This is the second time I had Roth Carpet do work at my house. Their work is immaculate - Jeremy is awesome at his job. They however dropped the ball on their quoting and final charge. I contacted Roth Carpet through Angie's list this year and was adviced that their website rate is lower. Which was fine - whatever saved me money - the agent on their phone quoted the same rate on 2 separate calls at $297.79usd because it was the exact job I was getting done as last year ...except when Jeremy made the final bill it was $510.12. When he called the office re: the discrepancy - the agent worked out the quote at $384.83 - she said because their supervisor Kenneth who come to help Jeremy last year had miscalculated the final bill. I still questioned the discrepancy and was transferred to Eileen in their accounting office who said that she will figure out the discrepancy and call back. And guess what? she called back with YET another number of $416.83 - she said the owner wanted to collect on the miscalculation from last year - at that point I completely lost it. They said to meet them half way difference of 416.83 and 297.79. I had no patience left to deal with yet another figure so settled at 357.31usd. I have no idea how they operate their business - all I can say is get their quote in writing if you do opt to give them your custom.

It was okay. They did what they had to do. They were nice enough about it. There was on guy that came out and then they had to come back out another day and they had another guy and then that guy didn't do what the other guy said he was going to do as much. We just went on with it because they're already in our home.

They were nice. The first time, they didn’t do a good job so they sent a more experienced and older men the second time and they explained everything to me. The second guy, I recommended them highly. But the younger kids, they will be in and out and they did not move any furniture. I’ll be 51 this month and me and daughter can move the furniture. I was real upset with them and we called to complain and they said they will teach them the first time and he explained to me why there were dog stains. The second one was really good but the first one was not. They were not impolite but they were not well mannered in doing their job. I moved the furniture and they would not help me. I will not recommend them unless they will send somebody older and more knowledgeable.

The technician was very honest about what he could and couldn't do and was also extremely pleasant. He worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely call again when I need our carpets done.

Unfortunately the quality of the cleaning services offered by Roth Carpet Cleaning has deteriorated from a personalized caring service to an unacceptable level of carelessness, dishonesty and greed. I had this company in the past, but they have since compromised the quality to unacceptable levels, and sadly the customer service is now atrocious! We called to report a terrible job, by an extremely rude technician (Jeremy) that was done for nearly $600 after we were sold all kinds of extra "scrubbing services" but leaving even the simplest spots behind! After leaving, we found out that the spots they stated "could not be removed", we were able to manually scrub away in 30 seconds or less with a wet rag, meanwhile video recording the process as proof that they simply did not try! We called Roth's Carpet cleaning back, not to get a refund, but rather to have them redo some of the area that was clearly not done properly. Initially a lady by the name of Angela was apologetic and promised to send someone to do the job right. However two weeks later, we got a call from a an angry gentleman who claimed to be "the owner" of the business. He was confrontational, interrupted every sentence I said, insisting the technician did the best job, and refusing to even see the pictures and or our recorded videos! He then threatened to hang up on me, if I did not have "something to add" to support his assessment! I am not sure what kind of business they think they're running nowadays, but if the main goal is to overcharge, under deliver, then bully the customer, I would call this... a scam. We are extremely disappointed in Roth's Carpet Cleaning and strongly urge you, the customer, if you had a similar experience, to report them to the better business bureau (as we intend to do). We need to put a stop to this kind of business practice in Pittsburgh.

Everything went well. I had 6 very large rooms carpeted. The salesman was very professional. He took his time with me showing me samples of carpet and different quality. The installers were also very professional. They had to move furniture around to install the carpet and they put everything back the way it was. They cleaned up very well putting all the old carpeting cut up and tied. I had no issues with the garbage company picking everything up. They salesman called after everything was done to make sure I was happy with the work that was done.

The technician arrived and got to work right away. We walked through first so that he could see the space that needed to be cleaned and how much work cleaning needed to be done. He was very professional and worked very hard to clean all carpets. He did inform us that the carpets were sort of damaged due to past cleaning methods. Let me explain. Over the past 7 years we mainly cleaned the carpets with our home machine and he explained that those machines can leave a soapy residue that can be removed by going over the carpets with a vinegar rinse. Since we were unaware and never did that the carpet pile was flat and no amount of cleaning would make the pile fluff back up. So, although he worked hard and certainly cleaned the carpets well the overall appearance once they dried was not unlike the appearance before they were cleaned- due to no fault of his. I would definitely use Roth again.

The first problem was with the scheduling. I suggested the date of May 8th. They agreed to this date in our conversation. They didn't call or show up on the 8th so i called the office. They had the appointment in the computer for the 15th. (I double checked the confirmation email and it said I suggested the 8th). They were able to reschedule for the 11th. The crew was friendly but told me they would have to charge me $5.00 more per room because it was closed loop carpet! So they found a way to jack the price up at the last minute. The price went up by $35. Why wasn't I warned the price would go up if I had a closed loop carpet? They worked really fast. Perhaps they rushed the job. While it was damp it looked great. When it dried a lot of the discolorations were still there. They had been hidden by the dampness. I am very disappointed with this service.

I was not over whelmed with them. I would not use them again. The spots have all come back. They do not move furniture. I would rather pay more and get it done right. They send one fellow in and that is it. The price was good.

He asked if I wanted to remove pet smells and such because I had just ordered the basic cleaning from Angie's List.

It was great. The guy was really nice. It was wonderful. It was actually perfect. It was really easy. They scheduled right away. The technician that came out was awesome. He did a really good job. He was professional. There was nothing bad to say. They did very well. It was exactly what they quoted. They were very responsive. I would definitely use them in the future.

My carpets were very dirty so the cleaner recommended a three stage process for an additional $130. Sure, let's do it. Carpets came out looking very good and the cleaner was very friendly and explained everything.

It was a good experience. It went over because of the extra work. They did a good job. There were no issues at the whole process.

They were fine. They were thorough and very accommodating. I've already used them again and will continue using them in the future.

They arrived an hour early which caused a little problem. I was disappointed that they charged sales tax when they did the work. This is the first time I have had to pay sales tax for one of the "Big Deals"

I am so dissapointed and furious with this compsny. We bought a brand new sectional two years ago and wanted to have it cleaned. Once the couch fully dried it had a stench to it. It does not look like it was cleaned at all!! To make it worse, it now has a pink sheen to it. I absolutely furious and totally regret not calling a national chain. Oh, and the fabric is really rough feeling now too! They also cleaned an area rug, which looks exactly like it did before the cleaned it. I'm not sure what went wrong? The guys cleaned it, I saw the machine, the couch and area rug were wet? Did they forget the chemicals? Did they use dirty water? I don't know? But what I do know is that my couch is ruined!!!

I am always very pleased with Roth. I purchase their carpet cleaning specials on Angies List whenever I have any turnover in my rental units. I have used quite few cleaning companies in Pittsburgh and find Roth to be the least expensive and the best in service and quality of cleaning. Jeremy has been our cleaner for the last couple of cleanings and he has always been very professional and really does a great job. He is always positive and friendly even though he had to carry his equipment up three flights of stairs!--this happened on two occasions! You can't go wrong with Roth and I will continue to hire them.

This is the 3rd time I've used Roth carpet cleaning. I love them the woman in the office that I schedule with is always so pleasant and helpful and the technician is amazing as well. He is great with my dogs and very courteous of my home. I will continue using them for any steam cleaning needs.
