Our house is a split level and there are 3 zones for heat. Lower, first and second floors. Dennis arrived within a couple of hours after being called. He was very courteous and professional. He called in a second fellow and I'm sorry I don't recall his name. They worked together to replace the broken pipes on the second floor and got the boiler working. They got the first and second floor zones operating, which are the two main living areas but because the lower level zone was frozen, Dennis turned that zone off and returned the next two days, hoping that the space heaters would have thawed the pipes. Unfortunately, he was at the mercy of mother nature. The temperature was just too cold and the pipes needed to thaw. In about a week Dennis returned again and this time he was able to get the lower level zone working. He went above and beyond, returning 3 different times in order to complete the job. I would highly recommend Restano's. The level of integrity and customer service exhibited by Dennis was so refreshing and he's a real asset to the company.

I called at 11 am today because my furnace was not behaving properly, leaving the house around 60 degrees. The technician (Jason) arrived just after noon and had the issue resolved within an hour. By the time I got home from work the temperature in the house was restored. It was completely unexpected that someone would be able to show up today, let alone an hour after I called. Many thanks for your prompt response and quick solution to the problem!

I called this other company before Christmas of last year because my one room was not heating up and it was cold and he kept throwing me off and I thought it is Christmas and he is busy and wasn’t worried because it wasn’t an emergency. I called him in January and he kept putting me off and finally I just got to the point whether to take this guy as he didn’t want to be bothered with me or that’s just his natural way. I am tired of waiting around and I want something done about it now and why it was not heating it up. I called Restano and they did come in couple of days. He looked at it and fixed it and told me what the problem was. He was on his way. He was very good and I like him a lot. I don’t even know that what I am saying is really of use or validity for your list. I am not trying to be mean to anybody. I had them here for the air conditioning two years ago but the other company gave much lower price so I let them install it. I did call Restano because they are local in my neighborhood and they came out right away whereas the other person kept giving excuses. The guy was very helpful and answered questions. After I hung up the phone after I scheduled an appointment with them I called back because I forgot to ask them if he is the member of Angie’s List and maybe that might score me some points when they come here. They said it didn’t matter if I was an Angie’s List member. He did good and fixed the problem. The price was average. It was $69 and they said if they had to do detailed amount of work they would include that $69 and no extra price. He charged and was out of the door. The quality of work was good and it looked like he knew what he was doing. The person’s name was Jason and he was professional and kind. I was just pleased to have him in the bedroom and my bedroom was real chilly and it was a minor problem and it wasn’t anything major.

We called Restano and despite the snow and many calls, they got to us by midday. Eric identified the problem and gave us an estimate to repair. Because of the age of the furnace and air conditioner, we elected to replace both. Eric got the furnace going to get us to 7:30 a.m. on 1.22, when Ryan and his colleague arrived to install the new equipment. They did a great job: plastered holes, cleaned up, and gave us a detailed explanation of how everything worked prior to leaving.

They told me that a part in the motor should be replaced, and that I'd likely have the same issue again. In November, after coming home from light-up night activities, the temperature in my house was 58 degrees. It was during a bitter cold snap. I called Restano at 10:45 pm. They were at my house within the hour, and by 12:30 pm had my furnace running again. I ordered the damaged part, which came in within a week. Restano credited the 11/19/14 service call charges off my parts bill and replaced the damaged part within 20 minutes of arriving. So far, so good! My furnace has been running great and my house has been very warm. I will definitely call Restano again, if needed.

