winters and the unit was installed before we moved in (23 years) I told them I appreciated their honesty, but I figured it was time to put in something brand new, which they did. | |The installation was done within an hour, and they called me to show me the basics of the system. In doing so, they found a slight problem with the summer shutoff valve in the duct which was adjusted to correct it. | |All in all, the service was neat, clean, professional, and I have enough confidence in South Hills Electric that I will certainly call on them in the future if I have any needs.
