I called Jelly's about 1:00 PM and spoke to Matthew (the owner) who said he would have someone here between 2-4.PM. The door bell rang at 1:15 and Andrew was standing there (15 minutes after I called). I showed Andrew what happened and he began working to fix the problem. He replaced the cables and springs. He was professional, neat and had the problem fixed in no time. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Jelly's and Angie.

We were very pleased. Mr. Jellison arrived to give a bid on time, and spend a lot of time with me discussing the job, replacement options, etc. I thought that I would need concrete repairs to ensure proper door closure, and after carefully measuring the site and checking levels, he thought that I did not need the repairs. This turned out to be accurate and saved me considerable time and money. The bid for the work was very fair. They came promptly on the appointed date for installation and it went smoothly. The door fits well and has functioned just fine. They did what they said when they said they would do it, for a fair price. Warranty excellent, but I have not had any problems to date. They are an excellent company and I would definitley use them again. Good work and very comfortable to work with.

I found Jelly's Garage Doors from Angie's List. I contacted the company and spoke to Matt regarding the problems I was having with my garage door opener not opening from the remote and intermittently from the keypad. We discussed some trouble shooting options (new batteries, reprogramming the remote etc) over the phone which I had already performed myself without any luck. I knew that the logic board was probably bad after doing much research. I had opted to have the garage door opener replaced prior to them coming out. We discussed Liftmaster openers that they carry and he referred me to the website to review. An appointment was set up for two weeks later for installation (based on my availability of being off work that day) on Monday October 17, between 7:30-8:00 am. On the day of the scheduled installation, I waited but no one arrived to my home or contacted me about being late. At approximately 8:45 am I contacted the two number listed on Angie's List, however, there was no answer and I left voicemail messages on both numbers. At 9:30 am, I received a call from Danielle stating that she was sorry but they were running late. I couldn't understand how they could be late since I was the first scheduled appointment. She said I could expect someone to be there in an hour. I asked who would be doing the repairs and if that person could call me 10 minutes or so prior to their arrival. I finally received a call 1 1/2 hours later from Tony stating that they would be there in 10-15 minutes. Tony and his co-worker arrived at 11:15 am. He was very nice and listened to my problems with my garage door. He offered to try and re-program the remote first, but I declined since I tried so many other times. I stated I thought they were not coming, and he reported to me that he was unaware of this job until he received a call from Matt around 9:00 am that morning! The new garage door opener was installed very efficiently and they completed the work by 12:10 pm. I am happy with my new garage door opener and the service they provided once they arrived. I was disappointed that I lost over half of my day off just waiting for them to arrive to have the garage door opener installed! I had many appointments that day and had to cancel some of them.

I had called several other garage door repair shops, who said that I would have to wait a week or more, but he came the same day. I told him the exact garage door opener I had before he came and when he arrived, he had the correct part and put it on right away. He even greased the chains so that the garage door now opens quietly and very well. I even got a senior citizen discount! He worked efficiently and didn't stop until the replacement was complete. He really knew what he was doing. It was great to have a real professional come and do the work. (He was also a very nice young man!)

eWe used Jelly's at the beginning of the summer to fix a malfunctioning sensor on the older, existing garage door opener in our recently purchased home. That job was performed in a timely and professional manner, so when we decided to have a fixed keypad installed for the garage opener we called Jelly's again to do the job. As before, Jelly's arrived on time, got straight to work and did a thorough and presessional installation job. They were courteous, answered all my questions and charged a reasonable fee for the work performed.

Our garage door opener was not working and I called Jelly's Monday morning and talked to the owner Matt. He was going to send someone at noon to repair the opener but I wasn't available at that time so we arranged for someone to come this morning. The technician was punctual and professional. We were worried that we needed a new motor, but it just needed a part replaced and the technician said there was no need to replace the motor. Thanks so much Jelly's. I'll be sure to spread the word that you are the best!