I gave the provider a "B" in responsiveness because they could not schedule an appointment for a month after I called them, but I'm not overly concerned with that as it was not an emergency. A few years ago when I called with a furnace not working they did come when I called them after midnight. I was well satisfied. The technician spent about two hours performing the work. In the past others have been done in a half hour or so. Prior to the work being done the furnace was tripping the breaker 2 or 3 times daily but hasn't done it since. In addition the technician informed me that my chimney had been relined, apparently by a prior owner. If anyone else had bothered to determine this they never informed me. The technician stated that it was necessary to plan to replace the furnace soon as the heat exchanger was starting to fail. It was not failed yet so I could use the furnace but it may or may not make it through the season. He gave me a price on a replacement, which was comparable to other prices I obtained later. I would have liked to give them the furnace replacement but quite truthfully their financing options are not good, as they only have a 12 months same as cash with a 29% interest rate back to Day 1 if not paid in the 12 months. My cash flow can't absorb that so I went with another company that had a 6.99% fixed interest rate for 84 months. I would really recommend the company explore offering other payment options, as I would have liked to have given them the business based on this and past service contacts. My air conditioner is the same age as the now replaced furnace(Dec 17th) and I would like to give them a shot at this business when it quits running. As avoiding an AC failure is not as critical as avoiding a furnace failure I'll simply let the AC run until it stops, and then replace it without bothering to even have it looked at. However, financing aside, the company's services are high quality and professional and I highly recommend them.

I asked them to check out air conditioning which was leaking water down through my furnace. Good thing because we caught it before it ruined the furnace. I need to have the air conditioner replaced. This was on a Tuesday and could not be done that day and I did not want to take another day off work and the technician was willing to come on a Saturday to install the unit. They did an excellent job and would use them again.

He fixed it but he started out with a bad attitude. He came in my house with a bad attitude but I paid them over $5000 for something and it broke down and I froze on it. I should be the one that should have had the bad attitude and then he changed it. As soon as I said something, he changed his attitude and he said he'd put a new filter in. Their price was reasonable. It broke down already and I had more problems with it. He was late coming back to fix the furnace. I would use them again for repairs. I paid them for a new furnace so I have to use them again.

We had the furnace cleaned. The technician was very thorough and carefully cleaned everything. He even cleaned out the pump housing which channels the water away. He was professional and friendly. He was running late due to traffic, so even though not right on time, it was understandable. Very pleased.

They budgeted substantially lower than the other firms. They scheduled the job within two weeks. They performed the job in three days. They were professional and clean. They made sure we were satisfied before they left. The A/C system has been working efficiently and very quietly since installation. We are very happy with the results.

Called them Monday morning to schedule an AC drain clog which a handyman had pointed out as source water leak in the attic. The soonest they could send was Wednesday. Since the AC was switched off, there was no water leak and fortunately no need for AC either due to nice weather. The guy came and did the job professionally. Recommended other things too that we will look into. Couple of days later, a burning smell started to come. Came out again and told us it was the furnace not the AC. Didnt charge for this visit. Few days later the water started leaking again. Asked to send someone, soonest was 4 days later. We went with another company that sent someone next day.

Go filter was more expensive than going to store to buy.

I called Restano this AM, based on a good rating from a co-worker, as our A/C drain clogged up over the Labor Day weekend. They came out this afternoon and Scott had me fixed up and ready to go in under an hour. He was extremely personable, and very knowledgeable about his craft. We talked for a few moments about replacing our current system, and how to improve A/C and heating to our third floor. They definitely earned my business for A/C & furnace maintenance. They've also earned a shot at my business for a new A/C & furnace unit when the current unit goes belly up.

They were good to work with! They completed the work exactly when and how they said they would. They were very neat, professional, and prompt. We were very pleased with them and we would hire them again if we needed any repairs.

Jason is a very experienced heating and cooling expert that was patient and honest in answering our questions. We felt very comfortable with his assessment of our existing furnace and didn't feel like we had to jump into making another big purchase even though we know our equipment is nearing its end. We will have no trouble choosing him to replace it when needed.

Brian provided detailed explanation of units and scheduled installation at our convenience. Installers were punctual and very professional. They removed old units and left our residence in a very clean condition. Follow up call was needed and they responded immediately.

