I called to inquire about a project that I'm doing and the woman on the phone said she didn't think it could be done. There was no "let me check into this for you." It was just "hmm, I don't think so." I'm not going to beg you to take my money so I'll go elsewhere. They truly act unprofessionally!

This company is great. Family owned, punctual, reasonable rates. I originally used them to replace leaded glass in my china cabinet after I stepped on it while moving. Turn around was a few days at most. I have also had them come out & fix broken windows in my rental units. Again, quick, punctual, reasonable. I highly recommend.

My father has some small panes of glass on both sides of his front door, and one of the panes had gotten a crack that just kept getting bigger every morning when the newspaper delivery person threw the paper at it. Rather than wait for the pane to break out completely, I called Rex Glass after finding them on Angie's List. They sent someone out at the time they told me to measure the pane. Then they called me again with a date and time of installation and price. I agreed to it. The installer showed up exactly when expected, spent very little time doing the work, cleaned up everything, and was finished. The new pane is beautiful and is special glass that won't be easy to break if the newspaper delivery person throws papers at it again. All in all I was very pleased with the work, the price and the results. My only less-than-positive comment (and it's not a complaint) is that the time between my call, the measurement visit, and the installation visit were a few weeks apart. If I'd been in a huge hurry, that could have been an issue, but there really wasn't any rush as long as the cracked window hadn't broken out completely. i'm sure if I'd indicated it was a rush job, someone would have been out sooner.

They were fine. They were satisfactory for what small job they did.

Excellent. Rex never hesitated at the complexities of the project. The size and weight of the window wasn't a problem and climbing ladders seemed to be second nature for Rex's workers. They were able to match the special coating of UV protection that was on the cracked window. They brought all of the necessary supplies and were calculated, gentle, and professional with everything. They were upfront, honest and direct about everything and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. The price was as good or better than every other estimate I received. There was a two month delay between ordering the glass and getting it installed because Rex had so many jobs already scheduled and the glass would take awhile to produce. Rex was direct about this delay and apologized for not being more responsive. This problem was only a minor inconvenience to me.

We were very happy with the service. Rex measured our shower and manufactured a glass shower door for us. They worked with us to design a door that would work in a very small bathroom. Once it was installed, we experienced some leakage of water from under the door. I called our representative (Terry) and he immediately had service representatives contact us. They designed a threshold that matches the metal finish around the glass panels and it solved the problem. Sales personnel and technicians were professional, pleasant and responsive. The door is beautiful and really completes the look of our remodeled guest bathroom! We highly recommend this company.

What wonderful service!! Mike and Eric were so pleasant and accommodating. It was obvious from the removal process they had lots of experience. Not one of the huge six foot mirrors broke during removal. The final price was lower than the estimate since it took less time than expected. We were so thankful since we're on a fixed income. All things considered, we couldn't ask for better service from the employees of Rex Glass.

Overall everything went well. From the measuring to the install. Very professional.

Installation of shower door and panel completed in a very quality manner. Installers very clean,covered rugs and floors. Exceptionally good experience with this company.

I didn't realize the details that went into the job. They explained everything to me and were the cheapest out of all the estimates. They replaced it while I waited. The job turned out really well. I am happy about how efficient and understanding this company was.

Their quote was twice as much as the other tow quotes I received

Their bid was fair, they did everything they said they would, they promptly returned to do some additional work when needed.

Everyone was very professional, from the sales/estimator to the installer(s). The mirror, though just a piece of mirror on a wall, has very nice polished edges... its not just cut mirror. The shower doors look very nice and were installed well. The shower pan was not level, nor were the walls square, and they did a very good job adjusting for this with a spacer, and by trimming down a bit of the frame. I say the price was "fair" because it is comparable to what I found elsewhere, though I still feel it was very costly considering the overall quality of the frame is the same as a 70" Kohler Sterling frame for about $300. The thicker glass and good install might be where the money goes.

They returned my call promptly, came quickly to measure and give me a price, and scheduled installation promptly upon receiving the fabricated pane. They warned me that the glass might look different than the other original Andersen windows, but I don't see the difference. It looks like nothing ever happened. I will definitely use this company again.

When we initially contacted Rex Glass, we were given a two-week estimate on how long it would take once they measured and started work. That would have meant that the glass would have been installed on or around September 7th. Instead, there was no call, no contact -- nothing -- until September 17th when they called to set up an installation date. The work, when done, was done extremely well, and we are very satisfied with the quality of the work, and the workmen were very professional. They did an excellent job, they were just not there when promised, nor was there any contact about the delay.

We called Rex based on the recommendation of our tile guy. The representative readily accommodated our hectic schedule and came out before 7:00 a.m. She drew a picture of exactly what I described and we were off and running. They came back and did a second measurement a week later, and three weeks after that the product was in and installed. One of the towel bars was broken, but they took care of it before I ever saw there was a problem. Great work, very happy with the result.

Promptly showed up for scheduled inspection/estimation.. This was also the case for the scheduled work. The mirror removals were complicated. However the work went well and per estimates as to time and money. The window replacements also went well.

I initially sent a web inquiry and was immediately contacted by Carol...she came out and reviewed my project ideas and turned a quote around right away. I decided to just do one part of the quote that she gave to me (the others are on hold until I can decide on a pattern of glass)...and am delighted with the mirror we just had installed on the back of our bedroom door. The glass is absolutely gorgeous and is custom to our door...it looks amazing and this solved my problem of having a mirror that my toddler could knock over (free standing one)...but is not a cheap looking mirror that you would buy at a regular store. I highly recommend this company to anyone! The people who work for this company really make the difference too...so kind and easy to work with...I am very pleased!

The cost for the repair was higher than expected. Since the job isn't a high priority, we decided to do other jobs that are more pressing.

Have used Rex Glass for several other jobs and keep going to them whenever I need something. They are professional and pleasant to deal with. Their products are top-notch. Communication is excellent: I got what I wanted. Can't say enough good things about them!

They were excellent, although it was not an easy job. They did the work for half the price of other estimates we received. My mother was here when they did the work and they were very pleasant with her.

We began the project by contacting the company in early August, using the e-mail address given on their website. Scott and Brendan came several days later to measure the windows, at which time they assured us that if we accepted their estimate (sent to us via e-mail on August 8), the repair would be completed by the end of the month. They were true to their word. The company's office person, Kim, handled our payments (50% down, the rest after installation) and set up the necessary appointments. The men arrived early on installation day and finished the job quickly and neatly. The windows look fabulous! Our experience with this company was so positive that we placed an additional order for a custom-cut glass desktop protector, for which the men took measurements before they left today.

FROM THE VERY FIRST CONTACT, AN OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. THE WOMAN WHO CAME OUT TO GIVE THE ESTIMATE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND GAVE MANY EXCELLENT SUGGESTIONS FOR DESIGNING THE FRAMELESS GLASS SHOWER ENCLOSURE FOR OUR MASTER BATH. THE TECHNICIAN WHO DID THE INSTALLATION WAS PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. THE FINISHED PRODUCT LOOKS OUTSTANDING!! NOT THE CHEAPEST COMPANY OUT THERE, BUT DEFINITELY THE BEST.

NO ONE ELSE WOULD COME TO DO SUCH A SMALL JOB LIKE THIS. THEY CAME OUT, MEASURED, ORDERED IT, AND WITHIN 2 WEEKS COMPLETED THE JOB. NO MATTER WHO I TALKED TO IN THE COMPANY, THEY WERE POLITE, INTERESTED AND FOLLOWED THROUGH.
