From the initial call for the estimate through to the completion of the install, I could not have been more pleased with the overall level of service and professionalism. Mike Restano spent a good deal of time reviewing our current units and explaining the options available and then gave us a great estimate for the job. From the women at the office who handle the service calls and the appointment schedules through to the installers, I couldn't be more pleased. I know that in the very near future, our other furnace and air conditioner will need to be replaced as they are also 21 years old and I know the only call I will be making is to Mike Restano at Restano Plumbing, Heating & Cooling!!!

Restano Heating and cooling proved to be a highly professional organization. I was impressed with the work done by Ron Kitsko the sales rep who thoroughly measured and worked to ensure that we were getting the correct equipment. He was patient and knowledgeable in explaining the options available to us. The Installation team arrived promptly and worked diligently to get the work done. Both Bruce and Zack are to be commended for their hard work and professionalism. Zack in particular was tasked with the job of installing air ducts in a crawl space that barely had room for him to maneuver, he did a great job! Bruce handled questions and took his time to do excellent work. The office staff is very professional and quick to return calls and handled the paperwork promptly. I strongly recommend Restano Heating and Cooling.

Great. Michael stopped by a few times to check and make modifications he thought would make the system work more efficiently, and the crew minimized the mess, and had the system up and running in 4.5 days. The initial test was great, and the next test will come on the next 94 degree day. The qualitiy of all the work, such as the platforms to support the units, vent placement, runs in the attic (which will allow for electrical work to progress easily) was great. There price was almost half of Metro, and some other company on Angies list, for our job. I also was impressed by the custom fabrication to fit our specs.

Restano came highly recommended from Angie's List, and I can see why. They gave us the best estimate of the several contractors we had in, they found problems that others missed, and they really inspired confidence that we were making the right choices. Once we decided to go ahead, they scheduled us quickly. They arrived promptly Monday morning and finished right on schedule - and the system works great now that they're gone. I was impressed by how tidy they were. Unlike the last several contractors we've had in, they swept up thoroughly after themselves when they finished - in fact, they pretty much cleaned up after the last contractor too! They were very thorough about removing the old systems, even removing an obsolete drain hose that ran all the way across the basement ceiling. The work they did upstairs to add new registers was OK, but not up to the excellent standards of the furnace and AC installation downstairs.

They were very professional and courteous. They were very fast and I would recommend them.

I was very impressed. I had called a different company about a month before about the relief valve issue and was very uncomfortable as it seemed they were guessing at the problem. Restano came out the same day I called and Jason was able to diagnose the problems and explain to me exactly what was wrong, why it happens, and how it was causing the problems I was seeing. Despite it being a long job (3-4 hours to fix), he made some phone calls and was able to pick up the parts and fix it the same day. I can't comment on price as I did not get any other quotes.

This company stands by their workmanship. The office staff is kind and helpful. The workmen are knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.

Overall, this was a very good experience. The sales meeting was informative and professional. The installation crew was professional and efficient and the office staff provided good communication for scheduling the work. I would highly recommend them.

A few years ago, we had to have a gas line replaced from the street to our basement. It was during February and we were without heat for a few days. We called several companies and Restano was the only company that responded. They were able to promptly come-out and fix the issue. We have nothing but positive things to say about the company.

Service performed as expected although I was disappointed that the technician did not accept my Angies List $25 coupon because he said it did not apply to seasonal maintenance...the coupon plainly states ANY service call. I plan on calling the office on Monday and inquiring further but overall it was a good experience.

Extremely professional and were also able to relocate the unit for us (the old one had been sitting right next to our porch). They got there early, worked quickly and everything was extremely well done. We will definitely be calling them again when we need maintenance done on the A/C unit or our existing furnace and heating system.

The lead time for scheduling a routine maintenance check with Restano was 3-4 weeks. I guess they are understandably busy. I decided to use them anyways b/c of a great experience I had with Restano for fixing my central a/c. The tech arrived right on schedule and I had a pre-arrival phone call as well. He inspected the furnace, removed a few parts to vacuum then re-installed the same parts. Unfortunately, the tech wasn't very personable. I prefer to learn about the systems installed in my house and get any tips and tricks from the experts. However, he remained tight-lipped. Even when asking about installing a new whole house humidifier, which would have been a sale for him and his Restano, he just said "yeah, we install those." I don't see the cost justification for spending 89 dollars so he can vacuum my furnace. I guess if he found something broken it would have been justified although then I'd probably get charged even more.

They were extremely thorough, wore booties to make sure they didn't dirty the floor, and got the heater fixed. I'm very pleased with their work.

