Matt Mertz Plumbing Trenchless Sewer Repair Expert

I needed to have a toilet unclogged. Shawn was able to come to my home in less than an hour of my calling. The toilet was taken care of, and, in addition, scratches left years ago by a different plumber were scrubbed out.

Found more issues when camera could get past original blockage, needed trenchless sewer liner.never left without workable system, workers professional and explained process. Work took about 4.5 days usually at least 2 men. Did need small back ho to dig to the trap.

Food disposal was replaced on first visit, but they didn't stock the part for the leaking faucet. I ordered the part myself and they returned the next week to install it. They did not charge for the return visit. Bob and Shawn were both terrific and professional -- kitchen was spotless when the job was finished.

It went extremely well! First of all we were impressed that Matt Mertz Plumbing were so responsive to our problem. I called late Friday night and Chris arrived Saturday morning to assess the situation. Its tough to get a plumber on a Saturday but we were impressed that they came out so fast! Its was obvious that he really knew what he was doing. Very polite and professional too. Chris ran a snake through the floor drain to open. Located the trap in front of house with camera and uncovered fresh air vent under mulch. Camera showed ABS pipes with sludge build up. Raised fresh air vent. He explained to us that whoever mulched our yard should not have covered this vent. We will make sure this doesn't happen again! We plan on having this company come back out again to Hydrojet cleaning of building drain and sewer to remove sludge.

After a couple of quotes we went with Matt Mertz plumbing to up date water and sewage lines in our home. They had the most reasonable pricing. Dylan showed up promptly as scheduled and worked very diligently to get the job done. He was very polite. I was impressed with the extra time taken to clean up so that it looked as if they never had been there. I highly recommend Matt Mertz and his team. We will continue to use them for work in the future.

We noticed a water stain on our ceiling. We looked through the unfinished end of the wall and saw the copper pipe that ran from our hot water heater was dripping and had a bunch of white spots on it. We called Matt Mertz (the best plumbing company in town) and Brian Tarr was dispatched to solve our problem. He was so knowledgeable and professional. He explained that all the white spots were pin sized leaks and they ran the length of the pipe. He looked at the water heater and discovered the overflow tank was bad and all the copper piping was also covered with white deposits. He said he always wants to make sure the job is done right and no obvious problems are left unrepaired. Brian gave his office a call and came back the next morning (with assistant Steve) and fixed our leaking pipes. Brian cut three holes in our ceiling and replaced the entire copper pipe (about 45 feet). He also replaced the overflow tank and all the copper lines around the water heater. He also installed two new safety valves by the water heater. Brian and Steve did a super job. Brian explained everything he did and double checked the work to make sure everything was done right and we were satisfied. Brian and Steve did excellent work and they truly are wonderful plumbers. I highly recommend Matt Mertz for every plumbing need.

Two guys were on the crew and they worked to figure this out for over two hours. The fix was not complex, but did require a complete system clean out and Check up. They found the problem spot eventually and were great at documenting it and explaining my long term options. Definitely above and beyond.

Brian Tarr, Mertz's technician arrived on time, was a pleasant, talkative individual and I thought "Oh my, this talk is going to cost me". Wrong, his pleasant chatter did not stop him from completing his job of repairing a plastic pipe that we were told (by another plumber 10 years ago) that could not be repaired. He worked rapidly, knew where any tools or parts were in his truck and completed the job in less time than I expected. The cost of the repair was less than we anticipated. A very pleasant end to an emergency situation. Thank you, Brian & Matt Mertz Plumbing!!

This outfit never showed up for the agreed upon estimate appointment. They called the next day to say they were coming. Too late.

Water in the the bathroom tub was not draining. Hunter from Matt Mertz Plumbing unclogged the drain and replaced the drum tap lid in the access panel. He was courteous, worked quickly and answered my questions about the process. I need other work done in the bathroom and he was willing to advise me on the other project while he fixed the drain. I had hired a plumber from a different company the previous week and he did not resolve the problem. This is the second time I have used Matt Mertz Plumbing and I've been pleased both time. When I am ready to do the next project, I will call them. I would not hesitate to recommend them to neighbors.

I had a clogged sewage line in the back. They showed up earlier than expected. Tryed the regular snake that didnt work. Came right back with the hydro jet and got the clog with in minutes. Even battled the right brush in the back to make sure everything looked good. Did an amazing job very reasonable priced compaired to other companies. Would hire again and would recommend!

I asked Phil Arena to take a look at my hot water tank, it was leaking and needed replaced. My building is old and I knew the job wasn't going to be easy (it wasn't) but the guys did a great job. The tank was not easy to get to, it was the end of the day Friday but still Bob L and Jason B did a great job. They made it look easy.
