Mincin was fantastic to work with. They came out and provided a quote for the work quickly, taking a look at everything we asked for and then looked at other areas that commonly need done with the job. They noted an electrical box in the attic that needed a cover, but otherwise only included on our quote the work we asked for. The price was reasonable for the work done. Scheduling was easy, they were even offered to squeeze us in after a last minute cancellation. The crew of two was great, they got to work quickly putting down protective floor covers. They worked efficiently, built the energy cover out of wood instead of just foam so it would hold up better. They covered the hose with the tarps while blowing to help keep dust down, and then swept the floors each day after they were done. Everyone we worked with was pleasant and helpful.

Great work by Amy and the team and Chuck was a huge help coming back to review. So much that my neighbor used them and i had them come back and seal the rim joists and gaps in my basement. House performs much better and holds temperature much better

they told us what they needed to do and kept us up to date on what was being done . They discovered a I beam in one of the walls and explained it to us , someone came out and told them how much of a discount to take off the bill because that was less insulation they had to do.

Mincin removed all of the old fiberglass insulation, air sealed, installed baffles to preserve ventilation from soffit vents and blew in cellulose insulation to R49. The removal of old insulation is a dirty job, but the Mincin crew put up plastic and covered floors to minimize the dust in the house, which was mostly successful. The upstairs is warmer and my furnace usage has declined. The crew was courteous and prompt. All in all, it was a good experience.

Very pleased with the work they did. They were very professional and explained what they were doing every step of the way.

This is the 2nd time we used Mincin (2 different homes), and they are a quality insulation company and generally pleased with their work. Main feedback / issues with the job they just completed is that not all holes were plugged / sealed off prior to them blowing insulation in (i.e. plumbing under kitchen sink, a crawl space door opening in one of the bedroom closets, and above one of the ceiling fans all had insulation leaking into the inside of the home.)

Excellent company. Their people are professional and will do what they say they will do. The installation crew was clean, punctual and completed the job in much less time than quoted. I will consult with Mincin insulation on my next project.

Everything went smoothly and well throughout the process of initial contact through completion of work. Chuck was professional and friendly and sent me the estimate within a few days, and he adapted it quickly when I requested an adjustment. Cheyenne was knowledgeable and eager to help each time I called. John and Chris completed the work efficiently and were very careful to keep things clean. I noticed immediately that my house was warmer, and I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to do the same.

Getting the quote, scheduling the appointment and the actual installation all went smoothly. The gentleman who gave the quote was very professional and explained everything that would be done to the attic, then put it all in writing and emailed it to me. On the day of installation, two young men came in and had it done within about 4 hours. The extra insulation has helped keep the house warmer.

They did an excellent job. Crew was professional. I lacked a lot of insulation in my attic and they made it so it was R49 compliant. The crew was excellent and explained everything. They even built me a hatch for my attic which I did not have and insulated it. They came in a lot cheaper than the 'Big Box' retailers install service to the tune of $475 less and the major chain was not even building me a hatch. Quality was excellent. I will have them do my garage and exterior wall at a later time.

The estimators and the installation crew were great. both of them took time to answer my questions and advise me of things to do in order to help improve my home heating and cooling cost. The President came to my house to do the final inspection and make sure I was happy with the product. He even told me he would come back in the winter with a device to check to see if there were any more places that needed work.

Great service is always worth documenting, and I should have written this review 2 years ago when we had the inspection done. Chuck did the inspection and we were impressed with his knowledgeable, personable manner, and the way he cleaned up after setting up his testing equipment. He pointed out issues we didn't think reduced our energy efficiency and we opted to handle several of them ourselves. We would definitely call Mincin again if we wanted to pursue further assistance.

They arrived punctually each of the four days required to complete the job. Cleaned up afterwards each day. At completion they vacuumed up all traces leaving the home as they found it.

I had experienced roof damage from the falling of massive icicles from the newly installed Leafguard gutters, who blamed it on inadequate roof area insulation. So I needed to determine whether this icicle formation was due to a lack of proper insulation, as the Leafguard supervisor indicated. Marcus came and spent around 45 minutes doing the energy audit, assessing my insulation, and in the end reported that I actually had sufficient insulation in my roof area, which could not be the cause of the massive icicles. He was kind and patient, answering all my questions, even after it was clear that he would not be making a sale,which shows real integrity.

The estimator came out and measured the home for installation of blown in cellulose insulation. He gave me a brochure explaining the insulating properties of their product. He did seem insistent on blowing the insulation in from the outside even though I was concerned about the size of the holes it would create in the brick. I got a much lower quote from a competitor who was willing to go through the walls from the inside.

It was all good! From the estimate to the service date. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. They arrived on time. All 3 men were friendly and professional. They took care to put drop cloths down so they would not track snow into the house. They removed trim to drill holes, to minimize the need to repaint every entry point they made, and replaced the trim boards when finished. They took care to clean up all of the dust and moved the furniture back were it started. It took less time than we thought it would. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

Everything went well until I realized a few years later that some of the vents the installed were fake. There was no opening of the sheathing for the air to circulate.

The workman were polite and careful in their work. They answered my questions and kept me informed as to what they were doing and how it was going. The job took 2 days to complete and at the end of the second day they used a shop vac to clean up all of the debris and insulation they could find.

Crew was on time, worked in a timely manner, were extremely aware of our property, laying down drop clothes etc. They left no mess. The work area was just as clean as when they arrived. They even ask us if we needed any questions answered. Very friendly and courteous. Would gladly recommend them to friends and neighbors.

He said that the house was in "good" shape for airflow but that some of the areas needed more insulation to keep them warmer in the winter. The front bedroom of the house is very cold in winter and he explained why and what was needed to fix the problem. The living room, which is over the garage, has a cold floor in the winter as well. The written estimate of all the work needed to address these problems was reasonable and we are scheduling the work to be done.

They were quick to answer my call for an estimate; scheduled the appointment without a long wait time; and performed the work on time and cleaned up very well afterward. It was a very good experience.
