I have used Metro for many years for my heating and air conditioning services. They have always been professional and competent. When I came home from a trip, in mid winter, and found my furnace broken, they came at night and fixed it. I got a new air conditioner from them last summer. They advised me on the proper size and did not try to talk me into a larger one than I really needed. I recommend Metro Heating and Cooling.

Visits were handled professionally but never heard from them after either. Each time it was one of the owners. Very Disappointing. We have since had work done by another and are very satisfied. Date above indicates contacting them for second estimate.

The 4 plumbers were all punctual, polite, professional. They explained in detail what services had to be done & why. The 3rd visit was a messy one while they worked, but they cleaned up everything & you'd never know they were here.

I called for the service at about 8:00 AM, the technician was at the door before 9:00 AM, and he got the furnace going. Then, he went and got the part that was needed to make the repair, and the furnace was fixed by 10:30 AM. Maybe I was lucky, but it seemed to be a remarkably speedy repair.

The technician was good. It seemed like they did the required point inspection properly. We've not had any problems. They came as scheduled and completed the required work. They checked the furnace for the burners, the motors, the blowers and inspected the burners as well.

Very competent. Knew what they were doing. Very professional. Would highly recommend them.

They were absolutely wonderful. There was a small problem, but a technician came back the next day to fix it at no charge.

They worked very well. My air conditioning failed in the house in July and they opened the attic in my house to remove all the old stuff because of the hot water heating as the air conditioning had a problem in the attic. They did the work extremely well. It's a good system. It is working extremely well. It was not a good time to be able to do something like that. They had to replace both the units. They are very high rated and a very nice company. The price was a little on the higher side.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very good. I think I had to pay an additional $25 for a cap or something on my furnace. I had no problem with them. I wasn't here, I had some contractors come in and when they said the additional saying they told them and I got back to them, they took care of it, and then I sent them additional money. They were very effective with their work and I was very pleased with Metro. I would definitely use them again. He was running late that day. For their responsiveness, they really got back to me.

Metro installed our ac and has been there for us when we need yearly upkeep.

They were extremely professional and helpful. Once we knew we needed a new furnace their entire installation team were working on it and I was amazed that from start-to-finish it only took them 4.5 hours. We will definitely go with Metro again for additional HVAC services.

Jim was very professional. He took care of the problem in 45 minutes and gave me advice as to how to use my thermostat more efficiently. I plan on having Metro back to complete some upgrades to my furnace and to install a humidifier as my house is very dry when the furnace is going.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was fine. They came out quick, checked it out and gave us a report. They did a good job. We didn't pay any additional.

They came out to inspect and also did a full cleaning and replaced my filter. I have used bargain companies in the past but feel that they gave me a better inspection and a better understanding of my furnace. They even quoted me a great price on a whole new system since mine is getting old and will need replaced soon.

Metro came for a maintenance check of my furnace. They discovered dangerous cracks in the heat exchange unit, and recommended not using the furnace at all. They were able to give me quotes on the spot for several models of Carrier furnaces. I chose a high efficiency two stage model, and they were able to install three days later, so I was not without heat for very long. From my first contact to the installers, everyone was very professional, friendly and informative. I will continue to use Metro Heating for service on my new furnace.

repaired furnace. i called them at 6:15 AM saturday, and they arrived about 8:15 AM. since we had no heat, i really appreciated their promptness.

They came and did the work. I was there and able to talk to him as he was doing it. It was fine.

They came out to check the unit, but it was not working and I needed a new unit. They installed my new unit, they were prompt clean and friendly. It did have a leak and they had to order a part which took a couple of weeks. They came out each time I called to refill the unit till the part arrived.

Unfortunately, we never got past the estimate with Metro. Which is a shame for them, because we ended up giving their competition almost $13,000 worth of work (and they have been extremely pleasant to deal with). When the gentleman from Metro arrived on site to give us an estimate, his attitude was all wrong. His attitude had actually been quite poor during our phone conversation setting up the appointment, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt considering that we all have bad days. The job seemed, to me, fairly straight forward. We have a small commercial building (1 story - storefront plus basement), there is already an existing central ac/heat system, and we simply needed this torn out and replaced. Though, as a start-up company with an investment property, we are not quite sure what the future will hold for our space, I specifically told the salesman that we do NOT want to skimp on heating and cooling. My exact words were "Picture the place completely filled with people socializing - make sure everyone stays cool. Picture the place completely empty - make sure it stays warm." For whatever reason, this was not enough information. The salesman kept badgering me about what business exactly was going into the space. Because... you know.... all commercial buildings serve the same purpose for their entire existence, right? The salesman also kept insisting that we go with the cheapest option, then consider separate add-on cooling units if our new system cannot handle the load. After I mentioned, several times, that we do not want to cut any corners and would rather have overkill than under, I couldn't help but get the feeling that he was doubting our ability to afford this work. Between asking 100 times why I couldn't tell him what the space would be utilized for exactly, and completely ignoring my request for a heavy-duty equipment, I was quite offended. My business partner and I are two young professionals, and this is our side project. Of the dozen or so contractors we have been in contact/worked with, the gentleman from Metro was the only one who seemed to not take us seriously and display such a patronizing attitude. In the end, the encounter left me quite bitter and offended. The email estimate we received was also vague and unprofessional. As I mentioned earlier, we ended up going with another company and they have been extraordinarily professional and excited about their work (their estimate was VERY detailed and explained all their load calculations plus gave us several options to choose from). If Metro didn't want the job, they should have spared me the time/energy and not agreed to an estimate in the first place.

They're excellent! I have used them 3 or 4 times and love them every time!

Moved straight into selling us a new furnace -- options offered were expensive.

It went well. No problems were incountered and there was no repairs required.

It turned out well. The technician was friendly and professional, arrived on time, and did a good job with the repairs. The furnace is running just fine now.
