Excellent! Very polite and punctual! Temporarily helped me out while waiting for the parts and returned within a few days to finish the job. Took time to show me the issues and discuss options to correct them.

ll determined that the toilet had been leaking for a while because of a cheap flange and probably not fully set. Since he did not remove the toilet, he could not say for certain. What he did determine was that the flooring that would hold the flange was soft and deteriorating and a section of the flooring would have to be replaced. Bill did not do carpeting but offered a couple of suggested approaches. I am disappointed that I don't have a toilet in the main bath with a bunch of guest coming. However, I got clarity about what the problem was and why and suggested options for a less price than the first plumber who simply pulled the toilet, said it had a crack and I needed a new one and apparently didn't check for anything else. I worked with one plumber for 14 years until he retired. I think I found his replacement. They got me on the schedule. Called and arrived ahead of scheduled. Quickly identified the problem. USED a drop cloth in the work area (the old timers think about these kinds of things). Receipt explain exactly what needed to be done. Professionalism from the scheduling process to the end of the job.

Don called the night before to set time for next morning. Arrived on time. Fixed both problems. Absolutely no mess. Could not ask for anything more.

They were friendly and efficient. They worked around other contractors schedules and ours during kitchen reconstruction.

Bob Mertz crew was very punctual. Since they were replacing the old incoming shutoff valve, they had to work with the water authority to get the line shutoff. The guys thoroughly explained everything and if there were any issues, they notified me and made sure it was OK. They performed a very neat job, running all the water lines neatly and placing the new tank and expansion tank neatly in the tight space that i had. I required a particular water heater tank and while others stated they could not get this or wanted to install their own, Bob was very agreeable and provided what i wanted. Bob Mertz was the least expensive for the install but around my area has a very good reputation. I would recommend Mertz plumbing to other in the neighborhood

Bill did a great job he was finished in under 3 hours which was quite impressive. I'm satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him! :D

Excellent customer service. Called in the afternoon to get price/answers about two clogged basement and garage drains, and had someone there at 7am the following day. Bob arrived on time and hit the ground running. He was very professional, efficient and also provided feedback and suggestions on how I can deal with tree roots that were starting to invade the pipes.

They worked on it for 3 days not including replacing the concrete. It went well. They kept me informed of all the details. They were so polite that they called me the first day to let me know they would be ten minutes later than they said.

Called in the morning and he was there later the same morning. Installed a new water heater, sShowed me how it worked, cleaned up everything and removed the old water heater. He was efficient, professional and friendly. I was very satisfied with the service.

It went very well. He was able to clean it out in a very short time. However, since it was a Saturday, emergency cost was in effect. Otherwise, it would have been $99 instead of $150.00. Being an Angie's member did not give us any discount.

He has been my plumber for years and I am happy with his services.

I was able to get an appointment quickly. The plumber was exactly on time. The service was very quick, except there was a delay because he didn't have one of the parts with him and needed to leave to go get it. This was a simple seal for a Koehler toilet, and I was asked my brand of toilets prior to the appointment to assure that the plumber would have all of the parts, so it was a little disappointing that I had to wait for him to leave to get this seal, especially since I was waiting to get to work right after the appointment. Other than that, the service was great and most importantly, the toilets are working perfectly now. A small side note, it would have been nice to receive an itemized price list prior to the work being completed. There was no cost listed before the work was done, and then the final bill only included the total, and not the break-down of costs for labor, parts, etc. I should have asked for the cost upfront and I am sure the plumber would have provided that. I just figured it was routine to have the costs outlined first rather than getting a surprise at the end of the service. Overall, I am very happy with the work.

They came right away, even though they were busy. He was able to find the problem and advised us what to do to prevent the problem in the future. They cleaned up after themselves, he kept everything neat and clean.

We have used Mertz Plumbing for jobs large ( Digging up cellar sewer line) to the drain cleaning mentioned above. They have always been prompt and courteous and have done an excellent job. We have never had to had them come back to fix something that wasn't done properly. And the elder Mr. Mertz is very kind to my rather nosy dog! ( People get points for that around here!!

We called set the appointment / on time and performed the test/ submitted the required paperwork. On time! no problems! Great folks will use again.

Mertz Plumbing is not cheap but they do know what they are doing and get it done correctly and in a timely fashion. I do admit that plumbing is not my forte, so I will continue to use Mertz for my plumbing needs.

Everything went well...Bob immediately (after my initial phone call) came to look at the problem. The faucet was replaced by the company (Moen) and when it arrived, Bob replaced it without delay. This was a very efficient and professional experience...I highly recommend this company.

They had to move the control lines to a new location and install the new shower controls. The work was done quickly with perfect workmanship. They did a superb job, they cleaned up after themselves, were very courteous and on time.

We went from a small leak to an average leak and called Mertz on a Monday morning. The woman answering the phone was very professional and very friendly, just as if talking with a friend. She apologized that they were booked Monday but would be there Tuesday. Later Monday she called me after work hours to inform me they would be there at 10:00 AM. Sure enough almost to the minute they showed up at our door. Bill and James were the two plumbers that came and within the hour had the leak fixed and water back on. Both men were very professional and friendly.

The is a very clean, neat and nice person. He has James with him. They clean up after themselves. They are professional. He explains everything to you so you know what he is doing. He is very knowledgeable.

Great. Bob is very professional, helpful and honest. He could have replaced the part himself and charged me alot of money. Instead, he determined that the water heater was still under warrenty, so he helped me find an authorized repairman to come and make the repair while still maintaing the warrenty and costing me alot less money. Great guy!
