They did a very good job. There was a huge difference.

Excellent work by Adam and Jason. After completion, I called them about a minor issue and they returned promptly to fix it.

They arrived on time, and were done just a few hours. I thought it was going to be MUCH longer. The two installers put down hallway tarps, so their feet never touched the carpeting. Just an outstanding company to do business with.

-We called Mincin because of an attic odor that we thought may be due to old insulation in the attic. -Chuck came to give the work estimate. He was very professional; easy to talk with and attentive to the reasons why we called.. -The workers arrived on time; introduced themselves; restated the reasons for the work; took extra steps to ensure the problem we described was addressed; took care to protect carpeting and belongings; described each stage of the work as it progressed; cleaned up afterwards.

It went well. They finished in about a day and a half. They were on time and performed the work we asked them to do.

John was thorough and explained the steps as they accomplished the. Day to day he explained the plans for the day. They cleaned up after they finished. Very professional!

Installers were on time and started the job quickly. They were efficient and very professional, and cleaned up after themselves.

Mincin inspected open chimney areas on DR, LR and BRs. Sealed and insulated same.

excellent - better than I expected

The work was done quickly. Mincin Insulation observed that the only problem with the existing insulation (all brand new in 2005) was not nearly enough. And on top of that the insufficient insulation material from 2005 was not even evenly distributed, and at least one corner of the attic had almost none of it. So Mincin Insulation added enough cellulose to give us a minimum of 49 R value all around. They took before/after photos for us, since we do not have direct access tot he attic from inside the house. In this hot 2010 summer, the floor below the attic feels better, although it is also probably due to the fact that we had new windows put in last fall.

On the front of the house I have brick half way up and the rest is like a sheet metal type stuff and the owner when giving his estimate was talking about going through the mortor on the outside like they would to the rest of the outside walls but warned that it may not get to the top of the wall. They usually drill a top and low hole but was only to drill a low hole. So I said about doing the front inside and they did and fixed the holes and did a great job all around. The only thing I didn't like, the workers poked around and took alot of breaks. Ended up taking 2.5 days for them to complete the job.

I had gotten quotes from Mincin and Option Insulation. Both were professional, timely, and courteous. Option was cheaper(not by much) but they wouldn't remove the old insulation so I picked Mincin. I called to set up installation and we set a day for two weeks later. They arrived on time. They had to make some adjustments but let me know why and also talked to the company before they did. They ended up blowing more insulation but didn't charge me more. It took a day and a quarter to finish. I had a couple shngles missing on my roof and they offered to fix them for me and they did. Since they couldn't get to the peak from inside the house they went through my vents on my roof and also replaced them. I would recommend that anybody getting insulation from anybody cover up items in your house before they start because it is messy and leaves lots of dust everywhere. I would use this company again.

They came and provided an estimate and walked me to every part of that. They were absolutely timely, professional and informative. They answered all my questions. They gave me a list of references without even asking them, because this was part of their package.

They were prompt, professional. The work I can see looks good.

The company was recommended to me by a group that I trust. My first interaction with the company was mixed in that the person who came to give the estimate was arrogant and offended one of my other contractors. No people skills. I moved ahead with the project because of the initial recommendation. The workers did the work, but in the process of putting in the blown in insulation, they fell through the ceiling into my downstairs. They also left rough plaster areas where they had penetrated the walls on the second floor. I paid a contractor to fix both of these problems. When we called the company to express our concerns, the estimator was rude and said that the owner would call us back. That never happened. Overall, it was a poor experience because the personality of the estimator and non-responsiveness of the owner.

They were professional, prompt, they did good work and we had no problems. It was not messy and we would recommend them to other people. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY FINISHED THE WORK, I THOUGHT THEY HAD DONE A GOOD JOB, BUT A SEVERE PROBLEM DEVELOPED A FEW DAYS LATER, ASSOCIATED WITH THE AGE OF THE HOUSE. SHORTLY AFTER, I CONTACTED COMPANY MANAGEMENT TO PROVIDE DIRECT, PERSONAL FEEDBACK, AND THEY TOOK WHAT I CONSIDER TO BE APPROPRIATE ACTION. FOR THIS REASON, I WOULD CONSIDER USING MINCIN AGAIN, BUT CERTAINLY WOULD ENSURE THEY TOOK INTO CONSIDERATION EVERY ASPECT OF THE HOUSE'S AGE AND CONDITION.

They were great. They came in and they were clean considering how messy the job was. They were quick and they were great. I would hire them again in the future.

Worker arrived promptly at 8 AM and surveyed the work area. He then needed to run to the home improvement store to get the supplies (he was being paid hourly). He then proceeded to complete the work in 5 hours. Craftsman ship was okay, but his supervisor had to arrive and help him finish. Overall pleased with the effort, but felt the charge on materials ($150) was excessive for a 4 x 4 piece of sheet-rock, One 2 x 8 lumber, patch materials and texture for ceiling. Labor at $90/hour was okay, however a more experienced handyman would have moved quicker. I also had to make two checks out, one to Jeeves for the labor, the other to the supervisor for the materials. Neither worker spoke fluent English (the supervisor was okay, but I had trouble understanding him).

The workers arrived on time each day (3 1/2 days) they were courteous and professional. They answered all questions and explained each day what they were going to do that day. Any concerns they had about our safety regarding fire hazards were addressed before the task was done. They also found part of the addition was already insulated and they adjusted the bill accordingly. They cleaned up after themselves each day and did no damage to the house using their equipment. They went above and beyond what I expected. It was a job well done at a fair price. Overall a pleasant experience with this company.

We had three other bids on this job and their prices were right in the middle. But, they delivered the most value because after their work was completed, I did not have to re-paint. It was a dirty job to have been done in the middle of winter but, they did a really good job.

Someone came at an appointed to look the job over. We waited for 2 weeks to get an estimate. We got nowhere. Last time I called he was going on vacation and we still did not have an estimate.

Their answering service was professional, they scheduled an estimate promptly and they arrived timely for the estimate. I really liked their representative the best of all that I received. But, in the end, I wasn't sure that I liked their plan the best (I received 3 estimates, all of which gave me different plans for addressing my insulation needs). In reality, I was torn about whether to use this company or another one that I liked equally and the other had a slightly lower price.

They started out bad but finished up well. I scheduled the job (3 days) and then had to cancel and they still showed up at my house on the first day to start the job. I sent them home. The second time I scheduled, they did not show up on the first day. When I called, they said they made a scheduling mistake and would come tomorrow. I requested that they get the job done in two days because of their mistake and they sent an extra guy along and got the job done in two days. This is a very invasive process and we ended up with a lot of dust in the house. The drilling of the holes in the mortar was not bad, but when drilling through the wood inside the wall, the walls and floors vibrated. I had to take down everything on the exterior walls to protect it from falling. I also hung plastic drop clothes over all of the exterior wall and that trapped some of the dirt and dust, but not all. My wife works out of the house and could not work due to the noise.

We saw them at the home show in 2006. We had an estimate done that was broken into 2 parts - roof only and then roof with all walls, which we thought was very helpful. Man who did the estimate was prompt, polite, and answered all of our questions. A few months later, we scheduled the insulation work. It took the crew of 2 men 4 days to complete. They were quick, thorough (took special care to make sure our cats didn't get outside when they were coming and going), cleaned up after themselves (except that they left cigarette butts around the perimeter of the house). We were very pleased with the work and the service.