They are putting a new furnace in for me right now as we speak. I also had them for a quick repair on my air-conditioner about a month ago. My air-conditioner went down and I needed to find somebody quick because I have a breathing problem and I called them. They are fast, efficient, and they seem to know what they are doing. As of right now my experience with them has been excellent. The men are polite and they've been working all day. They took like a 15 minutes lunch break and that was it. They were cleaning up after themselves. It's a fuel furnace they are more expensive. I think the price is a little high. If I schedule this last week and they scheduled me right away. I will use them in the future. I will get them to do my spring and fall tuneups.

The estimator showed up on time and gave a very complete, detailed estimate. He explained all items that would be included in the job, and explained the new air conditioner specifications. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and very nice. He gave me his cell phone number as a back-up to the company phone number. I appreciated this courtesy. The installers showed up on time, worked the entire time they were here (except for a lunch break). The total time of the job was as predicted. When they were finished, they walked me through the job, and answered all of my questions. Everything looked complete and cleaned up. The only glitch in the entire process was some phone-tag mix-ups with scheduling the job. The installation was scheduled, then I got calls indicating that it really wasn't scheduled. When it was straightened out, the install date was the originally scheduled day, so there was no harm. I'm not sure why this happened, but it was the hottest week of the summer and I suspect they were being inundated with calls. The company provides an excellent packet of information with the estimate.

I have no understanding of anything to do with my central air unit I worked until late and had my unit turned off all day and when I returned from work, I turned it on. My home remained hot and muggy for a couple of hours and the pessimist in me began to assume the worst, that my unit was breaking or dying. This morning my house had cooled but I was convinced it was only because the night was slightly cooler. So anxiety aside, I called for information this morning. They were very friendly and professional. I was initially told that I could schedule a service call on Monday, very promptly. As I explained more of my problem, they provided me with an additional potential problem. They told me that when your unit is turned off in extreme heat and then turned back on, it can take a bit of extended time to fully cool the house, even several hours. Since I left my unit on while at work today, in lieu of scheduling an appointment, they said, stick it out, I bet your house is still cool when you get home. Surely enough, its nice and cool in here and they saved me (and themselves) time and money. moving forward, I'll absolutely be saving their number if I ever need service or anything else. Two thumbs WAY up!!

They were prompt in getting to the job when promised though it took a few days to schedule an appointment. They did an excellent job, fixing several leaks and assorted plumbing problems. The job was neatly done and they did only the work needed. The price came in at the top end of their estimated range, even though they discovered an unexpected leak in a nearby pipe that wasn't anticipated. They did an excellent clean up. All the drains now work very well and the replacement of the old drum trap greatly helped the drain rate of the tub. Jody did a plumbing job for us about a year ago and both times we were very pleased. We will likely use them again and recommend them to others.

I like them a lot, they are actually very good. They come out within 24 hours, sometimes even hours. The prices are usually very fair. I like that. The furnace has been working for years and they keep it going. If you buy newer equipment, if you need a furnace replaced or something, their prices are a little bit higher than comparisons.

My furnace kept cutting off and they came out to fix it with the part and they put it in. They are professional and prompt. They do a good job. I've been using them for about 11 years for now.

Excellent. I found Restano on Angie's List and noticed they had very high ratings. I actually called them for the furnace check and filter, and to have a humidifier installed. I did not know I already had a humidifier; it had been installed by the people who had the house before I did and was in a pretty hidden, hard-to-access place. The Restano technician found it, showed it to me, and noted that all I needed was a new humidifier media pad. That saved me around $300, and I was impressed that the technician found the humidifier and told me about it.

He was very good. The only thing I did not like about him is that he should put another vent in my kitchen.

I called Restano since they were close to my home on 6/25/13 when my air conditioning unit stopped working. They were very courteous and sent out a service person the next day. I didn't realize they also have 24 hour service so if you have an emergency they will be there. They serviced and repaired the unit and checked the furnace. The price was very reasonable, the serviceperson very knowledgeable and I have added them to my favorites list. I would highly recommend Restano for all HVAC needs.
