I met with Mike Restano and he was friendly and professional. I explained everything I wanted, and with a bunch of caveats. He offered up a few different options and we agreed on a plan of action. I was in a time crunch as I was leaving on a two week vacation and wanted the new boiler in before I left. His crew showed up and in three days got all the work done. They were courteous and clean. They left the place in as good a shape as they found it. The work appears to be fine. The boiler and combined hot water tank has been getting it's workout since November and there have been no problems. I spoke with Mike several times during the whole process and he was always knowledgeable and friendly and I think I got a reasonable deal. Possibly not the cheapest installation, but he was a lot cheaper than another quote I got, and I was happy to pay slightly more to ensure a quality job.

This company was the only one out of several that we called and called us back. We were without heat and they came right away and fixed the problem. The gas pressure on our water heater and the furnace was very low. They discovered a leak in a line in the yard. The gas company worked along side them and commended their work as well. They dug up the yard and fixed the leak. We appreciate their fast detective work. They were very good.

It went well, the first crew tried to fix the old water heater but the connections were shot so in went a new heater. I had them install a catch pan I provided and level the tank as it seemed to be sinking through the floor. Concrete board was put under the pan. New Ball shut off and it worked well. We used the water and the blow off valve would leak. I called them and they came out 2 days later to repair and in stall an expansion tank. Local hardware store said to install 175 PSI pressure regulator, a very bad Idea. Steve was the guy who came the second time and was so easy to do business with. I needed about $3000 of work done on a rental that Restano now has the business.

Technician arrived on time. Told me what he was going to do and finished the job in a timely manner. Even cleaned up after himself.

The serviceman called ahead of time to let us when he was coming for the check up. He also explained everything he did and we will be using him again in a few weeks to repair the leak they spotted on our furnace.

I honestly don't remember the cost, but they were very pleasant and they gave us options to choose from. There was no pushing or forcefulness with the sales pitch; they just told us what they could do and let us make a decision.

We got three bids prior to this one. They were all about the same, but they had the most creative way to redoing the system. They hired different contractors for the floor and bedroom. I like that they came out and stuck with their estimate, coming on time and cleaning up.

What I liked about Restano is that they came at my beckon call, they seemed to know what they are doing, and they let me know what the cost was upfront before doing any work. I really appreciated that. I can't say exactly how much it was that I paid; it was expensive, but they did good work.

The work was expensive, but they were on time and very service oriented. They did the job when they arrived and cleaned up when they were finished. They fixed the part and the boiler works fine now. The only thing I didn't like was the price.

WHEN I EXPRESSED CONCERN ABOUT INSUFFICIENT COOLING IN MY BEDROOM, THE SALES PERSON CAME BACK ACCOMPANIED BY THE MANUFACTURERS LOCAL SERVICE SUPERVISOR WHO ADJUSTED MY REGISTERS AND PROVIDED HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS. ALL IN ALL, A HIGHLY SATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE.

Very well - we are very pleased. The plumber was professional, clean, and efficient. He was here much longer than expected, but he did not rush - he was thorough. The plumber was also pleasant and took time to explain the work that needed to be done and what he was doing.

The installers arrived on time and got right to work. They quickly had our old furnace removed and the new one in place. They installed appropriate ducts and ran pipes for the air conditioner. The A/C install went quickly. The only problem was with the thermostat - the first one they installed was defective. However, they realized the issue right away and called to have a new one delivered. It was here within the hour and they completed the installation in the allotted 2 days. They cleaned up everything very well. We have no complaints.

It went great! I was extremely pleased from start to finish. The gentleman who gave me the estimate never pushed anything on me, but told me what my smartest options were, both in the short and long term. They arrived to start the job on time, and were extremely courteous. It only took them a day and a half to complete the job, and they were professional, efficient, and cleaned up everything. They also answered all of my questions. I would recommend this company highly.

Completed on time; Exceptional job!!! Although I will not use again for 30 years, I would hire again. He discussed the system and made very good and reasonable recommendations. The work was excellent and his workers were very professional. He came out to work with the crew everyday (Owner).

