We have cabinet lighting in the kitchen, one of them was broken so we did a switch a roo, LED lighting. They did a nice job. The guys came out and worked hard for two hours.

Part replacement. Smooth and professional.

He did let me know I needed to change the filter other than that he basically said I will need to replace the unit soon and mines well do the furnace for about 10 grand. I think this special is to sell a replacement because I had one before and they gave me a list of things they did added fluid etc. This company did none of that. When I scheduled the appointment, they wanted to talk to the owner which was a sign they wanted to sell something although they didn't press a sale, he didn't do anything.

The electrician did a good job, punctual, professional and friendly. He asked to inspect my breaker box and furnace afterwards, and asked if he could place his stickers on them. I agreed. Of course he found some work that could be done on my breaker box. Probably legit, but the reasonable cost of the ceiling fan is probably a way to see what other work can be done. The estimate for the work he found was $4600!

Our ground wire needed replaced on a Friday. The light company had shut off our electricity. South Hills Electrical told us they would replace ground wire and probably our out dated box would have to be replaced in order for us to have electricity. We are older and did not think of other options of waiting until Monday and call someone else so we wouldn't have to pay triple for the work. TOTAL WAS $7,000.00. The rep from this company told us they couldn't come out to do the work for several weeks and told us we probably had to have box replaced too in order for electricity back on. We feel that we were taken advantage of because of our age and the situation and we were not given any options like fix ground wire now and do box later. This was in July. We could have done without electricity and given our food away. A lot less expensive that paying triple for the work. I would not recommend them to any one. They took advantage of the situation, to make the most that they could.

No problems with installation. The electricians arrived on time and when completed, explained all the functions of the heat pump, etc. Would highly recommend South Hills Electric - I have never been disappointed and have used them numerous times.

I phoned South Hills Electric after we had a power surge. They responded quickly to get our power back on safely. We had lost some major appliances and some other smaller things. The technician arrived and got started right away. Shortly after the owner of the company arrived and both were working. During this whole power surge I completely blew out my knee and needed surgery to repair. After about 30 minutes the owner and technician came into the home to talk to my wife and I. They explained what needed to be done to get our service back. The owner explained that he was going to put a whole house surge protector on to prevent this from happening again. I was concerned with this because I knew with my surgery I would be off work for some time and was concerned that my insurance company would not pay for it. The owner assured me that this would be covered because the insurance company wouldn't want to pay out for service like this again. Well guess what?? The insurance company said they weren't going to pay for it. I called South Hill Electric and spoke to Donna and explained the situation and she said she would call me back once she gets the info. I called back a few days later and was told she needed to talk to the technician but he was hospitalized. We exchanged a few emails but nothing was resolved. I phoned them again about a week ago and spoke to someone who said they would leave a note for the manager, who I was told was Donna. I wanted this surge protector removed because I felt we were mislead. Donna said she couldn't take out the surge protector because it was already installled and it would be considered used. So again after phone calls and emails I never heard back from them to try to resolve this. I have to say the technician was very efficient and polite, however we were mislead by the owner big time!!!

It was great! The gentlemen arrived on time - and wore booties through the whole visit. He was very professional, efficient and took the time to explain anything that needed it, as well as listen to the concerns. Went through all the checklist items for the AC check-up. He explained he would do a quote for a new AC system, and send over that evening. It arrived a few hours later. Great job!

I gave them 3 dates and got an email back that they would come on one of those days between 9 - noon. They rescheduled for today and I didn't even get a phone call to say that no one was coming. I tried calling and got a voicemail that no one was available and to leave a message and they'd call back and no one has called back.

Excellent, very professional service call. Didn't try excessively to push addt services, which were not nec based on the year of performance.

He called to see if he could come early since he was in the area which worked better for me. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing. Very pleasant and friendly. Would recommend!

They did a good job and everything has been working well. They replaced a worn part on the furnace that was an extra cost but it was at a fair price.

Electrician's name is Anthony and he was excellent. Very professional, kind, knowledgeable and just an all around nice young man. Anthony is definitely an asset to South Hills Electric.

It went great. The guys were very thorough. I was so happy about the work they performed I asked for a bid on additional minor things that needed done (i.e. change out ceiling fan; upgrade some outlets). But the bid price for that work was so outrageously high that I will not be hiring them to do that work.

Great- I received an email ahead of time confirming appointment & with photo of employee that was coming. The technician called ahead of time to see if it was okay that he arrived early. The tune up was very thorough, and Anthony was helpful (easily explained things for me), and friendly. He took photos of the equipment, and then emailed me those with his comments/notes in addition to an invoice and estimate for suggested repairs. The company then called me as a follow up to ensure all went well.

Wonderfully from bid to installation we had 3 bids & they matched the low bid. Very neat, workmen were friendly, explained everything & took photos of the current problem. Would recommend highly!!

The company has had some administrative changes which has provided a totally different outlook on my part. They've been more responsive to getting things done properly. They have redeemed themselves with the new personnel that has come on board. I have got my issues resolved. Back in 2015 they didn't correctly install my furnace. I contacted other HVAC persons, one of whom brought an Amana representative and troubleshooter who wasn't associated at all with South Hills. The Amana troubleshooter looked at it and he said they had done me wrong. After they had a change of administration, they got rid of some personnel including their service manager and several others. Their new service manager came on board, and as a last resort I called them to see maybe with the change of their personnel if they would be willing to agree that things had not be done correctly. The new service manager was familiar with the Amana troubleshooter and talked with him. He came out personally and shortly thereafter, they completely redid my furnace. They got my furnace operating the way it's supposed to. They went to a lot of trouble. As the new service manager told me, they didn't make any money on making it right. I'm pleased that they were as good as a company as they were to make it right. That is a credit to them in that regard. The previous service manager was not only unwilling to accept that they had done anything wrong, he definitely was not going to do anything more to make it right, except having me pay for making it right. They made some further changes recommended by the Amana troubleshooter. We had some problems as we made those changes didn't quite come out right. I complained enough until they paid me for the materials. I told them what I was going to need to make it right and I made it right by my own DYI efforts but they provided all the materials. I finally did the job to satisfy myself. I think they realized that the only way I was going to be satisfied was if I did it myself.
