Description of Work: I bought a coupon for an A/C checkup and that's precisely what I got. They didn't try to sell me a new system - no pressure at all. My technician Rich was wonderful - very personable - very conscientious - very professional and informative.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for $49 Electrical or HVAC Service Call plus $50 Credit Toward Service. They explained a needed a new compression coil and it would be expensive. They said it would probably not be in my best interest to do the work.

Description of Work: Installed a new air conditioning unit. The only part we did not appreciate was the extra expense for "moving" the unit to another area and delaying installation by a week. The technician was at the house and didn't mention "moving" the unit to another area. The owner of South Hills Electric contacted us personally and explained the situation and assisted us in getting additional funding for the extra moving expense. In all job well done and would use South Hills Electric again.

Description of Work: The tech was punctual, personable, knowledgable and patient. The fan i purchased was defective and he waited until i ran and got another one! I was quick, and very happy to get this done despite the equipment problem.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List deal for a heating inspection, and they discovered I needed a new furnace. The gentleman who did the initial check was great, but there were some issues with the gentleman who installed the furnace. It took him two hours longer than he anticipated because he wasn't sure how to hook up the hoses. Then when I was signing off on the work and asked about the air purifier I paid for, he asked what I was talking about. He didn't see that on the order and had to come back again. Then there was an issue with the installation of it, but eventually I received a call saying it was hooked up correctly. I am pleased with the final product, but the installation was a bit problematic.

Description of Work: I had South Hills Electric install two new ceiling fans. Last year, they installed a whole new electrical panel and I was very pleased with the experience I decided to go with them again. The installers were very pleasant and professional. No question was too small. I learned a lot about the installation of ceiling fans - it helps to know what is being done so you can better determine if cost is appropriate. For the amount of time it took to install the first fan, I feel as though I got my money's worth. This company is great and would not hesitate for one minute to use them again or recommend them to someone else.
