Description of Work: Our dryer wasn't putting any heat out, so they replaced the heating element.

Description of Work: Left a message pertaining to a freezer that was not working. The company never responded.

Description of Work: Mr. Appliance scheduled a service appointment to repair our washing machine within 2 days of our call. The machine was stopping in between cycles. The day before, they e-mailed a 2-hour window of time when they would be coming, and they called while on their way - well within the window they gave us. The technician was professional and courteous. Rather than "overselling" a maximum repair, they worked to address the problem with a minimal cost solution (cleaning out and testing the water pump). The technician explained exactly why the machine was shutting down, and what he identified the cause to be. Although the problem ultimately required a larger scale repair (replacement of a water pump), they promptly rescheduled another service call and credited the cost of the initial service call to the total repair bill.

Description of Work: My fridge was too cold, resulting in frequent freezing of my produce. I called Mr. Appliance on Friday and George came out the following day (Saturday). He diagnosed the problem quickly and returned on Wednesday (when the part arrived) to install the control. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

Description of Work: Called Sunday regarding a broken washer and talked to the answering service. They were very rude and after 48 hours I still haven't heard from 'Mr. Appliance'. Call me old fashioned, but I think that is common courtesy. I'll try someone else.

Description of Work: Found problem quickley. Dryer was not functioning properly due to clogger dryer vent.

Description of Work: Repair of dishwasher. Ed and a helper came on time, took time to diagnose the problem and explain it. He noticed that the latch was broken, asked if we wanted him to order a new one, came again, on time, and installed it. Appliance repair is never cheap, but I felt that he treated us fairly and honestly. I know that if the dishwasher wasn't worth repairing, he would have told me so. They give you a two hour window, and even call to let you know when they are leaving to come to your house. It was rainy and wet outside so they brought a little rug to put down in my foyer, and put shoe covers on their feet to keep my floors dry! I'd call them again in a minute!

Description of Work: Mr. Moore came to our residence and diagnosed a problem with our dryer which required a major part replacement. He was both friendly and professional. He ordered the part and returned to fix the dryer in a timely fashion. Would definitely use his services again if needed in the future.

Description of Work: They came out to fix my ice maker. I thought they were going to look it over and come back at a later date, but they had most of the parts right there on the truck! Super efficient! They had to order a part in, but it came in fast!

Description of Work: I called in the morning to get them to check a leaky refrigerator. They promised to come out in the afternoon and Ed arrived at 1:45pm. He recognized the problem immediately, a bad solenoid, had a replacement in his truck and was finished by 2:15pm.

Description of Work: My freezer was leaking into the refrigerator. I called and was allotted the 8 AM slot the next day, and the man came exactly at 8 AM. He fixed the problem which was a blocked drain.
