I called Jeff the Tuesday before the 4th of July. He asked if it was an emergency and I told him it was not. We set up an appointment for the following Monday at 9:30AM. He was there right on time and performed in a professional and timely manner.

They did a good job and I would use them again.

It went extremely well. They were very personable and very professional. He showed up exactly when he said he would and did the work exactly how we expected. I would highly recommend him.

I live out of town and am preparing my mother's house for sale. When I made the initial call to set up an appointment I thought the lock on my mother's back door needed to be replaced. The receptionist told me that it was possible that it could be repaired and that Jeff would make that determination after examining it. I was asked if I could wait a day or if I needed service that same day. It wasn't an emergency so I was given an appointment for two days later. Sure enough when Jeff looked at the lock he said it could be repaired as opposed to replacing it. He made the appropriate adjustments to the lock. I really appreciated his honesty. He has to be one of the most pleasant servicemen I have ever met. He apologized for arriving all of two minutes past the appointment time. I don't remember the receptionist name but she was also very pleasant and helpful. I thought his rates were very reasonable also. I highly recommend Jeff's Lock & Key Service.

Jeff returned my call quickly. He gave me an estimate over the phone and scheduled the job for two business days later. He arrived on time and did nice work. Without my realizing it, my wife had scheduled other contractors for the same day. Jeff was very patient in working on the front door in between the other contractors moving equipment in and out.

The worker was skilled at his trade, and listed options for me to choose as replacements for the old lock. He responded to my phone call in a timely way, and had a skeleton key in addition.

Our preschooler somehow managed to slam a locked bathroom door shut, and we did not have the key. Jeff was able to make a service call within hours of speaking with him on the phone. He was polite and efficient. He quickly picked the lock, and replaced the knob so that our son wouldn't lock us out again in the future! He charged $35 for the service call ($5 discount for Angie's List), $19 for the materials, and $20 for labor. Total with tax: $80.

I selected Jeff after reading his reviews on the List, and I was very pleased with the experience. He was able to schedule the appointment on the day I requested, and arrived on time. He was quick to diagnose the problem, and had the necessary tools and parts to repair everything on the spot. Also, he was very friendly, and explained the problem and the solution in clear terms. I will definitely call him in the future.

He was very courteous and professional, did a great job. He was also very patient and showed me what he was doing.

Jeff was punctual, polite and helpful with his advice. The problem was that he eventually refused to give an estimate citing being busy with other work.

Excellent! He came the next day after I called, fit the visit into my schedule, completed the work on time, to my satisfaction.

One my of my best experiences yet with Angie's List and a service provider. I looked up Locksmiths yesterday morning, called Jeff's Lock and Key Service last night at 6:00pm - Jeff answered the phone and promptly came out this morning at 9:30am - on time, friendly, and professional. My wife was home alone with my young son and reported she felt comfortable with Jeff in the house and he was very friendly and professional. By 11:00am both jobs had been completed and he made extra keys on the spot for the new front door lock. Jeff said he logs into Angie's List regularly to read his ratings because he values the feedback he receives on the List - just another reason to have Jeff back in the future - he CARES about customer satisfaction. Overall, a great experience and I am already thinking about how I can use his service in the future. Thanks Jeff!

MY INITIAL PHONE CALL WAS ANSWERED BY A PERSON (JEFF). HE WAS POLITE AND HELPFUL. HE SHOWED UP FOR THE SERVICE APPOINTMENT ON TIME. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN AND NEAT. THIS WAS A ROUTINE SERVICE, NOT AN EMERGENCY.

OWNER, JEFF, ARRIVED AT SCHEDULED TIME AND WE REPLACED ALL OUTDOOR LOCKS. ALL NEW KEYS WERE MADE, AND ALL LOCKS AND NEW KEYS WERE TESTED. ALL ARE WORKING PERFECTLY.
