Description of Work: Checked whole heating/cooling system and advised me they have some life in them.. They did tell me to keep eye on them in next few years unlike others. They are being professional and provide me the total estimate cost of repair/replacement when they break down so I can be fully prepared.

Description of Work: I used an Angie's List offer for electrical panel labeling & inspection. We just bought this house & everything was either mislabeled or not at all plus we had some breakers that will trip easily. I tried to figure it all out myself but it turned out things were everywhere & the workers who showed up found out that they were! | |They even put a thermal handheld thingy up to show me that I had 2 breakers that run pretty hot, borderline overloaded... I may need them in the future to split those runs. thx

Description of Work: I bought the ac tune up and cleaning package that included refrigerant if needed. In between purchasing the package that had a "value" of over $200 and South Hills Electric coming out, my ac unit's capacitor went out. Starting with the tune up package purchased. The tech measured my existing refrigerant, said the unit was fine and told me that was the extent of the tune up. I asked about the cleaning and he told me that $79 wasn't enough for a full cleaning, it wasn't included in the offer, and that it cost hundreds to do that (about $200 in value maybe or what was promised in the offer?). After showing him the package I bought and where it specifically listed a cleaning, the tech used my hose to spray of the unit. No cleaning foam, solution, or anything else. I told him that $79 to measure refrigerant and to hose down the unit seemed a bit high. His response was well, it's basically the cost of a service call and the idea of refrigerant being needed is what "gets you" in the add. As for the capacitor going out, I was billed $323.40 and the service was done without consent because I went inside to take a business call. When I came out I was told yes the capacitor was bad so he replaced it and if I didn't want it, he could take it out. I said no, you did the work, it's fair to pay for it, but when I saw the bill I felt stung. All in I paid $402.40 to get my ac unit hosed off and to have a $50 part plugged in to existing wires and attached by one bolt.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's list coupon to have my circuit box labeled along with an electrical inspection. They were very professional and thorough. I probably would not use this provider without an Angie's list coupon as the prices they quoted to complete their recommendations seemed excessive.

Description of Work: TECHNICAN CHECKED ALL FACETS OF AC UNIT. HE SUGGESTED NOW OR IN FUTURE TO REPLACE CAPACITOR AND I AGREED. UPON REMOVING OLD ONE HE REALIZED THAT THE RATIOS WERE DIFFERENT FROM NEW ONE AND I DID NOT NEED ONE. I APPRECIATED THE HONESTY WHICH NOW A DAYS IS RARE. HE COULD HAVE EASILY SAID NOTHING AND REPLACED OLD ONE WHEN NOT NECESSARY AND I WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN THE WISER. ALSO, APPRECIATED WAS HIS PROFESSIONALISM, COURTESY, AND EXCELLENT MANNERS. JUSTIN TERHUNE IS AN EXCELLENT ASSET TO SOUTH HILLS ELECTRIC. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN AND CERTAINTLY ASK FOR JUSTIN. JUSTIN ALSO EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE DID AND WHAT THE CAPACITORS JOB WAS IN RELATIONSHIP TO THE UNIT.

Description of Work: It was a deal for $77 A/C tune-up and up to one lb. of coolant. It was wonderful and they were great.

Description of Work: Fixed air conditioner. Took a little while to figure out the problem, but they stand behind their work and their price, and very prompt and easy to deal with. And it's working fine.

Description of Work: Second time I have used this provider. He diagnosed a broken ceiling fan, told me what my options were, and came back and installed a replacement when re-called. I will call them again when I have another electric problem.
