The technician was on time, and they even called the day before to confirm. The cleaning was done efficiently, stains were treated, and although some of the stains were lighter, they were not all gone. Joe explained that the pet stains might not go away, so I was not too disappointed. Overall, the carpet looks brighter and, other than the spots, like new. The technician was very efficient and professional while stretching the carpet back to its original shape, eliminating many ripples from years of wear. He moved furniture and left the carpet freshly vacuumed. He even accommodated the cable repairman, who happened to come in the middle of the stretching, working around him where he could. When he was done, the bubbles and ripples were gone. I was very pleased with the end result.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service. The carpets were cleaned sufficiently, but I was not very happy with the technician who came. He was kind of a smart a**. I was explaining something to him and he was lecturing me. I started to say something to him and he told me he was not finished yet. I decided to myself I would never have him back. In a nutshell, I would never get Roth again. Maybe if Angie offered some other company, but I don't think I would ever have them back again. Plus, I know that there was a contract signed for this amount. In the rooms he was cleaning there was about a 4-1/2 tiny connecting hallway with a chest sitting in it. I said he was going to clean both bedrooms and the hallway, but he said that the hallway would be extra. He gave me attitude and I thought that was rude. The scheduling of the service was simple. He had to call his office because there was some sort of confusion about whether I had already paid. I know I had already paid but he was telling me I had not. He blamed it on dealing with the girl at the office saying she did not know what she was talking about. Overall, it was not a good experience with Roth.

I have used Roth several times. They are fine. Clearly the least expensive. So, I never bothered to review them before. But there are several points, not complaints, I wish to warn my neighbors about: If you pay for the Angie's List Coupon, make sure you print it and save it with the receipt! The Roth lady who called to set up an appointment knew nothing of it, and I had to repeat all the information I had already sent them via coupon purchase. When the cleaning man came he knew nothing of the coupon or the instructions I had already twice repeated, so had to give him everything all over again as well. They do NOT communicate the order info among themselves, so they will want you to pay for services twice if you don't save your receipt! Another point: You get what you pay for. Roth is the cheapest, but they only use a little portable machine like you rent at the supermarket. Cleaning man will want to dump it down your toilet and fill it up in your tub. Splashes everywhere. Does only a quick basic job. NOT thorough! Also, this is NOT STEAM CLEANING. Only a wet-vac. If you need professional strength really clean carpet job, you should use Steam Masters of Pittsburgh, or the like. (Also an Angie's List Service Award winner). Finally, sometimes some of the Roth cleaning men want to visit with you while they work. I don't mind friendly workers, but I had other projects I needed to be tending to myself. But on the other hand, if you don't stay in the room and talk with them, they have a tendency to rush the job and not be as thorough, because they know nobody is watching. Hope this helps!

Overall, not bad. I was surprised to see that only one tech arrived and that they did not have truck mounted unit so he had to haul the heavy machine up two flights of steps. Got most of the carpet to come out okay but not quite as well as other services used in the past - especially where our dog likes to sleep. He did not ask whether we had any pets or specific areas of concern - surprised by that,too. The gentleman who came was friendly and talkative - I had other things to do so would rather he just did the work. Wanted to charge me for a fuel surcharge that nobody had told me about when I scheduled the service. He had to call the office to get the okay to not charge it.

Came on time. Did a good job. Carpet looked a lot better then expected after cleaning.

My experience was Nothing as I cancelled them before they got to our house.. I called the North Pittsburgh Number and spoke with a lady telling her that I had the $99.90 Whole House Special. I then learned that since I lived in Butler County I would have a $10 fuel charge to have them come. My Family room was larger than 15 x 15 so it counted as 2 rooms, and it was also Berber Carpeting....another $10 charge. I also forgot that my one set of stairs had Berber so that would add another $10 to the cost of $129 cost that had been quoted to me.....($99.90 plus the Berber, fuel charge, and tax.). They were scheduled to arrive 8/13. I got a call before 8 AM telling me that a technician would arrive between 12:30 - 2 :30 PM that day. At 10:45 I got a call from a technician telling me that he would be there between 3:30 - 5:30 PM. When I asked what had happened to the earlier appointment he said that he didn't know, and said that he had just been given the work order. He apologized for the misunderstanding. At 5:15 the technician called and said that his equipment had broken down and that he needed to get someone to fix his equipment and then he would be at my home between 6:30 and 7:30 PM. At first I told him that it would be ok, but I was later concerned about how late he would be working, and also that his equipment might break again so I told him not to come and I would reschedule. After thinking about the day I decided that if they had such scheduling problems, then what kind of job would they do. I have since decided to go with someone else to do the job.

