Very well. They had to replace starting capacitor and recharge the coolant. Also provided estimates to do more maintenance needed, or replace 20+ year old unit. Also advised on changes needed to ductwork.

Took 2 or 3 tries to get the ceiling fan correctly installed, but came out each time, no questions asks and kept their word. I would certainly use them again.

Everything went well. Punctual, professional, and thorough. They performed the check and tune up and even helped change some settings on the air conditioner to fix a few issues I've been having. Also explained everything well and had recommendations to prolong a/c life and improve efficiency. Great experience!

It worked out fine. It fixed the problem. Explained the problem. Answered all my questions. It was great. They came when they said they were coming and I told him the problem and he went and explained to me what was wrong so I could tell my son and then he fixed it. I don't know anything about electricity. I would rather have a professional come. They scheduled a time. I called the company and purchased a coupon and they scheduled a time for me. It was like 2:00, I think it was. He came right on time. In fact, he called ahead of time and asked me if I was there and if he could come a little early and I said yes. Everything worked out fine. I was well satisfied.

Punctual, professional and explained processes. Project manager showed up just to ensure everything was running smoothly with install. We trusted these guys.

Installation went well and did not take a lot of time

The switches work now. But I'm a bit disappointed by the use of the time. The technician was unfamiliar with the switches, which (according to the technician) were apparently not a standard setup for three-way dimmer switches. Admittedly, the instructions accompanying the switches were not well-written. But a good deal of the two-hour time block was spent by me researching on YouTube how these switches are supposed to be installed and showing the video to the technician. By the time it was determined how to install these switches, the technician hardly was able to complete the installation of two of the switches, leaving additional switches and replacement lights uninstalled, and having to rush to fix the latter-installed switch that was not wired in a standard way. The technician was very nice, professional, enthusiastic and timely and had a great work ethic. I would hire them again for sure. But I remain bothered by the time wasted in trying to educate myself and the technician in how the switches were meant to be installed. I understand that the switches were not a standard setup, and appreciate that the technician eventually was able to get them working. But, so much of the time I paid for was spent on education instead of actually performing the work, that a lot of what I was told by the scheduler that we would be able to do was not done.

South Hills Electric was great. I needed to reschedule a couple times and they were always accommodating. On the day of service, the technician (Anthony C.) arrived promptly, used shoe covers, and performed the work efficiently & professionally. Just as importantly, he was personable, easy to talk to, answered all my questions, and offered some free advice on other electrical issues. I was totally comfortable having him in my home. I had purchased one of the Angie's List special offers for this service, and I'm really glad I did.

It was not possible for them to do the work because they would have had to tear out a tile ceiling. However, the serviceman was very polite and honest, and I would use them in the future, if necessary.

The serviceman came and concluded he could not do the receptacle work without removing part of our wall in the bathroom, etc and the cost would be much higher. We asked him to estimate the cost of installing two swiveling ceiling lights in our family room in the existing stationary ceiling light connections. The estimate was in excess of $600 which we considered too expensive for the luxury of the swivel. Now here's the fascinating part - Yesterday I was in ACE hardware and asked if they had swiveling ceiling lights, sure enough and they were $29.99 per light. I bought two and installed both in the existing sockets. Total cost $70 and installation time took 10 minutes. My job looks and works great. Maybe I should go into the electrical light installation business. Great markups!

This company and the specific guy that came out (Anthony) weren't just good, they weren't just great, they were AMAZING! This man was so considerate, and knowledgeable, and efficient, and cleaned up well, I mean it was just too good to be true! He is extremely pleasant and overall just a professional and courteous man.

They're just busy, it was hard to get them to come out. Once they did it was good.

The serviceman was polite,efficient and informative. Donna on the office phone was polite but to brush me off with"usual practice". She offered no recourse for the over charge.
