About us

Metro Heating & Cooling is a family owned and operated company. We have been serving the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas since 1957, when William “W.C.” Wessner Sr founded the company. We are now on our 3rd generation. The company has maintained key staff, and thanks to our installers and service technicians, some of whom have been with us for over 20 years, keeping the quality and reputation of our work and company intact. We have been a top provider on Angie’s List since 2005 and one of the top Carrier dealers in the Pittsburgh area. The Wessner’s are active in Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) and they have all served as president of that group.

Description of Work: well my ac stopped working so I called metro to come today. The broken part was in the furnace it was an electrical part $400 to replace. While he was here he checked over my ac too which I really appreciated. He used the 10% off coupon towards the $88 they charge to come out not towards the part he replaced but overall he was very nice and my ac is running fine. Thanks you for helping me outtwice today!
