They were punctual. Their price was high. The negativity of the worker bothered me. He was negative about a lot of things. It's not about the work that he had to do, it was just overall. He was negative even about the company that he worked with. I was not at all happy with that. I would not use their services again in the future.

My mother's water heater blew at 7:30 on a very snowy morning. My sister, who had been staying with her called me in a panic as water was spraying all over the basement. I called several companies to see who could get there fastest. My first call was to Miller and I got an answering machine so I immediately hung up and went on to the next one on my list. I booked someone else that said I was next on the list but gave me a range of "before noon". While speaking to them Mr. Miller called me back as he got my number from caller ID. He was calm, knew what questions to ask, he then called my sister at my mom's home and was the same way with her. He told her exactly where to find the information he needed. I immediately went over to my mothers and within 1 hr he had someone at the house with the proper water heater. The young man that came was courteous, and thorough. He was done and we had hot water by noon. He also showed us exactly where the shut off valve was for the house in addition to the ones leading to the water heater. The only thing I had some hesitation was, was the price. I did think it was a bit high but taking into consideration how quickly he got there, how bad the weather was and how fast and efficiently it was done, I didn't have a leg to stand on complaining about the price. I actually didn't know how much it should cost. It had been leaking and I just let it go instead of shopping around for a new one at a different price. If I need a plumber again I wouldn't hesitate to call this company - overall I was very pleased.

We were having problems with the old boiler and elected for repairs, hoping to wait until summer for a replacement. However, we were beginning to worry that the boiler wouldn't last through the rest of the winter so we decided on a new one. Miller's estimate for a new one was $3500 less than another estimate we received. They also credited us for some of the work they did on the old one. They are knowledgeable and professional and we will definitely call them for future work.

We called Allen, from Miller Plumbing, who has worked with us before, to have our heating system inspected at the end of the heating season. He found considerable corrosion of the system, which was also the least efficient available at the time, and advised us that we would be ahead to just get a new system with on-demand hot water. He referrred us to a customer in our neighborhood who had just had his system replaced. Allen came back after we agreed to the new system and had the old boiler and maze of pipes removed. He installed the new system. They also had to drill holes through the foundation for air intakes and outlets. He was very professional, came to the job on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up.

I called Allen of Miller Plumbing, who had installed our new combined heating system and water heater earlier in the year, with a problem of hot water coming out of the overflow from the water heater, which began shortly after we turned the central heating part on in the new system. He came very quickly, and found the house's water pressure to be very high, causing the overflow. He replaced the water regulator and put a new overflow valve on the water heater. Everything works great now. He arrived on time, did the work professionally and expeditiously, and cleaned up.

Performed annual test of valve as noted on the tag; previous homeowners probably had never done that. Afterwards it started dripping. Took a couple days for Miller to get in touch (when they say "we'll call you back withing 5 to 15 minutes," that typically means a day - based on about a half dozen experiences); then they did a diagnosis on the phone and charged a $40 trip fee to come out and tell me the same thing. (I used an online coupon to reduce that price). While they were here, he told me to call the mfr. and they recommended DIY for $15. Quote was for $200+ more than that. Serviceman (Dave) was friendly, courteous, and even offered a couple DIY tips (same as what you can find on the internet).

Did not hire.

Unclogged fine but exactly four weeks later it re-clogged and they would not re-snake without an additional $200 minimum charge.

They were polite, professional, clean and guaranteed their work. They treated me very well and respected my property. When he came out, you could tell he respected the workmen and treated them well. Both times it was one of the better experiences I have had with service work. If everybody was like Miller we wouldn't have any problems.

I received incredibly prompt service, and the the representative snaked the drains and cleaned up 3 inches of raw sewage in a very large building. They kept me informed along the way and agreed to do the work without having met me despite the fact that the owner is supposed to be there. I was very pleased with both the service and the cost.

THEIR INITIAL ESTIMATE HAD BEEN TO REPLACE ALL DRAIN PIPES IN THE BASEMENT FLOOR, FOR A RATHER STEEP PRICE. WE OPTED FOR THE MINIMUM TASK TO SOLVE THE IMMEDIATE PROBLEM. THEY CAME ON TIME, SHOWED US WHERE THE OLD DRAIN WAS DEFECTIVE, AND DID A GOOD SINK INSTALLATION/PLUMBING AND RE-CEMENTING THE BASEMENT FLOOR.

PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. WE CALLED ONE DAY, TWO SERVICE TECHNICIANS ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY TO DO THE WORK. MILLER'S HYDROJET WAS OUR LAST RESORT TO TRY TO CLEAR OUT OUR SEVERELY CLOGGED DOWNSPOUTS AND ROOF DRAINS. WE'D TRIED A FEW OTHER PLUMBERS PREVIOUSLY WITH NO SUCCESS. THE HYDROJET OPERATOR CAREFULLY CLEARED OUT ALL OF THE DOWNSPOUTS USING A BLAST OF VERY HIGH PRESSURE WATER.

GLOW IGNITER WAS ORIGINALLY REPLACED LAST FALL. ALTHOUGH REPLACEMENT FAILED WITHIN A YEAR, THEY HONORED THE WARRANTY AND REPLACED AT NO CHARGE. ALTHOUGH DISAPPOINTED IN FAILURE OF PART IN SO SHORT A TIME, I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR HONORING THE WARRANTY. SINCE THEY HAD DONE THE ORIGINAL WORK I THINK THAT THEIR OWN RECORDS SHOULD INCLUDE SERVICE HISTORY AND THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN OF EXISTING REPAIR. FORTUNATELY, I HAD THE RECEIPT FROM THE PRIOR REPAIR TO PROVE WARRANTY COVERAGE.

WE ARE THE BUYERS AND MADE IT CLEAR THAT TIME WAS OF THE ESSENCE. WE BEGAN CALLING MILLER'S ON TUESDAY TO GET AN APPOINTMENT. THERE WERE SEVERAL PHONE CALLS BACK AND FORTH TO ARRANGE CONVENIENT TIME. THE ONLY TIME THEY COULD COME WAS SATURDAY. WE WERE ASSURED THEY UNDERSTOOD THE NATURE OF OUR SITUATION AND THAT WE HAD A LIMITED TIME TO GET THIS ESTIMATE. AFTER RE-ARRANGING OUR AGENT'S SCHEDULE AND AGREEING TO PAY DOUBLE A SATURDAY CALL, NO ONE SHOWED UP. WE CALLED THE OFFICE; THEY SUPPOSEDLY HAD AN EMERGENCY AND NO ONE WAS GOING TO BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY TO GET THE WORK DONE. THE ONLY REASON WE EVEN FOUND THAT OUT WAS BECAUSE WE CALLED THEM. IT HAS ALSO PUT US IN A AWKWARD SITUATION IN TERMS OF SEEKING AN EXTENSION TO TRY TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THE ESTIMATE. THEY MIGHT RETURN YOUR PHONE CALLS, BUT DON'T EXPECT THEM TO SHOW UP. ALSO, THEY WERE THE ONLY CONTRACTORS THAT WERE CHARGING US FOR AN ESTIMATE.

WORKER WAS PROMPT AND POLITE. VALVE WAS REPLACED QUICKLY AND CORRECTLY. VERY SATISFIED.

MIKE, THE PLUMBER, WAS VERY NICE, VERY PROFESSIONAL, TIMELY, UNDERSTOOD DESPERATION OF THE MATTER, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING, ESTIMATE WAS RIGHT IN LINE WITH FINAL COST.
