Our central air system was blowing air, but unfortunately it wasn't cold. We found this out right at the inside temp reached 80. Restano was able to send a tech the next day. He arrived and was able to quickly diagnose the problem after I described the situation. He charged the system with R22, did a quick check for obvious problems/leaks, & gave us a few pointers on servicing the A/C. The refrigerant cost $38 for the first pound and $25/lb after that. Although he told me the cost before charging the system, I was figuring it would take maybe 2 pounds. I was a little surprised to find out it was 7 pounds for $188. Labor is fairly expensive also with this company. Accepted angies list coupon. Overall, glad it was a quick fix and happy to have our central air back.

He called me back and was arrogant. He said it was $150.00 for an emergency service call and he said he wouldn?t do anything until Monday unless the furnace went below 40 degrees. He just seemed like we were bothering him. We went with another company, and it turned out the fan belt was loose and needed to be tightened.

The sales process to installation was very smooth. Ron, the sales rep was very knowledgeable and described the benefits and trade-offs of each model. The guys who installed the heat pump were quick and neat with the installation. Everyone I encountered at Restano was friendly and they made me feel at ease with my purchase decision.

Restano came out to install a humidifier in our basement. We had gotten quotes from several other companies and their prices were on par with the quotes we received. The technician was very punctual and installed the humidifier with, what I thought, was no problems. A few days later I noticed that our basement rug was soaked through. The tech installed the drain line incorrectly. He was draining it outside where it had frozen and backed up into our basement. We called the 24 hour service number and a new tech showed up within a few hours. He turned off the humidifier and explained that the line was installed incorrectly. Some one was then scheduled to come out the next morning to dry out the basement and correct the issue. The following day they corrected the issue and did dried out the basement with large fans. I'm still concerned about mold and will need to keep an eye out. I do give them credit for their quick response but was pretty disappointed that it was installed wrong in the first place. They would've gotten an A if wouldn't have been for that issue but their quick and thorough response was impressive.

When he bought a part, he brought back the old part and gave it to me. He let me have the old part so that I could see and I really respected the honesty. I like their work.

The man from Restano came promptly, inspected and cleaned the unit and checked for any further repairs needed. There were none and the cost was exactly as told to me on the phone.

The A/C broke on one of the hottest days of the year. Our technician returned my call promptly and was at my home within an hour. He gave me two possibilities as to the cause of the problem. He replaced one part but the unit continued to malfunction. Unfortunately, we had to replace the second part to get things running. Our technician promised to return the next day at a time that was convenient for me; he called the next morning to confirm everything, arrived on time and replaced the second part. He was very professional and knowledgeable and explained the system operation and malfunction thoroughly. He even referred me to the company Website so that I could print a coupon to lower my price.

I am happy with their work. My only complaint is that the permits were not applied for when the work was complete. The work was done right before Christmas, so I can understand that the paperwork was delayed.

I had a very positive experience. My furnace was making strange noises. I called Restano after finding them highly rated on Angie's List. A technician was at my home withing two hours. He (Jason) was very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. I knew the furnace was old. He showed me what was wrong with a fiber-optic camera. He recommended replacement. The replacement crew, one week later was equally impressive. Their work was very neat. Again, they were very professional.

They were very good at providing service. The technician called me and asked me a bunch of questions and I explained what had happened. He came out with the part that I needed and didn't have to go to a parts store. With the questions that he asked me on the phone he had determined the problem and come out prepared. There was only one gentleman who came out to do the work. He did the work in about an hour and I was getting normal heat again.

Price was determined with company on the phone prior to setting up appointment, technician arrived on time as scheduled, and seemed comfortable with servicing older units, even though he wasn't familiar with the specific brand. Replaced filters on 2 units, gave the other 2 filters to me to wash (i.e. permanent filters), he vacuumed the units, checked wiring, cleaned thermostats, etc. The only criticism I had was that a lot of debris had fallen into the grills on top of the units, and he could only slide the grills aside on 2 units to vacuum out the construction debris. I spent a hour myself with a hammer and screwdriver and vacuum to clean the other two, after I figured out how to open the grilles on those. All it would have taken on his part was more effort and time to remove the top grilles which were stuck in place due to age. Overall, units seem to be working fine now, with better temperature balance. He left extra filter material for me to replace in the fall, and recommended a once a year visit for maintenance.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and corteous. He even took his shoes off at the door, and carried them to the basement before putting them back on.

Things were off and running duplex utilities separated and new drain line installed. System vented out the side of the building and tub was set. Steve was the main guy and Frank did the Cast drain (the only good part of the job). I noticed that some 2 in copper walked off the jobsite from the boiler I demo ed but I really was not that worried about it until I scrapped my old lines and they were worth a bundle. Called Steve direct and he was at another job site the day he was supposed to be on mine. I got a call requesting $3000.00 and I paid it. Thinking we were almost done, I was told that a big job did not pay and they wanted to ensure I would pay. I did. Steve was in and out at times but finally finished all work requested. Another $3000.00 for a total of $6000.00. Way too much for the work performed. I paid it. Steve no longer works for them as told by Frank at another call I used them for. I wonder why seems Peter was robbing Paul to pay Sam if you will on time and job sites. I am a rookie at this and I got taken. I will not make this mistake again. I should have got a written estimate and timetable - again rookie mistake.

This was as professional a job as it can get. The office staff was courteous and helpful. The sales rep was knowledgeable and didn't pressure me at all. The crew who did the job were total gentlemen. No cursing or rude behavior like other contractors I've used. All of these services were provided in a very timely fashion, which was a huge relief. I found out my unit went out this morning and they replaced the old one with this new one promptly today. There were no added/hidden fees after the work was completed, either.
