Excellent service and very fast response. Our furnace/heat pump was making an unusual sound and not starting up smoothly. I called Restano on Saturday at 11:30 am. I asked about the emergency service charge and they explained that the fee was for call-outs during non-normal business hours but I could also schedule for Monday to avoid the fee and just pay for parts and labor. We chose to have the emergency service and they arrived at the house at 1 pm. Nice, friendly and knowledgable repairman. He fixed the problem in less than an hour and the furnace works great. I had never used Angie's List before and subscribed just to find a recommendation for this repair. I going to have Restano back to do some other work that we have been planning.

Overall, I was happy with the service. Dennis was friendly and knowledgeable. He let me know the issues that needed fixed and I had him address them. He also took a look at the vent and return in my guestroom. He had mentioned that we were getting air up there. Restano has also installed our air conditioner about 2 years ago and he asked if we were given deflector. I had said we were not and he said he would make sure that someone dropped a box off for us. He said he believed that they would help and he also advised us to clear a little more space around the return. He also took a look at the ductwork in the basement that went up to the room and didn't notice any issues there.

The installer arrived on time, was respectful of my family and home while working, was neat and cleaned up following installation.

The installation was done quickly, competently and very neatly. They installed when they said they would - they called ahead to let me know exactly when they would be there. Overall, my experience was excellent. I would recommend them without hesitancy. I also got a discount because I mentioned that I saw them on Angie's List.

The installers were punctual and pleasant. All the work was outside the house, so I was able to go to work. When I came home at the end of the day, the work was completed, the house locked and the new unit was humming! Restano did a terrific job at much less cost than other suppliers. We have had the unit a month now (over some very hot days) and the house has been nice and cool. In fact, we turned the thermostat up a bit as it was so efficient. Great job! Good deal! What more can we say?

The good: Salesman (Ron) showed up on time and was very professional. Took measurements, explained everything and knew answers to all my questions. Put half down to schedule and paid other half upon completion of work. Installers were on time and worked fast. It was a very clean professional looking install. They also finished ahead of schedule. The bad: 1. My old furnace had a good bit of rust fall out of it on the driveway. I expected them to sweep all of it into a garbage can but instead decided to sweep the missed pieces into my lawn to the side of my driveway. Some of the pieces were large bacon size chunks. After doing such a great job that seemed kinda sloppy. And since it was in the grass, I couldn't exactly sweep it out so I had to pluck the pieces out by hand. 2. The water pump they installed to pump condensation failed after 1 week. They replaced it next day with a new unit.3. The salesman and installer did not give me the paperwork I needed for my $700 rebate from the gas company as promised. A nice lady at the office took care of it for me however forgot to sign the paperwork and I had to drive out to their office on Rt 8 to have someone sign it. Still waiting on the rebate from gas company. I'm not holding my breath. Overall I was very pleased and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have this type of work done. I've dealt with contractors in the past and 9 out of 10 are complete screw ups. Many of whom either do a terrible job or take full payment and and never come back to finish. So besides the couple items listed above, these guys were PERFECT!

called Restano wasnt emergency furance was running because of time igniter was in furance wanted it replaced. Following week repairmen came in window of time set forth replaced igniter and all was warm all winter :)

f irst,the service call was $49.00 !! thats reasonable, and if they do anything, its taken off the bill. They tried to help straighten out a repair another local company failed on, and then we got a new furnace. the service tech was extremely knowledgeable and had everything in writing, which I was given a copy of. when we decided to replace our furnace, he had the prices of several different furnaces and it was the bottom line, no add on for taxes,installation or anything else, and their office then helped out with filling out our rebate.I only wish i would have started with them, when i first had the furnace problem.

I called my regular HVAC guys (not Restano) when my first floor heater quit on a cold Sunday and they did not have an answering service.So I got on Angies list and called Restano. They had a person answering their phones at 10 AM on a Sunday. She said a technician would be in touch shortly.The technician called about an hour later. Asked me questions about my situation and determined that a part would be needed and he could not be able to get the part until Monday as all of the part stores are closed on Sunday.In short he was able to save me a bundle of money by being up front, honest and professional. My regular HVAC guys came on Monday AM, a part was needed, and it was covered under warranty.

Restored my heat situation, price was excellent. After heat was restored, performed carbon monoxide testing at no additional charge, and without being asked.

Well, we had them for quite a few years now. They have been taking care of our heating system. We have been very pleased with their work. We would use them in the future again.

It was fixed in 15 minutes. They were professional and explained everything. They arrived within the 4 hour time window-- I just wish the window had been 2 hours instead of 4.

Initial service person did a complete inspection of old furnace and determined that it could not be repaired. Explained the problem and provide three replacement options with complete price for each. Installation team arrived right on time, staff was knowledgable, polite and they worked in an efficient and professional manner. All old furnace parts were removed, basement was left in a clean and organized state. Final bill was exactly what had been estimated.

The installers arrived at 8:10 for an 8:00am start and were finished by 4:30. I was able to take advantage of a discount they offered ,as well as a Carrier promotion and got a better system for about the same price as another less efficient one.Also they were considerably less cost than the same system from another Angies list company.

He showed up on time, explained how the furnace worked and that the operation of the furnace was good. Ran tests and cleaned what needed to be cleaned. No hard sell on new filter. I was very pleased.

They gave us a quick appointment, called to confirm, called again right before the serviceman came. The person who came was knowledgeable and courteous. Will definitely use them again (furnace is 25 years old, so will probably have other problems).

Great experience. Very professional. Restano worked with me to discuss options for my radiator-heated home, to give multiple quotes so I could weigh the alternatives, and to get the specific system I wanted (Mitsubishi mini-split with an attic vented air handling unit upstairs and a wall-mounted unit downstairs). They even researched to find a wireless thermostat option at my request. They called multiple times to update me on status of the order and options and to schedule the job. They were responsive when I called. Surprisingly clean installation. Friendly, knowledgeable, honest workers answered questions as I had them and responded to requests, including adding an attic fan. We haven't had any super-hot days since installation, but the system has worked great so far. It's so quiet I can hardly tell it's on, and it cools well. It took a week for their subcontract carpenter to come out to patch the hole they made in the ceiling to get the large air handling unit into the attic, but he did a fine job.

They are very prompt in scheduling. They come out and take care of all the issues. I rate them high overall.