Matt is a man with great Character. He does what he says. I could not have asked for a better job and communication to get this work done. He sets the gold standard for the way a company must run their business.

We called 3 different companies 2 of which are national chain types and Jelly's. 1 of the national chain companies did not call back for 3 days to schedule an estimate (forget about it), the 2nd national company had such a bad review on Angie's List that we cancelled that appointment and then there was Jelly's. When we saw the reviews on Angie's List we called them right away and scheduled an appointment for later the same day. When Matt came out we were immediately comfortable with him. We told him what we wanted, he answered all of our questions and provided us with a quote that very reasonable. Though we did not get any other quotes from any other installer we knew right then and there that Jelly's was the company we wanted to do business with. Matt told us that it would be a couple of weeks for our special order doors to come in but it turned out to take only one week. The crew showed up by 8:00 A.M. and were done by 4:00 P.M. They were all friendly and very organized with each of the crew which included Matt knowing their jobs. When they left they cleaned up everything and hauled the old doors and hardware away. I commented to my wife that I wish we had other property that needed new garage doors. The experience was that good. Would I recommed Jelly's to others, you bet I would.

We can't say enough great things about Matt Jellison and his business! He came out to give us an estimate the day I called him at the time he said he would show up. He gave us options to replace a broken door spring or replace the entire garage door which we planned to do this spring anyway. Offered the option of overhauling our garage door opener versus buying a new one. He and his assistant were very professional and were head and shoulders above another individual who gave us an estimate. Because our garage opening is an odd size, Matt said he could have a new Clopay door cut to size so the rectangles would look symmetrical versus cut off on the outer edges. Explained that it would take 2 weeks longer but would look much more professional, which it does. Matt went over every detail of how our new door would be installed, the reinforced hardware he uses, and his warranty. We took a few days to consider other options and then confirmed our order with Matt. The inital install date was set for about 2.5 weeks after we placed our order. I expressed a little disappointment that it was going to take several days longer than expected, and Matt was able to adjust his schedule and get ours done 3 days earlier which we really appreciated. Matt and his assistant showed up as planned to do the install. Once complete, he went over how the low overhead tracks work, the belt drive opener, the remotes, and any other areas we had questions about. Our old door was hauled away, cleanup was superb, and we have enjoyed owning/using our new door for over a month now. In addition, Matt's wife Danielle takes phone calls for the company and is a very courteous, pleasant person to deal with. If you're looking for a garage door company that provides professional, efficient, and reasonably-priced service, we highly recommend Jelly's Garage Doors!

It was an excellent. Matt came out promptly to give me an estimate, his price and delivery date beat the 4 other estimates we had and he clearly new what he was talking about. He gave us an installation date of two weeks and it was exactly two weeks later, at 0730 in the morning, that he and his crew showed up. The work was done quickly, with a high degree of quality. Couldn't be happier with the work. I would strongly recommend you consider Jelly's for a new garage door.

Matt responded to my call for an estimate for the job right away. He was willing to work within my budget and was appreciative of my business. On the scheduled day for installation, Tony arrived on time and did a great job installing the door. I would definitely recommend them.

I was completely satisfied. Jelly's responded to my inquiry for installation in a prompt manner. They were punctual in arriving within the time frame agreed upon. A broken spring was discovered and subsequently replaced. The job took much more time than they had anticipated, but they stayed until it was done and still provided superior quality and service. I hope that they will provide me with an estimate for replacing the old, heavy door that I currently have (possible future job).

