It went extremely well. I had just recently contacted Restano, seeking a firm that could service my apartments and residence on a scheduled or emergency call out for HVAC or plumbing emergency. Wouldn't you know it, tonight I had an HVAC issue and I called them and they had a representative there within two hours. This, especially since our weather really went cold within two days. The problem was repaired and the tenants had heat. Extremely pleased with the service and response. Phil

The technician arrived promptly and was very polite. He took a very brief lunch break but otherwise never stopped working. He cleaned up his work area very thoroughly afterward. The furnace was installed on Friday, and on Saturday I noticed a humming noise coming from it, so I called Restano to see if it was something to be concerned about. The on-call tech called me back almost immediately and when I described the issue, he said that as long as the furnace was working properly, he would have someone come out first thing Monday morning to check it out. He told me to call back immediately if the furnace malfunctioned and someone would come out. It worked fine over the weekend but was still making noise. I promptly received at call at 8:05 Monday morning from Restano, and a tech was there within 30 minutes. It was a very minor issue that was repaired very quickly. From beginning to end, Restano was responsive and polite and concerned about making things right, which is very refreshing in this day and age. I have used Restano for years to service my furnace and AC, and have always been treated very well. I would recommend Restano to anyone who needs HVAC service or installation.

I had to use Restano's after hours service. I promptly received a call from Matt to set up a time. He called when he was on the way. He checked the pilot light and had it up and running in no time at all, then he rechecked it. Very professional!

Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. Ron, who came for the estimate, was informative and precise. The installation was completed in a timely manner. The men were polite, helpful and neat. I would definitely use them again.

We just bought our home and were unfamiliar with a boiler. We requested a check up for the system and an education to learn how to operate the boiler and radiators. Jason showed up promptly and walked us through all the aspects of our boiler and radiators. He was very professional and shared excellent information. We are very pleased!

This is my third service from Restano in one week and I have been very happy with their work every time. We recently purchased an 80 year-old home with a boiler heating system. It needed to be cleaned and serviced, and Don from Restano came out to do the work. He did a great job and answered my many questions about the system. This was very helpful, since we have never owned a boiler before. He gave me tips on using this type of system and also gave me good advice about our old, mismatched air conditioning system when I asked questions about that. Yesterday, John from Restano was here with their sewer cam because we wanted to evaluate the condition of our terra cotta sewer lines and also figure out what was going on with the drainage from our gutters. He worked really hard for two hours sending the cam down various drains in the house and outside. He was also very good about answering a lot of questions. He found a partial clog in the main sewer line we didn't know we had (yes, I saw it too!) and we were saved a future mess by having him snake out the drain line today. He was very thorough. He also discovered that roots were clogging our main gutter drain line out to the street - another potential future mess- and snaked that line out today as well. It was hot, dirty work snaking out the outside line from the gutter but he never slowed down. The office staff on the phone at Restano has been very nice and very helpful as well. I would highly recommend Restano to anyone and I will be calling them again in the future for my plumbing and hvac needs.

It was excellent! I called at 7:15 am and they came the same day at 2:15 pm and repaired the problem. They were very nice and called before they came. The job was completed in 45 minutes. Thank You! I will definitely use them again!!!

We were very pleased with the whole process. We got an appointment and quote very quickly even though it was around the 4th of July. They installed the unit in one day, and made sure that everything was in proper order before leaving. Ron and his team were professional beginning to end.

Mr. Restano came to our house himself to provide a free estimate. Scheduling the appointment was easy and they were very accommodating to our evening only availability. Mr. Restano provided the estimate onsite, no waiting. He was honest, up front and professional. He also took the time to explain everything about the system and how it's installed. The guys that did the work were courteous and fast. It took less than 8 hours to install 1 outdoor unit and 2 indoor units. They cleaned up after themselves and were mindful of our neighbors property while they were working outside. We are so happy with our air conditioning. We have radiator heating so installing whole house central air would have been much more expensive and extensive project.

