Description of Work: I bought a groupon for a furnace clean and check. When I called to make the appointment, the first available time was over 6 weeks later....which was disappointing. But once they did get there, everything went very well. It took about an hour. The technician was very polite and professional and checked everything out. Since the groupon was for a clean and check, I was a bit surprised that they did not have a clean filter to install. They just showed me where the filter went and I had to go buy it and install it myself.

Description of Work: When Brad came to do a heating maintenance check at our house, he found our circulator pump needed to be replaced. He quickly ordered the part and rushed it because he saw that we had an infant in the house and the weather was getting colder. He initiated all this and I really appreciated it!! Dennis came out the next day to install the pump and our home is now warm and cozy!!

Mike Restano made sure everything was spec'd out to our satisfaction, and the guys that showed up to do the work were very efficient and polite, and left their work area cleaner than when they started! Will definitely be using Restano again for other plumbing, heating, and cooling needs!

He didn't try to push anything on us and knew what we needed. The installers where very good and worked until the job was finished, also cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend them to my neighbors, and will call them again in the future.

Description of Work: My niece had recently dealt with this company with very positive results, and so I called them to get a price on installing whole house airconditioning. I made an appointment and Mike Retano came and explained what was available and we settled on a particular unit. We set the date of installation for 8/9/10. The workers (Mike and Glen) arrived on time, worked quietly and diligently, separately and together, and the AC was installed that day. I live in a city neighborhood where the houses are quite close, and we try not to infringe on each other's property. I can tell you that I don't think there was one piece of dust/dirt that they didn't clean up. That meant a lot to me.

Description of Work: Called Restano for a second price since I thought another one was high for an ac unit. The estimate was much lower (almost $2000). However, discussing the actual size of the ac was different than the size of the furnace which had been replaced in January 2009 by another company. Ron, from Restano, explained this to me, knowing that he might lose my business,. He suggested I contact the other company who had put in the wrong size furnace. I did that and Phillips Heating sent an engineer to measured my house and indeed informed me that they would replace my new furnace to a 5ton, which they did and also met the price of the estimate by Restano. To me, Restano was extremely ethical and professional. Even though I did not use them, I would recommend them highly to anyone.
