Called to get estimate on leaking shower ,they were suppose to call what time they will come never called.I called back they came the same day to look at the shower.The plumer told me he needs part will call me with price in few days.He never called back.I am very disapointed with the service specially that I got the plumer from Angies' List

Very professional and friendly service. They worked with us to find a good time to come and wore plastic covers on their shoes so as not to track mud into the house (it was a rainy day).

It was a pleasure to do business with this company. We called Tuesday afternoon and received a call back Tuesday evening; we were told they could come either Thursday or Friday and that they would call to confirm the day before. We received a follow-up call on Thursday to say they would be there Friday by late morning. Tim and Kevin arrived by 11:30 and quickly assessed the work to be done. They asked for our input on repairing versus replacing an extremely old bathroom fixture, circa 1955. We decided to go with a new one which we purchased from Home depot; they installed it. We are very happy with the new fixure. Tim took his time as the plumbing is old and fragile. He tested the sink at least three times to make sure all parts worked and there were no leaks. Additionally, he replaced the fluid master in the also aged toilet ... it does no longer takes the tank forever to fill nor does it continuously run. They also removed and capped gas lines from a fireplace that is no longer used. Finally they replace an older valve for an exterior faucet. They did all this in about three hours. They were very friendly, professional and answered our questions. Tim also was very good about the cleanup and removing the old parts. We will definitely use them again.

They came while I was out and were let in by my contractor with my permission but: 1. They did not apply my Angies List 10% first time customer discount and 2. They did not provide an itemized or detailed invoice stating WHAT they did and the RESULTS

We had a small gas leak and our gas was turned off. They were able to give us a quick quote and do the work quickly. it took longer than they thought but didn't charge more than they quoted.

On a Tuesday night our toilet suddenly wouldn't stop running and couldn't flush properly. We thought we'd have to live with it for a few days, since both of us have trouble getting time off work and we were doubtful that anyone would be able to come in at a workable time. But first thing Wednesday morning I left a message for Schubert Heating and Plumbing just to see what they could do, and they surprised me by calling me back right away and saying that not only could they come by that very day, but they could do it at a time that was good for me. Moreover, I ran VERY late meeting them at my apartment because the doctor's appointment I had immediately before I came home ran way too long. I was almost an hour late meeting them. They were extremely nice and understanding about that and they fixed my toilet in maybe ten minutes tops by replacing a part. The two guys were very nice and professional. I'm very happy with the service that we receied and the next time we need a plumber we will certainly call them again.

Schubert Plumbing worked within my budget and time frame. After the on-site estimate, the workmen returned the next morning to complete the work both quickly and professionally.

The job took about a week. Andy reported back to me at regular intervals. He was professional and thorough from start to finish.

He was very thorough in his inspection, and very patient with the multitude of questions I fired at him. He didn't just answer the questions; he took the time to walk me through the entire system and showed me the most likely places I may have problems. Schubert's is 2 for 2 with me. In the rental property business it is important to find contractors you can trust and rely on. We have a new plumber that we will continue to use. I highly recommend Schubert Plumbing and Heating.

Called them and they responded by phone the next day -- came a couple of days later -- did the clogged toilet and installed the kitchen sink faucet and hose -- checked the bathroom shower and diagnosed that it need a new hot/cold flow control valve. Checked and fixed one bathroom drain. Shortly after, we made another appointment and they came back to install the new shower hot/cold mixer control device and install a different plug setup in the other bathroom sink. We will definitely call on them again -- they are excellent.

Work was done in a rental property. Tenants were extremely happy, they were on time, worked efficiently and left the work area cleaner than when they got there. We have found a new plumber for our properties, as a matter of fact we already have arranged for them to take care of another issue.

Called them Monday morning & had to leave a message.They called back within a few hours & were here the same day.Took care of problem # 1 on Monday & discussed #2 at length but could not do that job until Wednesday.The owner himself came on Monday & was very professional & courteous.Wednesday 2 other gentleman came who were equally as good.The work was completed in a timely manner & they left the area cleaner than it was when they arrived.As of right now all seems to be working fine & I would highly recommend them to anyone & everyone.

I called Schubert at about 8 am to fix a clog that I couldn't fix. They called back by 9:00am to schedule and appointment, by 10am a service technician was at my house and everything was fixed by 11am. Highly recommended.

We needed a plumber badly to replace a 100 year old basement stack pipe, which appeared to be at the end of its usefulness & about to let the you-know-what literally hit the basement floor if we didn't do something about it immediately. After reviewing Schubert Plumbing & Heating on Angies List, we called on 07/13/2012 & left a message regarding what work we needed to have done. Amazingly, a very pleasant, courteous and professional woman called back the same day and said that a plumber would call us shortly after she reached him in the field. Even more amazing was the fact that she was correct, and a very pleasant, courteous, & professional gentleman plumber called back later that day. In the past, we have had the common experience of having to continuously call contractors of all kinds just to get them to call back to even tell us if they were available for the job, so this was quite a wonderful surprise to hear back from Schubert's so promptly. After explaining briefly what we needed, he explained that he would be there the next day to take a look and start the work--on a Saturday even! How nice! Indeed, he and a partner arrived in their van after 9AM on Saturday 07/14/2012, after calling first to let us know they were on their way. They politely greeted us and walked in right away to start the work. They completed the 4 foot replacement section of our basement stack pipe in just a few hours, including clean up. They cleaned up everything and left no mess. Our bill was much less than we expected for this type of job, $360 after a discount as first time customers on Angies List!Schubert Plumbing & Heating is everything we could have hoped for, and they far exceeded our expectations in every way. I contacted them and let them know the work was to be performed in a tenant occupied house. They worked with the tenant to perform the work at a convenient time and they were able to fix my two concerns within a few days. The tenant said "They were great, fast, professional and good with the cats." They kept me in the loop of the repairs and were friendly and professional with me. The price was reasonable in my opinion.I would use them again.