This was a remarkable experience from start to finish! I was at the dentist and while walking back to my car saw a beautiful red truck labeled, "Jelly's Garage Doors" sitting in a driveway. Behind the truck, in the garage, were two men working feverishly on installing a new garage door. I approached one of them who turned out to be the owner, Matt Jellison, and invited him to our home to give us an estimate, since we had an old wooden door that was rotted along the bottom panels. I knew from the condition of his truck that he cared about whatever he was going to do, but frankly he outdid himself in every way: he came over that very afternoon and gave us an estimate after carefully measuring the conditions. What followed over the next two days must have been hard for him because my wife and I could not decide on an appropriate color and we needed it quickly and it had to be in stock, etc., etc. Rather than giving up on us, he patiently guided us – even to the extent of traveling to the warehouse with an order in hand while we still were deliberating. We took the plunge and the very next day (in precisely the five hours he had quoted) the job was done. The color perfectly matched the other trim in our home. He and his men then cleaned the area thoroughly and we paid him as per our agreement. Everything he promised, he did, without hesitation (providing brackets and springs and all sorts of items that we would not have thought of). It is because of him that we just joined Angie's List and we are very pleased with the array of services that you touch base with. We joined here in Pittsburgh on a monthly basis and need to know how that can possibly be transferred without losing the advantage of a longer term relationship – but also if that would continue if and when we move to Manhattan (without any penalties).

It went GREAT. I needed an almond door to match my townhouse, and wanted to have it installed before the end of the year to get the energy credit. Matt ordered the door, and Tony installed it the next week. It is perfect. My garage stays warm, the opener is much quieter and the springs are safer. Tony showed up on time, set up his tools and was so organized that there was very little time that the garage was open. He even brought his own propane heater. He swept the garage when he was finished, and took all the the trash with him. He showed me how to lubricate the spring and the rollers, and changed the light bulb on the opener. I love my new garage door and am very happy to recommend this company.

I called Jelly's and spoke to Matt (the Owner). While it was a small job he was happy to schedule it. He determined the device I had purchased was correct for the application and installed it. My wife was present when the work was done. He was helpful and didn't leave until he showed her how to use it and observed while she used it herself. She reported that he was helpful and friendly.

Fantastic work. Our ancient, and very heavy, garage door and electric garage door opener system died unexpectedly one morning. We needed something fast. We were referred to Jelly's and are very pleased we followed our friend's advice. They called us back within an hour, came to see the door that afternoon and we picked out a Clopay energy efficient door with a liftmaster garage door system with battery backup, keypad and electric eye with extra openers. They showed up the next day to intall the door exactly when they said they would be here. They were very clean and were not only wiping down the new door to remove any dirt on it, but cleaned my garage floor. The owner took the time to explain the operation and all the new gizmos on the keypads and main unit.

Very thorough, same day service. He was stuck in traffic, but called to let me know he was running late. He even replaced a part on our door with one that was in his truck from a job earlier in the day at no extra charge. Overall a great job. I'd definitely recommend Jelly's to anyone.

The guy we dealt with was excellent. The price charged was reasonable. The price charged was about $90 and it was a bit more since the work was longer than half an hour. He said that the apparatus on the garage door probably was original when the house was built about 40 years ago. He fixed it and told me that if something went wrong with it within a year, then he would replace it less the amount that I paid him. So it would cost me about $250 to replace it but we opted just to have it repaired for $94. He told me that he would put a new metal on it if it didn?t hold for a year. He said that he would also deduct what he had charged me. The door is working well and he gave me a one year warranty too.

On Sunday, one of my two garage door openers quit working. On Monday morning, I called Jelly's Garage doors, and was told that my garage door opener would be looked at that afternoon. Matt Jellison arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, gave me an estimate, and completed the work in ~1.5 to 2 hours. After fixing the opener he made the necessary adjustments to make the opener work properly and quietly. I have an identical opener on my other garage door, and Matt checked this opener for evidence of the same problem and lubricated and adjusted this opener as well. I was very pleased with the work, and was also pleased to have my opener working again within 24 hours.

My sister was delighted with the service. The opener had not worked that well in a long time. She tought she might need an extra remote but Matthew ( the owner who was also doing the work) told her not to bother with the extra expense of a remote that she is not using. Should she lose her remote, she should call him and he will bring one right over.
