They were a little high on cost. I was very happy with them but it could have been just the carpet I think but I really liked what I wanted so I was willing to pay a little extra. The people that came were excellent.

Molyneaux was very professional and prompt and very willing to work within our schedule. Quality of materials and workmanship was excellent. Enjoyed working with Harry Fasching in Holiday Park store. Would definitely work with Molyneaux in the future.

Graydon Fisher made it a very pleasant experience. He came out several times and showed samples including larger swatches. Their price was $1000.00 less then other competitors. They are very professional, very friendly and did not press towards the sale. We have difficulty making decisions and they made it very easy for us. We will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

We recently purchased a home and wanted to switch out the carpet in the formal living/ dining to hardwood to match the existing hardwood in the kitchen/ hallway/ and entryway. They arrived on time, were great about working around our schedule. The hardwood that we wanted was basic, 1 3/4" wide maple hardwood with a cinnamon stain, which is an in-stock item. The area that we were looking to complete was 390 square feet and a standard rectangular shape. They quoted us $9,500. This being said, we gained 2 other quotes- one coming in at just under $4,000 and the winning quote coming in at $3,150. This being said, we went with the low bid and were extremely pleased with the workmanship and the price. I personally do not believe that there is any justification as to why Molyneaux could be three times the price.

The second time using. I'm always happy with the product quality, however the installation teams don't always do excellent work. The first time we had nails still coming through our steps. They were eventually fixed, just not by the same installer. The second time the carpet was put in well, the crew just didn't return everything where it was supposed to go. They also unplugged the computer and instead of just moving it, left as mess of cords and cables. That took more time to fix than the furniture! Overall, the product is top notch, there are just a few snags along the way.

Salesman Harry Fasching was extremely helpful. Brought all of the samples that I had picked to the house so that I could see what would go best. Installation - Would have preferred a definitive installation time. I thought they were going to be here first thing in the morning and had to call to see when they were coming when I hadn't heard anything by 11 am. I was the second install of the day so didn't arrive until early afternoon. No problems to report with the installation.

We've purchased carpeting from Molyneaux three times now, starting about ten years ago in Brighton Heights. Candace Rymniak of the Cranberry store has given us great, very personalized service each time, bringing samples to our home and making very good carpeting suggestions.

This is the second time I have used molyneau for hard wood flooring and carpet. They are always professional, clean, and quick. The floor looks terrific. The salesman, Mike Jackson, came to our house with samples and gave contructive advice and was very patient explaining the differences in the wood samples. Would definetly use again.

Great. Casey removed old kitchen tile , wood base and replaced with new wood and armstrong linoleum. Installed carpet in bathroom. Excellent job in both areas.

I've used this company before for carpet installation and it was a great experience. This time not so much. The total flooring area was only 144 sq ft yet it took three different crews to get the job done. Floor by one crew. Baseboards by another crew a whole week later and then another to simply install the flooring transition piece. I had to miss a lot of work for such a simple job. Not pleased with this company or their service this time.

Amazing team of workers. Arrived on time, worked hard, neat and did a really professional job including moving a large, modular bedroom furniture set. Cleaned up both days before they left and took all the old, removed material with them.

Carpet had to be ordered. Our salesperson was excellent, very accommodating, got us, rather matched another bid. Came down $3 thousand. However, incorrect measurements were taken, ran out on 3rd day. More ordered. Job finished June 4. Hard having house torn up for so long due to their negligence. But they more than made up for it with the price & responsiveness. Customer service outstanding. Gave us another $200 off for inconvenience. Installers were efficient although first pair did not interact much with us.

I called Molyneaux because I recognized the name as a local company and based on reviews on Angie's list. My call was answered and a salesman was scheduled to arrive in a timely manner and was bringing several samples with him so that I could choose the best carpet for my house. The salesman arrived exactly on time and took precise measurements. In fact, he measured twice sometimes and quoted that its better to measure twice and cut once. He then help me choose the best color and grade of carpet by providing me with dozens of samples. He drew out the areas to be carpeted to scale on a piece of graph paper and quoted me a price. I was happy with the price and was sold on how quickly it could be installed. He measured on Monday and it was installed on Thursday of the same week!. The installers called me on Thursday morning letting me know they were on their way. Installers arrived early on Thursday morning and began removing the old carpet right away. The installers were very polite and professional (Floyd and Floyd Jr.). They did a fantastic job of cleaning the sub-floors before putting down the new pad. The new carpet looks great and they were diligent about ensuring I was pleased before they left. They took all the old carpet with them and cleaned up their work areas very nicely. The job took all day and they did a fantastic job. I did not price shop so I have no idea if their price was high or not but the difference this new carpet makes and the excellent work the installers did makes it totally worth it to me. Highly recommended! UPDATE: It's been over a month since my carpet has been installed and I think it's important to note that every single seem in the carpet is clearly visible.

My experience with Graydon Fisher of Molyneaux Carpet went like clockwork. Having renovated a number of properties, I contacted Mr. Fisher and he came out and, as has been my usual experience with Molyneaux, gave me a great quote and the installers arrived on time and did a fantastic job. I have had other experiences with various carpeting companies but have found that Molyneaux is the most dependable and reliable of them all. They also provide a very competitive price. I will continue to use them for my future projects.

