We had water running in our basement from the outside of the house. Mariani & Richard cut the cement in our basement around the walls in the basement, cleaned out a drain and drained the moisture from the cinder block (outside walls) and ran all the water to a french drain. They noticed that the existing sump pump was flushing water just to the wall outside by the french drain and they ran a line to move that water outside another wall so that the sump pump would work more efficiently. They were here for two days. They covered the area so that there was not a lot of dust on the rest of the house. They did a great job. We have not had any problems since they did the work. They did extra work with the sump pump that was not part of the original estimate and they did not charge me more than the estimate. I would highly recommend them.

Right on time, competitive price. Not the cheapest, but they did great work and you don't want to go up on a 3 story + home to fix a shoddy job.

It went very well. He carefully matched colors of mortar that were different at different sites on the house. He is a true artisan who is meticulous in his work. He was granted enough days by M & R to complete all of the work. When he finished, it was nearly impossible to tell where he had worked as the result was so well integrated by color and texture.

It went fine. They came one day later than expected due to another job taking longer than expected though. When they were here the technician was very nice, seemed to know what he was doing and cleaned up very well when he was done.

We solicited an estimate for re-pointing the chimney from the roof line up. Estimator arrived as scheduled, was knowledgeable, and the estimate arrived by mail within two weeks. It was very reasonable for the work. We scheduled for at least a month in the future, to wait until the flower garden was waning in the Fall. The workman was professional and did a good job.

They did show up on time to do the estimate, and the price we feel was a reasonable price.

I wasnt' here, but I think it went well. They did cleanup and the job, although it wasn't done in a robust manner, it was satisfactory. This kind of work isn't done very often and so finding one is very hard. I haven't noticed anything that is bad about the job.

They were very clean and professional. They came on time and started the job right away. They taped everything off so I didn't have to worry about anything.

The estimator was pleasant and prompt. He looked at the cracks and said that they weren't as bad as we thought. He suggested that the best thing for us to do was to have wall anchors put in (which they don't do). He was honest and didn't try to sell us something we didn't need.

Although our initial call was returned quickly and there was someone to look at the internal damage and ask questions, we were told they would return with a ladder to look at the interior of the chimney. We waited for a week for a return visit, but no one called or came with a ladder to look into the chimney. We called again and were told that their crews were on other jobs and they hadn't located a ladder yet to do a chimney inspection. At this point, because the damage to our living room was getting worse, we called another company and the work will begin on our chimney in a few days.

They were very professional. They cleaned up well. I didn't have any problems whatsoever. I found them before I knew about AL and checked their BBB rating and it was fine.

It took them an hour to install the pump. The tech was very prompt and did great work for us. We've had no problems with the work. Their bid was way under another company I got an estimate from.

I would recommend this company to anyone. They were pretty good about getting here on time and answered most of my questions for me. They were very professional and cleaned up the mess after they finished their job. I found it was a bit expensive but it was worth while.

They are the Rolls Royce of the waterproofing industry. They are expensive, but they are very good and they take care of everything for you. They did a very very good job and I am very satisfied with the work they did. They were happy to explain all the work they were doing.

They scheduled an appointment, sent a representative who evaluated the basement problem and promised to sent us an estimate. After several weeks, I called to request the estimate and was told that it would be sent. I'm still waiting 2 weeks later.

I had them come out a couple of times in the past few years to take a look at my mold problems. Both times they asked if I had a french drain. When I told them that I did, they told me that that was all they did, and left it at that. Finally, after dealing with this problem for a long time, I had them come out again, and it was determined that I needed a new french drain. They installed one that went about halfway around the house and also put in a new sump pump. They did good work, and I haven't had any other mold problems since then.

THEY WERE VERY HONEST AND SAVED ME MONEY. THEY SAID THAT I DIDN'T NEED MY BASEMENT WATERPROOFED.

I HAD A REAL STRUGGLE TO GET THE WORK PERFORMED. AFTER BEING TOLD BY THE SALES REPS THAT IT WOULD BE A FEW WEEKS, AFTER MANY CALLS AND SEVERAL DELAYS, THE WORK WAS DONE 8 WEEKS LATER AND FROM 3:30 TO 7:30 PM FOR 3 DAYS. THEY FAILED TO PROTECT THE SHRUBBERY AS STATED IN THE CONTRACT.

TOOK THREE CALLS AND A MONTH TO GET A PROPOSAL AFTER THE REPRESENTATIVE CAME TO THE HOUSE. WHEN I ASKED FOR THE MANAGER ON THE THIRD CALL, HE CHECKED AND SAID IT WAS MISPLACED IN CLERICAL. WHEN THE BID CAME, IT WAS 50% HIGHER THAN THE NEXT BID.

MARIANI & RICHARDS RESPONDED TO MY REQUEST FOR AN ESTIMATE ON DAMPNESS IN MY BASEMENT. SERGIO, THE ESTIMATOR, WAS ON TIME, VERY POLITE AND VERY HELPFUL. HE LISTENED TO MY CONCERNS,AND INSPECTED THE PROBLEM AREAS. HE RECOMMENDED SOME MINOR IMPROVEMENTS, THAT WOULD NOT REQUIRE WORK BY MARIANI & RICHARDS. WHEN ASKED, HE GAVE ME NAMES OF 2 PEOPLE WHO COULD DO THE CONCRETE WORK.

DID GOOD WORK, THEY WERE PLEASANT, COMMUNICATED WELL ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE DOING, WHEN WE FOUND MOISTURE AFTER THE PROJECT FINISHED, THEY CAME RIGHT BACK AND TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM.

RON FREEBOROUGH WAS VERY COOPERATIVE IN WORKING WITH US TO DETERMINE THE BEST SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE PROBLEM. HE PROVIDED ALTERNATE PRICING FOR THE VARIOUS OPTIONS. HE WAS COOPERATIVE IN SETTING UP A SCHEDULE THAT WOULD WORK FOR US. HIS WORKERS WERE ON SITE AS COMMUNICATED TO US. THEY APPEARED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COMPLETED THEIR WORK IN A TIMELY FASHION. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK, AS WELL AS THE COST FOR THE WORK.

THIS WAS A BIG JOB AND COSTLY. HOWEVER, THEY REALLY KNOW THEIR BUSINESS AND CLEANED EVERYTHING UP SO WELL.