They have excellent customer service and I would recommend them to anyone. They make sure to answer all of my questions and are very friendly. I was very pleased with this company because they are honest and dependable. They are great to do business with.

Excellent company! I will be using them again. On time and very professional. Good bid process. Knew what to measure and listened to our concerns. Revised initial bid as requested and did everything on time. Installation was not perfect but acceptable, and again on time, done cleanly and addressed our concerns.

What a pleasure dealing with a company that actually cares about the customer. My mother-in-law, a sprite 86 year old, told me her 26 year old furnace was red-tagged during a pre-winter service. It had a cracked heat exchanger and needed to be replaced. They gave her an estimate which seemed very high. As cold weather was fast approaching, I called several heating companies trying to arrange for a "second opinion" so that the furnace could be replaced. Only one, Restano Heating and Cooling, answered my call and had a sales representative speak to me (the other four told me they had to have someone call me back later - and later never came). The representative told me he could meet me at my mother-in-laws that afternoon to evaluate the furnace. He arrived exactly on time, measured the house for a new furnace, quoted me a price for a Carrier unit and arranged for next day installation all at a price several hundred less than the first quote. The installation was completed as promised.

He gave me helpful tips on maintaining the system and he also went over the type of furnace it is. Very nice and knowledgeable and took his time to explain and answer all of my questions.

I bought a new home that had a recently installed top of the line Wallman furnace. These are very expensive. It was installed by Restano. As far as I can tell the instillation was done properly as there was corrosion throughout. They said it was a defect in the product. After I bought the house the ignitor needed to be replaced. Then the internal and external pumps failed. The internal pump was under warranty, but external pump which was only about 2 yrs old was no longer under warranty. They installed the wrong external pump though originally. They put in a 1/8 horse when it should have been a 1/4 horse. After some negotiating they agreed to change the external pump and just charge for parts and not labor. It took about a week for the initial service call and about 2-3 weeks to schedule the repair. They never sent me out the invoice or receipt for the work they have done. I am reluctantly married to them since they installed the furnace, but otherwise I would look elsewhere.

We were very pleased with Restano's from our first phone call to their last day of work. Their solution was creative, even though we knew it would be complicated. Mike Restano came out several times to explain things to us, then he came again to consult with his technician, and then twice more to get his guys started and to inspect the final outcome. The workmen were polite, careful, and very skillful. They showed up promptly every day and worked hard. We highly recommend them.

They were on time. They finished on time. They put down drop cloths so that my floors were protected and they cleaned up so well that I couldnt even tell they had been there. Before they left, they gave me excellent instructions on using the thermostats.

Mike Restano spent about an hour inspecting my system even though you (or perhaps others who advertised free) said it would only be a free estimate for a complete replacement. I told him I couldn't proceed until I sold my condo, yet he gave me a full explanation. The installers were great, with the one exception that they did not anticipate what information I needed and I didn't know what questions to ask them. I could have avoided calling to see if there was something wrong, if they had told me what to expect. Also, they could only say the building was 33 years old and that improvements would require major damage to new wallpaper, etc. Later, I spoke to Mike who was better able to offer suggestions, which may or may not solve the problem. He spoke against my idea of using a wireless thermostat, because he only had used it with a very few customers and they had gas not electric systems. I admire people who are expert enough to be comfortable saying, "I don't know."

I got 3 estimates & Restano's was the lowest. Since it was early March, they were able to schedule the job within days. Mike Restano, who managed the project, was always pleasant & prompt, & the crew showed up on time & were friendly & efficient (they were especially nice to my dog, who turned out to be impossible to confine anyplace where they didn't need to be). Installing the ductwork was a complicated & messy job. They worked on it full time so it was done as quickly as possible. The outdoor compressor unit was a new model that wasn't available until May. When it was shipped, Restano scheduled a time to install it right away &, again, they showed up when promised & did the job quickly. A few days after the installation the temperature went into the 90s, & the system has worked fine so far.