The provider called ahead, and delivered the tile, trim boards, and all materials two days prior to installation. The installer called ahead of time, arrived on time, and installed the flooring and trim in approximately five hours. The installer was friendly, professional and highly skilled. The installer moved the stove and refrigerator, and installed tile in those areas as well as the main kitchen area. When the installation was complete, the installer thoroughly cleaned the area, and explained the method for cleaning the floor. In addition, and thanks to Angie's List, Molyneaux provided a $100, no condition rebate that was received within two weeks of the installation.

The installers were on time and did clean and efficient work including disposing of all leftover materials. The dining room and main staircase were recovered with a gorgeous new carpet. I have absolutely no complaints on a fabulous job well done.

We needed new carpet installed in the family room after we had all our existing wood floors refinished and two new wood floors installed. First, Lisa returned my phone call, and determined what type of product samples she needed to bring to our house for the consult. She promptly came out to measure, bringing just the type of carpet I wanted. Her eye was invaluable since I wanted a neutral carpet, but one that wasn't quite as bland as the existing carpet. I had almost decided on one sample when she gently pointed out that it was almost identical to what we were replacing. Eureka! With that, I ordered my second choice, which offered far more contrast yet was neutral enough to blend with any color scheme. When it was installed, we were absolutely delighted with the look of the room, as it was much improved. All this happened right before Easter, when we were expecting a houseful of company, including three small children, While the company was here, one of the children stepped on the edge of the carpet where there was "something prickly". Around the edge of the carpet, we could feel the carpet tacks or nails. So on Monday, I called Molyneaux, and they very promptly sent out a repairman to tack down those "prickly things". He was so pleasant and professional, just like the two installers. I received a follow-up phone call from customer service to make sure I was happy and that no one had been unduly harmed by the nails. We are very very happy with our carpet so far. What a great company for customer service!

The carpet arrived and was installed on time, We had a problem convincing the installer to instal the carpet in the way we had originally planned, the installer complained that the salesman didn't order enough carpet to instal it the way we wanted. After a discussion , it turned out he had enough and installed it and did a great job. They offer in my opinion a wide selection at below average prices but we went with them because of their reputation and salesman. .

Our shop at home sales experience was excellent with Molyneaux. We were repeat customers and had the pleasure of working with Candice again. She was polite, friendly and punctual. She helped us to decide against an expensive hardwood install and go with a less expensive carpeting option for our basement. The installation did not go as planned. The date of the initial install the contracted installer came and re-measured and indicated that he did not have enough carpet for the entire floor. A week later he came back for the install. Unfortunately his install was terrible. He left a seam down the middle our floor, the carpet was loose and the stairs were not well done at all. After contacting Molyneaux they promptly sent out their installation expert who agreed that the install was not done properly. After working only a few hours with Customer Service, Molyneaux agreed to send out their best installer to rip out the carpet and reinstall. The second time around the carpeting looks wonderful and we are very satisfied.

My experience with Molyneaux was first-rate all the way through the process of selecting and installing our carpets and flooring. We got a very competitive bid from them [although not the lowest]; what sealed the deal was the quality of the product that we got for our bid. Service [from the McKnight Road store, North Hills] was friendly and helpful throughout, never pushy or pressuring. Installation crews were prompt, diligent, clean, friendly and helpful. I am very pleased with the quality of both the materials we selected and their installation. Work crews moved and replaced all large furniture pieces. Finally, follow-up care has been more than satisfactory to this point. Any concerns/questions that we have had have been answered quickly and satisfactorily. I have already recommended Molyneaux to family members and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

I was one hundred percent satisfied with their work, and I would highly recommend them. They are the best company in the Pittsburgh market.

They installers came on time came in moved the furniture put the carpet down in a timely manor and that was that.

They arrived on time and they let us know which rooms they would be doing the next day so we could empty the rooms one by one.The main work was done in a few days and they were very courteous throughout. The only problem was in the dining room, where we had some water leakage from the deck door. They removed the old carpet, we fixed the leak and they came back soon after to install the dining room carpet. It was quickly done.

I have been very happy with the carpet and service I received from Molyneaux. I went to the South hills location looking for carpet for a room in a home I was purchasing and wanted to have carpet installed before we moved in. I have never purchased carpet before and really didn't know anything about it. Cindy was wonderful and met us at the house the day after we closed to help us choose from the samples we selected in-store. She was very patient with me when I had second thoughts and the installation was still done as scheduled even though I held up the order. The carpet looks beautiful. I had a small issue with a "crunch" in one spot and the installers were not able to resolve it after one visit so they came back and replaced the padding just to be sure I wouldn't have further problems. Barbara, the customer service person, was so nice to deal with when I called about the issue. I honestly did not have the time to comparison shop so I am not sure how their price compares to others. I am sure I paid a little more than some big box retailers but we are willing to do that for a local company with good customer service. I do wish their prices were a little more transparent but overall we are very satisfied.

Sales and service great. The installers were outstanding. Did a wonderful job overall, efficient, cleaned up perfectly. Would highly recommend. Note: These were the people from the North Hills McKnight Road store.