Problem of small amount of water leaking from combination shower/jacuzzi above had been occuring for some time. Less leakage for shower only and more when jacuzzi was in use. Suddenly quantity of water pouring into basement increased, especially with jacuzzi. I called Schubert Plumbing who I had used before not knowing if they worked on jacuzzis. I left my message on Saturday (stating not an emergency since we have another shower) and Karen returned my call Monday. They have some young employees who are quite competent, but I requested Andrew for this problem. We scheduled next day between 8:30 and 10:00. He arrived on time and took the access panel off and began testing where the leaks could be coming from. It took a couple hours since the tub had to be filled up and tested after each correction.The main problems turned out to be dried out putty around drain and also a faulty drain (the fancy kind you step on to fill and then step on other side to empty) and also need to grout along the floor.The previous time I used Schubert (found on Angie's List) was for stopped up laundry tub drains another plumber had told me was due to invading roots and had me using a chemical every month. He said if that did not work then tearing up concrete floor/walls was next step. Schubert's employees came out and correctly diagnosed that problem as worn out disposal in kitchen above and after replacing same the problem was solved. I'm sure there are many good plumbers, but this is my guy (and my family's guy). Thanks Angie's List.L.S.

Karen was very responsive and pleasant to deal with on the phone. I opted to schedule more than a week in advance, so that I could schedule time to stay home from work. They confirmed Sunday evening and made me the first call on a Tuesday with a window of arrival between 7:30 and 8am. They arrived at 7:35 and began work immediately. The two man team (a plumber and an apprentice) asked me to describe the issues we were having before they began. Together, they started on the sewer cleaning in my basement. Periodically, they came back to touch base and let me know what was going on. Once they got as far as they could, about 60 feet in, they stopped and told me that they were going to test the system by running water for 20 minutes to make sure nothing backed up. It didn't. They then told me that if it backed up again in the future, I had two options -- another cleaning or to send a camera through the system and diagnose if there is a larger issue. I have a 100 year old house. When I had a backup before, the plumber offered a "free inspection" and tried to get me to rip up the floor and replace the system -- to the tune of $10K! These guys were professional, pragmatic and trustworthy. The main plumber on the job even called the owner to touch base, review the work they were doing, and see if he had any other recommendations. I'll definitely use them again. In fact, they'll be finishing the kitchen sink for me in the next several days. The only delay was on my end. They removed the clog in my kitchen sink, but I'm replacing my cabinets. So, I asked them to come back and install the sink in my new counter top.

Andy responding quickly and advised that since the manufacturer had provided warranty replacement parts for some of the repairs they would probably also cover the other items that were need to complete the repairs especially since the diverter was missing a seal kit. Scheduling was deferred until all replacements were received. Kevin and Tim arrived on the scheduled date and immediately went to work each in a different location. Main bath repairs were completed and Tim did a beautiful job on the caulking. The kitchen diverter didn't entirely solve the problem. Kevin spoke with the manufacturer who ultimately offerred to send a replacement faucet to resolve the issue. Basement repairs were completed swiftly with the exception of the shower handle which may need to be a special order. Everyone that I had contacted at Schubert was extremely professional. Kevin was instrumental in securing a new faucet from the manufacturer. I certainly will use them again and will update this report following installation of the new kitchen faucet that is being shipped.

Although it took several days to schedule due to the distance to our house, the arrived early on the day they were to come. They corrected a leak in the shower and also unclogged a difficult clog in the kitchen sink. They were professional and personable and we found the price very reasonable. We will be scheduling them to correct another problem we asked them to look at while here, which did not require immediate attention.

I was impressed with how responsive professional knowledvgeable and efficient andy was. I will definitely call them from now on!

I'm very happy with the service that I received from Schubert. It took a little bit of phone tag over a week or two to schedule the appointment, but that wasn't a problem because this was not an emergency situation. I was very happy with their quality of work, integrity, and pleasantly surprised when I got the bill for less than $100 (including a 10% Angie's List first-time customer discount). I will certainly call Schubert the next time I need a plumber.

I needed a plumber quickly; the contractor never told me I needed a plumber. When I called Schubert Plumbing, I spoke to Karen and she was so pleasant and considerate. They listened to my situation and agreed to do the work on short notice. They showed up on time, were very nice and explained everything they did. Told me to call if I ever had a problem and they would come right back. I would definitely use them again.