Everything was done on time and expediently.

Purchased an angies list deal for 3 rooms of carpet cleaning. Later found out that details such as fuel surcharge, and other typical items werent included in the cost which was an unfortunate notification, but they were clear about what was and was not covered in the deal. Punctuality was good and the guy was polite. Work was good, but our carpets are cheap and old so restoration wasnt achievable.

The service was great. They were on time and professional.

Fantastic job by Gino! He was honest, friendly, and on time. Price was exactly as quoted on phone, and I chose to upgrade for our high traffic area.

Their service was mostly good. The carpet was fine. But they didn’t estimate what would happen with the baseboards. They needed to be repainted because the tile wasn’t as tall as the carpet and there was a gap. But they did reimburse us for that cost.

Their service was perfect. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. No mess was left behind. They were easy to talk to and work with, very friendly and professional guys.

Roth Carpet Cleaning Inc. kept trying to up-sell other products to the point when he was told "Hey, we don't want it. We're not interested." He kept pushing it. It was a little bit too much of a hard sell. There were no additional charges after the repeated "no's." They just did the job because there's nothing hard to clean either.

They cleaned two rooms and the couch. I don’t feel they did the best job they could have done.

It went well. They were on time. They explained everything and completed the service.

This was absolutely the most professional and quality product we could have had. It all started with them showing up to the minute to our house with the sample carpets for us to purchase. The Representative was incredible with his knowledge of the product line and what would be best for our situation with 2 Great Danes and 2 cats. The carpet we selected turned out to be incredible and affordable. From there he quickly took measurements of our house to order all the carpet we needed. He also went over everything that was going to happen during the install and things we need to have completed before the installer came. (disconnect electronics and stuff like that) He also followed up with us before the installers came to insure that we were ready and went over again the items we needed to have completed to make it a smooth install. The installer showed up on time and was totally professional and incredibly good. He had the entire job of our house completed in two days (which was the estimate that we were given). I couldn't believe how quickly he was able to get each room prepared and the carpet installed. He was so careful with our furniture as he moved it around it was impressive. We have had carpet installed on other homes and before on this home and never had we had a better installer. The work he did was incredible and the work ethic was incredible. I even called the office to tell just how incredible the installer was. Overall the entire process was incredible and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have carpets installed.

They were very good and on-time. He gave me advice on carpet that will need to be replaced on my stairs.

I am very pleased with the service. The salesman was very experience and knowledgeable. The instillation had a very quick turn around from the time I signed the contract. I am very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend them to others.

Installed new carpet in basement. They moved heavy furniture like file cabinets and a pump organ, didn't charge extra, disposed of old carpet and didn't charge extra. Price was reasonable. Sales person told us how to paint the baseboard and gave us a lot of good information to help the area look good, helped us pick out paint and carpet colors. He did more for us than other companies. Sales person needed to get more carpet, installed steps himself. He kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. Very good service, very nice, very professional.

I called for an estimate and they were able to come out the next day with samples of flooring and a price quote. I had received other quotes for this same job which were much higher. The work was started a week later. The installers were punctual and professional. The job took two days . This was a large area and I was surprised they were able to finish so quickly. There wasn't much dust and they cleaned everything up when finished. The floors turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. It is a natural wood finish, which really brightens up our home. I highly recommend Roth Carpet and Flooring 2U.

It was fine. I would use them again in the future. They were on time and and offered the price they said they would.

Contractor arrived on time very friendly and professional. Explained what we could expect and did a great job!

I was told by person who took my order that I would be called between 7:30 and 9 am by the cleaner on the day of the cleaning. I assumed that meant he would be cleaning at that time but no that was when I was going to learn when they would be arriving to clean. I had never heard of a company using that type of scheduling. However, I was not called in that time frame. I called at 9:30 and learned that he would not be at my house till 11. At the time, I requested a discount for my inconvenience. I was told that only the owner could authorize that. I requested that he contact me. I have still not heard from him. So the cleaner arrive. I thought he was going to move furniture out of the way but instead he would move it a few feet and clean and then move it back. By the time he was done, my recliner was soaked at the bottom from his cleaning. Again I might have been an error on my part but still I thought that the communication was lacking on their part. The carpet did look good after they were done but considering the cost and aggravation they caused me I would not recommend them to anyone.

The carpets got cleaner but a good number of the stains were still there after.