Dennis found evidence of leak near the A/C unit but was unable to identify any malfunctioning parts so ordered a full new pump unit. Upon retest prior to installation of pump unit (in hotter weather) did not observe any evidence of leaking -- performed a rooftop hose test and identified a leak from the roof causing the problem. Turns out the leak was not related to A/C at all. Despite several visits, refused to charge me anything for their time. Great experience initially with installation, and great experience again with maintenance.

The Restano team impressed us from the initial estimate visit through the 2-day AC installation process. The estimate process was thorough, informative, and provided several options for moving forward based on varying prices and services. The rep followed up quickly with additional questions I had while assessing quotes and making a decision. Restano offered clear pricing options, a discount for Angie's List members, and financing. For the installation, the team was courteous and effective. A job scheduled for 2 full days wrapped up a half-day early, and the crew left everything at the house as it was found. There was no mess, and the installation looks and works great. This was our first time working with Restano, and I would not hesitate to call them for future services.

I called Restano after not having a great experience with another HVAC company. They were very quick to reply and sent someone the next day. The gentleman was very professional and thorough. He did an assessment and found a leaky solder joint. IN THE MEANTIME, I posted a review on Angies list and received a call from the original company we used. They were very concerned and committed to quality and treating their customers well. They offered to remedy the repairs 100%. For that reason, we will let them complete the job. I wouldn't hesitate to give Restano two big thumbs up and a lot of respect.! Great team, use them!

The serviceman was excellent, walked me through the issue, showed me the parts, and explained in detail. I learned something new and now feel better about troubleshooting the system myself :)

Ken arrived promptly, performed the safety check. Left a brochure describing their maintenance plan and left. Didn't pressure me into buying their maintenance plan or anything!

This story is VERY RARE! I had scheduled my service yesterday, but due to a medical emergency, had to reschedule. The OWNER, Mike Restano, contacted me today, ON A SATURDAY, to ask what he could do to be better, and reschedule my service! WOW! This type of customer service is so rare these days, I have to rave about it. My Restano salesman (Ron), was truly a winner, and offered a great deal on a complete system several years ago. But it is the after-sales service that counts, and for this type of response, all I can say is WOW! Thanks Mike!

The technician arrived as scheduled, thoroughly examined the boiler, and made adjustments to the existing unit which solved our heating problem. He advised that the original installation was incorrect so we were only receiving a minimal amount of functionality from our very expensive boiler unit. He advised us on a schedule for ongoing maintenance and departed for his next appointment.

I did not feel the need to hover over them and worry! They were very professional, clean, and efficient! The most amazing thing was going downstairs and seeing the amazing quality within their work!

The service was prompt and professional. I thought I was going to need a new furnace and fortunately the serviceperson was able to correct the issue and the system has been working well during this very cold winter.

He was very rude, not very polite. He dismissed me on the phone call after I told him that I had compaired prices with another business.

As far as punctuality, I'm giving a D because while the company stayed in contact with me, they didn't get to the house until about 2pm even though my four hour window was 8am to 12pm. I needed a half hour notice to get myself and the agent to the house that I was buying, and that call came well after 12pm. Then when we arrived at the house, the truck still didn't show up until close to 2pm. I will say that the office called me a few times to let me know they were running late and kept me updated. That being said, the two guys that showed up were very professional, and repeatedly took their shoes on and off as they ran back and forth from the basement to the truck out in the snowy driveway. They assessed a particular concern that I had with the heating system and took the time to explain to me what I was looking at as far as repairs and life of the unit. They wrote me a quote that day, and we were able to negotiate with the seller to pay a large part of the needed adjustments. Once we close on the house, we will be using Restano to come do that repair. I would definitely use them again in the future if I needed to.

Service person was prompt, friendly, and professional. The only issue I have had with Restano's was the plumbing call we once had for a toilet repair. The man was here less than an hour and the charge was almost $400.00 which I thought was extreme since he only replaced/repaired the internal flush mechanism on three toilets. When I made the appointment, I was told that a service call would be $40.00 plus labor, which I assumed would be by the hour, so I paid over $300 an hour!!!! Wow! However, the heating part of the company has always been great. There was obviously a communication failure somewhere on the plumbing side.
