Description of Work: I again reached out to an Annie's list provider. Seemed very noce on phone but again a no show. Please do not schedule an appointment if you are a no show .

Description of Work: repaired a chandelier that my kid tore off the ceiling (65$). replaced a dimmer switch that blew out (130$ which I thought was a little steep).

Description of Work: I had a problem with my breaker box. It still requires more work but they got me going at a reasonable cost.

Description of Work: I used Sargent Electric Service sometime in 2012. I had water in my electric panel. The electric line outside the house and the electric panel were replaced. I remember it was less than $1,000.00. I don't remember the cost because it has been a while, howevwer I thought it was reasonable. The reason why I chose this company is because whenever a street light in the city of Pittsburgh, PA was out they were the company that came to do the service. If they were good enough for the city to use, they were good enough for me. I would definitely use this company again. Very pleased with their professionalism. I received an estimate of the job before work was done.

Description of Work: I had a unidentifiable short that completely perplexed me. They responded within a couple of hours of my initial contact. He tracked it to an abandoned live line going to a long-missing walkway light that I did not even know existed. I guess the previous owner just cut the line and left it in the ground, energized.

Description of Work: Removed old chandelier and installed new one.

Description of Work: Received estimate for the following: install whole house surge protector on 100 amp Murray panel ($185); perform whole house safety inspection. Check a minimum of two devices per room ($395); install device boxes behind all basement devices with one new ivory device and plastic cover plate per opening. ($400)

Description of Work: I had a short circuit in one of my electrical sockets that kept me from resetting my circuit breaker. I had seven electrical sockets rewired and the problem was fixed.

Description of Work: My service entry box had to be upgraded to 100 amps and the outside cable where it connected to the house had to have corrosion scraped and the seal, resealed. Tim was extremely considerate of my situation and tried to save me $$. Within 1/2 day, the work was completed.

Description of Work: I contacted Sargent after finding them on Angie's List, they were one of 6 electricians I had come out to give me a bid. Two of the other companies (look at reports submitted) could not complete the project "its not possible" and lacked technical know how and innovation. One other company was $300 cheaper but stated it would take 3 days. Tim from Sargent was the man with plan and executed every step of the way. I had a new 150 amp panel put into both of my rental units as I am converting from knob and tube to newer separate electric. Tim did the work while I was out of town with zero hold ups. My upstairs tenants were out of power for a minimum amount of time and they completed everything in 1 day. I had a new weather head, boxes and 10 breakers included in the deal and I could not have been happier with Sargent's performance. I would highly recommend this company to do business with.

Description of Work: Sargent gave me an estimate on rewiring the bottom floor of my house (kitchen and three other rooms). The estimate included a new breaker box and all receptacles, no lights. The house is a duplex so the second floor is on a different panel and none of my concern.

Description of Work: Sargent Electric (Adrian Weil was the tech) installed 3 ceiling fans we had purchased at home improvement store. There were already lights where we wanted the fans to be installed.

Description of Work: Installed Ceiling fan in Playroom. Had to wire to ceiling and install directly into ceiling.

Description of Work: Scheduled an appointment for 7:30 am, and they completely missed it. I wasted 45 minutes driving to the property and then another 45 minutes waiting for them. I had to call them at 7:55 am to ask where they were, and he stated that someone was on the way. I waited another 20 minutes and no one had arrived.

Description of Work: Ceiling fan hung, outside light fixed & hung, electricity installed outside, GFI switch installed in the bathroom, electricity installed to accommodate microwave in kitchen & split circuits in electricity box.

Description of Work: They provided an estimate on an electrical upgrade, some rewiring, and new lighting fixtures.