The young man who came to service my home was courteous. I did not have him install the new valve for my plumbing system. I didn't feel it was necessary. And it turns out, I was right and didn't need to spend the $450 on a new valve. I haven't had any trouble since having someone else come and service the issue.

This to me was a huge job and I frankly had my concerns. The entirety of the project went so well and there were so many stars in this show: - John, the salesman who clearly dealt well with crazies like me (I'm an engineer and I spent WAY too much time considering every aspect of this) and tirelessly got me the info I needed quickly. - Crystal, the Restano ombudsperson who also kept the trains running on time, - Ryan, the primary installer who got things done no matter what - Zack, the high wire guy who could fit into all the places that... well, Ryan just couldn't - Bruce, the guy who has been around the block more than a few times There were a couple of other folks who stopped by over the two days of install, and I apologize for not remembering their names. I'm actually bad with names and this if anything should be some indicator of how impressed I was with the crew. These guys knew their stuff. They worked with me and I was more than willing to work with them to be sure I got the system I wanted. The sum total of everything simply overwhelmed anything I could quibble about.

Very impressed with entire operation. Michael Restano came three times to discuss various options for installing air conditioning in our old house with hot water radiator heating. The ductless solution was best for us since it was 1) cheaper and 2) less disruptive than installing ductwork inside our home for more traditional whole house air conditioning. The Mitsubishi heat pump units also give us some backup heating should we need it. The installation was done in a day and a half by two very competent professionals with Michael personally directing the work at the beginning and checking the final installation. All the outside piping was hidden with plastic conduit covers so everything looks quite good, inside and out. The Mitsubishi air conditioning/heat pump units are incredibly efficient and extraordinarily quiet, including the outdoor compressor/condensors. Since the units we selected are eligible for this year's full $1500 federal tax credit, our effective cost was only $5900. We definitely would recommend Restano Plumbing Heating and Cooling.

HVAC evaluation and work was very professional and cost effective - best we've had. Plumbing work turned out fine, but on first dispatch the plumber was dismissive of input, misdiagnosed the problem and failed to fix the issue. On a return trip the problem was corrected, but the plumber insisted on charging a second visitation fee to complete the work and then failed to relight the water heater pilot, which we had to do on our own upon realizing the issue. Restano was very responsive in refunding the visitation fee. We'd be pleased to reuse Restano for plumbing upon the condition that we get a different plumber.

Got 3 quotes from companies o the list. Michael gave us most confidence and presented different options. Arrived as scheduled. Worked quickly and cleanly. Great job and the system works well.

Great! The 3 man crew arrived promptly on Monday morning at 8:45am just as promised. They began the work of removing the old furnace and AC and had the bulk of the work completed by 2pm that day. The second morning the crew arrived at approximately the same time and resumed work of installing a custom plenum to connect the top of the furnace to the duct work. My salesman Ron Kitsko provided me with a tall 23" evaporator coil to achieve the highest efficiency possible for my system, so it needed some TLC to get it to fit. The job really turned out nice. Very professional install and the crew left the place very tidy. Kudos to Ron and his crew at Restano's. Highly recommend these folks!

Overall, I had an excellent experience with Restano. First and foremost everyone was incredibly professional and punctual. I called them for a second opinion, after I discovered what I thought was another HVAC contractor gouging us to replace the condenser unit and coil. While it was verifiably dead, the other company (who was poorly organized and had poor customer service) offered us a "good deal" on a no-name, builder special unit. It turns out that for about the same price, I was able to get a decent name brand replacement using an Angie?s List coupon they offered. In my case though, I upgraded to one with sound reduction and a slight efficiency increase. The tech showed up about an hour after I called for an appointment, as opposed to the other contractor, who I waited 10 hours for, after being placed on the list the day before. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and was willing to answer all of my questions and did his best to get me squared away, since our two dogs were suffering with the heat and humidity. Unlike the other, so left a screw driver jammed in the condenser, he actually explained why the condenser failed, and why it made no sense to just replace the compressor. While he was unable to reach the scheduler, he assured me that it would be taken care ASAP. It took about a week for an appointment, which to me seemed slightly longer than necessary, but they're a large company and are likely booked well in advanced for these longer duration projects. The install though took a lot less time than they had budgeted for. Mike and Dan showed up at 8 am on the dot and after introducing themselves and explaining what the plan was, they went to work. At about 11 am, the unit was up and running, and the job was completed sans fine cleanup. After a quick lunch break, they were back and finished the job after ensuring all the pressure levels were correct and the unit was working properly. In the end, they did an awesome job with the install and the cleanup. I will use them again.

Everything went well. They underbid the competition by $700.00 and did the work after the competition said it was not possible. The job was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally as well.
