Everything went fine. No problems. Tidy job.

Prompt, professional service. Roger arrived early and ready to work. He explained work clearly and installed several GFCI's quickly and trouble shot an electrical problem quickly. An invoice was received via email and he was able to quote another job before he left. I highly recommend both Roger and South Hills Electric. $119.00 for 2 hours of work is a fair price for a licensed electrician in the city.

Justin was there on time, was professional, answered questions, and our 20 yr old furnace might last another 2 years. Will hire again for any work needed.

He came to check the furnace and discovered a crack in the heat exchanger. The replacement quote I got was too high so I didn't hire them. Another company did it for half the price they quoted and I have had no problems.

It went absolutely perfect. He helped us to understand the function of our furnace, tested the components, the temperature, the air exchange and even provided additional services and help.

We took advantage of an offer for a discounted seasonal tune up and knew the furnace might need a new part to regulate the fan and the guys came out and did a very thorough inspection and advised us which way to go to cost effectively address our concerns. They were both super professional, polite and efficient! They even were running ahead of schedule and called and asked if it was convenient for them to come early. To make it even better we just moved to this house and didn't know how to winterize our air conditioner... they showed me how to shut it off and advised the best easiest way for the winterization to be done as a courtesy! I will be using them again and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

All three experiences with South Hills Electric have been excellent! The Service Techs were all very professional, they scheduled a two hour window for the service and then called to verify the time of their arrival. I had a different tech each time but they all were experienced and well trained. I would highly recommend South Hills Electric based on my experiences.

It went well. Opening an additional hole in the ceiling to drill thru a beam made the job go over 2 hours (the time in the Angie's Deal), but the electrician explained the issue and got approval before continuing. We had expected the job would take extra time and were prepared to pay for the extra hour, which was billed at the same rate as the 2-hour deal.

Fine. As Expected. Interesting findings

Good! The new fan is replacement to the existing fan which became defective. The old fan was removed but the stuffing box need to be replaced to suit the new fan. It is installed properly to match the sloping roof.

The guys that came for the install were professional and explained everything that they were doing. And again, took pictures for my records. I would definitely use them again.

The service was excellent, the technician was on time and very professional. The quality of the install was top notch as were the parts used. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

I started in October to hire them through Angie's list to do a number of things in our home until December. Anthony & co-worker & office staff were very professional & I would hire them again.

Very well....prompt service and advice; perfect workmanship; total clean-up afterwards; we actually contracted for a second job later for more light fixtures, with equally excellent job; second bid seemed too high in price compared to first job, so we negotiated.

Terrible. A guy came out. He cut holes in the ductwork, told me he was gonna do all of this, that, the other thing, send me of what was done and what needed to be done and I never got anything from him. I called him twice or emailed him twice. I said, "Hey, what about the email you were gonna send me about what was going on with my air conditioner?" and I never heard back from them. It was inexpensive but the guy... I waited a little while, probably not too long after the purchase. Follow up with what they said they were gonna do. They have to follow up and tell me what they thought needed done or what needed done. They just never got back to me with the the guy said they were gonna do.

The work was completed in a timely manor. A very helpful service when moving into a new house with an unlabeled panel.

Excellent, will use them for other projects. This is the first time buying a deal on Angie's list where I actually received what was advertised. There was no hidden agenda with this deal like there was with every other deal I purchased on Angie's list.

It went good - workers were professional and polite. One shade was accidentally broken, but the company took care of ordering a replacement part and made sure I was ok with the resolution. Accidents will happen - but I appreciated that they took ownership and responsibility for fixing themselves.

The man who installed the ceiling fan was excellent. The man who installed the hall light left padding sticking out of the base. He told me "you can just cut that out yourself". When the company saw my review they immediately contacted me, had a man out ASAP to fix it up. I would rate the workers at 50% but the company at 100%

It was great. They were really good. They were polite. Did the work and they were gone. I haven't had any problems.

It turned out that there was a loose negative wire that was causing the problem, which he found within the first 15 minutes. Since the deal was to have an electrician for 2 consecutive hours in the same day, he helped me with other electrical issues within the home. The communication was very good from everyone in the office and the gentleman who came to my home. I truly appreciated that everyone was so kind and considerate. I especially want to make sure that anyone coming into my home does not bring a negative vibe to my home or to me (if I can help it). :) I also appreciate very much the special price that South Hills Electric agreed to with Angie's List. That was actually very smart because that allowed me to use their services and I was so pleased with the service that I told my friends and family that they can trust them if they need to use their services.

Paid for a whole house surge protector via Angie's List deal. Everything went very smoothly: purchase, scheduling, and install. I price compared to DIY and it's only marginally more expensive for the service so it was a no-brainer to have them do it. The installers were prompt, courteous, and FAST (and no shortcuts!). If I needed electrical work in the future, I would definitely give these guys a call in my quote process.
