Pittsburgh Glass Block

There was a fairly big goof when they came on installation date and the windows weren't sized correctly (salesman's error). Therefore it set us back around 10 days to get them in but after that I was satisfied with the job and the price. Would've given A except for that. Also, I think more communication between office and customer would be good. I called couple of times to check on days coming because of rain etc.and felt they should've called me to give me notice.

The work and employees were awesome! They called first and arrived within 10 mins of the call. Very quiet didn't even know they were here. I was surprised at how soon they were done (approx. 1 3/4hrs). They were polite and even cleaned up both outside and inside, with even cleaning the top of my dryer and and sweeping the floor! They showed on time and were informative about the job. The installation went smoothly and they made to clean up after the job was done. It was a very good value for your money. Even though they are security windows, they still allow a lot of sunlight in the rooms. I was so glad that I chose them!

They are very excellent. They show up when they say they will. They are meticulous. They are very quiet. They really know what they are doing. I wouldn't even know they were there. When they leave there is no evidence they were there. They took all the junk and debris away. They were excellent, excellent workers. The windows are beautiful. The price was reasonable. It was less than $200 a window installed and it was for vented windows. I would absolutely use them again.

I was very pleased with the fellow that was sent out and pleased with the work. They did a great job. I ended up calling up couple of other places and they were very reasonable. I would recommend people to go to Pittsburgh Glass Block. They cleaned up really nice and did a good job.

They turned out pretty good. Price wise they’re probably the best. We checked out a couple of different places including a window place that we already have used for our upstairs windows and I believe they’re a manufacturer of the glass window as well as an installer so their price was best out of anybody.

All went well.. Had Two small basements windows replaced approximate 4 years ago with Glass Block with air vents.. All work was done in a timely matter and at a reasonable price.

Estimator came on time with samples, checked windows, made recommendations, showed us our options and took order on the third. A pleasant crew of two came on the ninth and installed even though we had an unseen ground bee problem to deal with and work around. I appreciated their patience and help. My only regret is I didn't have them do it forty years ago when we moved in.

The salesman showed up when expected, was very nice, and very helpful in describing the products; the gentleman who did the work showed up when expected, was courteous and explained what he was going to do, and cleaned up after the job was done. My overall rating is A (A for all categories) ... I note this here because the ratings in the bullet points keep changing for some reason.

The service was excellent, I never had a problem with them. They did them at two separate times, they did one, and then did the other one at a later time. I had used them before as well, not here, in another house that we had lived in. They don't fool around, they know what they are doing.

The work done was perfect. It was just one person, and the gentleman showed up a little ahead of when he was supposed to, but he was very proficient in the installation, and almost 3 years later, they are doing what they are supposed to be doing. I called a competitor, and the competitor didn't even return my phone call, while these guys did, and so they were responsive.

The service turned out okay. It wasn't the greatest. The installer was a little snotty, but other than that, it was okay.

The company responded immediately to my inquiry. They gave me an estimate which was very reasonable when compared to competitors. I was able to schedule the job within a four week window. The contractor came out exactly when he said he would and worked nonstop until the job was done. He cleaned up the mess and took the old windows with him. He also informed me of how long the cement needed to dry before I could operate the vent or paint. The windows look fantastic. I strongly recommend their service for anyone.

Mark punctually arrived to get measurements and give an estimate for two glass block windows. Upon approval and a small deposit, a date was set up for windows to be installed. On that scheduled date, Tom punctually arrived, and with the same professionalism installed the windows, took the debris and cleaned up. A smooth, stressless, made to look easy project in my home was completed. ::--)

I have used Pittsburgh Glass Block at my previous home and my current home. Both times they were very professional and competitive pricing. I would definitely use them again.

The estimator was prompt and professional. We went with this company as their price was the most competitive. After returning signed contract to company with $100 deposit we were called to schedule the job. The installer arrived promptly, completed the job in under 5 hours and thoroughly cleaned up after himself. Overall, great job.

They were good. The quality of their workmanship was really good. They were in and out in 1 day. The windows are very good. There are no complications with the windows. I thought the workers were fine. I would recommend them to others.
